    Shine down, Spark up
Summer was at a wedding… goody. She was lucky this was a wedding which was a part of the job and not because she wanted to witness two people sticking their tongues down each others throats. She just wanted to help since she actually hated the current situation of the wedding, it kinda sucked so she has decided to help. According to the actual job, the couple were being tormented by some jealous ex boyfriend that wanted to actually wanted to completely wreck the life of the groom. Summer sighed softly as she felt the scratches on her cheek that was placed on her thanks to Sol, she would probably never find love, would she?? That was completely fine since she was practically close to everyone, but she despised the fact that the torturous session that Sol passed down onto her basically scarred her for life.

Onto the matter at hand, Summer had to quickly fancy up with an outfit that she decided to wear for the wedding. It wasn’t the most appropriate but it would do for her, it was green after all, one of her favourite colours. Along in Summer’s arsenal was a ring blade that was forged with her in mind ever since the incident with Shen, her dongsaeng. Today however, she bought someone else, she bought one of the newer members of Golden Phoenix who called themselves Alistaire. Summer didn’t know much about them, so it was going to be really good getting to know them. On Summer’s shoulder was someone else she brought along: her flower fairy known as Laysha.

“Summer, who is he sitting next to you??” The fairy grinned while she asked. “He is sooooooo sexy!”

“Laysha!” Summer scowled at her. The ace had no time for Laysha’s flirting tactics. “We need to be on guard and watch out for anyone thats shady! We have no time to think of cuteness.”

“You’re no fun…” Laysha mumbled as she crossed her arms and looked away. “You need to get laid.”

“OI!!!” Summer shook her head, this was awkward… everyone was looking at her. This was most certainly awkward for the fireworks expert.

Post by Alistaire 9th February 2017, 2:24 pm

Alistaire wasn't sure what had happened to him, but he was currently sitting at a place where he would never, ever go without being forced. A wedding. By no means was Alistaire a hater of weddings, but he found the ones with giant crowds and ridiculously pricey ones utterly useless. Alistaire never understood why on earth people waste all their jewels on one stupid day, when they can use that money to perhaps go on a lovely and long vacation together or maybe get themselves a bigger/more luxurious place to live. He just found it insane how people would throw so many jewels at fancy decorations, big cakes and some stupid dress or suit. He simply found it unnecessary, and his light hatred towards weddings was definitely because he happened to be jealous or anything.. Anyway, today wouldn't be the day to be expressing his opinion as he was currently on a job with a fellow guild member and her weird little companion.

Currently, Alistaire was aimlessly looking around, waiting for something to happen. All they had to do was wait for that pile of idiots to be spotted and beat them into the ground before they can even set one foot onto the wedding area. That dumb ex-boyfriend was going to be greeted with Alistaire's little friends the moment he'd spot him. He was most likely going to be using his ranged weapons the most, since he didn't want his clothes to be ruined. He was wearing a white blouse with a black tie, accompanied with a light grey vest and a pair of pants in the exact same colour. Alistaire wasn't much of a fan of formal clothing, which is why this outfit was the only one he had in his useful pocket dimension. He really didn't want to buy a new outfit, so this one had to stay in a decent shape.

The explosive mage was currently taken out of his aimless glaring around the area by Summer's little companion. "Summer, who is he sitting next to you??" Alistaire turned his head towards the high pitched noise coming from the weird little fairy that accompanied his guild-mate. He is soooooo sexy!" Alistaire chuckled, a smile appearing on his face as he saw Summer scold the little fairy. This was the most enjoying thing that had happened today, so Alistaire had a cocky smile on his face while he thoroughly enjoyed what was happening beside him. It seemed like it was planned, but the moment Alistaire casually decided to take a sip of his water, the fairy made a comment that made him choke on his drink.

    "You need to get laid"

Just to make it even more perfect, the girl's reaction had grabbed the attention of the surrounding people, so currently several people were eyeing the girl with some slightly confused looks. Meanwhile, Alistaire had been half-coughing/half-laughing, his left hand pushed against his mouth as an attempt to muffle the noise. After a few seconds he managed to stop himself from laughing/choking, but he couldn't get the cocky smile off of his face. Heavily attempting not to laugh again, Alistaire turned back around towards his guild-mate. "Sorry, not very mature of me to laugh about that." Alistaire spoke, a smile still stuck on his face. He found the fairy's comment hilarious, but he knew that Summer probably wouldn't appreciate him laughing at her.

