The sword, such as shown in the picture, can extend into a whip mode in which it gets much more additional range, and with its separate blades, does much more damage than a regular sword (think of barbed wire)
The sword in its normal form is not solid, and does much less damage than a regular sword. It has a normal range for a long sword.

Description:
The sword does damage in electric melee damage on touch of an enemy, however this is only when the weapon is extended in whip mode. At D rank, this provides an additional 2 HP to an opponent.
Strengths:
-This provides additional lightning damage on hit
Weaknesses:
--This attack only works in the sword's whip mode, which is not always very accurate
--The ability can only apply the additional damage at the same time

Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description:
In its normal sword mode, the user can choose to use this ability, which does the user's rank of damage divided by three over the span of three posts.
Strengths:
--The damage is very hard to cure while the effect is active
Weaknesses:
--This attack only works in the sword's normal mode, which already does reduced damage
--The ability can only put the effect on one person at the same time