Quickly after having made his little apology, Alistaire leaned towards Summer, and curled both hands around his mouth before making an attempt at getting close to her ear. "Though if you're ever looking for someone, I definitely know a few good-looking guys or girls that would happily accompany you.~" Alistaire whispered, trying to tease her a little. He knew that she probably wouldn't enjoy him saying this, but the situation was simply too ideal.

Summer was embarrassed the moment everyone gave her confusing looks. Did they seriously not hear her fairy telling her that she needed to get laid?? Oh dear… this was not going down well for her at all. It probably didn’t help that she was getting very paranoid lately thanks to that incident with Sol back at magnolia… sigh. What’s a girl to do when she had no idea just what to do?? The answer had to be somewhere, and that answer certainly didn’t seem to lie in the guild member that came with her on the job. Alistaire couldn’t help but splutter out and tried his best not to cough up what he was drinking. This made Summer a tad bit insecure, but she wouldn’t let this bring her down! She was a hyperactive, overconfident little so and so for a reason!

Facepalming herself in defeat, it wasn’t that long before the others stopped staring at her and continued on with their friendly banter of sorts, probably excited to talk about how excited they are to see the bride and how pretty she would look like. Summer wasn’t going to lie… She was slightly jealous, she wanted to be the bride at some point in her life, but knowing her immaturity, it was very unlikely. Luckily, the man apologised, so it was not all that bad.

Suddenly, Alistaire placed his hands and mouth right near her delicate looking ear and Summer weeped instantly, what the hell did he mean by that?! Her heart started to beat faster, her actions fumbled her true intentions and she didn’t think someone was able to make her feel so embarrassed in her entire life. Maybe Laysha should be taken care by him instead of the fairy looking at her bright red face.

“S-stop!” Summer reacted to the man teasing her. She doesn’t deserve this.

“Alright alright, I’ll stop teasing you.” Alistaire chuckled at Summer’s rather weak reaction. Wanting someone to quit with whatever they’re doing isn’t exactly achieved easily by stuttering out “stop”, but it would be enough for Alistaire to temporarily put his teasing on hold. He didn’t think feel like the girl was really appreciating his comment, so it was best for him to just stop for now unless he wanted her to hate him.

“How exactly are we going to handle those idiots? Like, do we have a strategy or are we just going to improvise?” The black haired boy turned towards Summer, waiting for her to answer. Alistaire plans weren’t very creative at all, and they usually followed a simple pattern. Track them > Blow ‘em up. Easy as pie, but not as productive in a very delicate area. His magic didn’t exactly allow him what to blow up/destroy or not, since a rocket didn’t have some selective power that’d only cause it to harm the ones he wanted it to. If they happened to get into a fight close to the wedding, Alistaire would be very limited in what skills he can use. He’d probably have to rely on his melee weapon, since all the others would either blow everything up or just burn everything in its path.

Though he probably shouldn’t be, Alistaire was actually rather excited to fight. He hadn’t been able to beat anything up since he had joined Golden Phoenix, so he was filled with energy and ready to finally dish out some devastating blows. Though he had been informed that the enemies would destroy D-ranked mages, he was still confident he could take them on. Besides, he had Summer to support him whenever the battle would get a little rough. Speaking of Summer, he didn’t even know what type of magic she used.

While just casually sitting there as he waited for the wedding to start, Alistaire suddenly felt several sudden taps on his left shoulder. Looking behind him, he was greeted by the sight of a severely annoyed woman. She really didn’t look happy. “You’re one of the mages that we hired, right??” The woman was whispering, and her tone was similar to that of a mother currently scolding her child. Alistaire, slightly confused, quickly replied to the slightly intimidating woman. “Yes I am, why?” “You were supposed to be tracking that ex-boyfriend and his little friend, not just sit here and enjoy the wedding!” “What’s the point in looking for them when we can just wait for them to come here?” Alistaire replied, his tone calm and his expression slightly confused. Why would they chase those idiots when they could just take them out the moment they set foot on the area. It would be much safer if they stayed at the wedding and protected it, but apparently the woman had a different opinion. “Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because they might get the chance to destroy the wedding if you let them come here? Your job is to keep them AWAY from the wedding, not let them grab a slice of cake, break a chair, have a little chat, AND then eliminate them.” The woman’s tone was sassy and showed clear signs of sarcasm, it somewhat reminded him of his mother. “Anyway, you better take care of them, or I will personally take care of you.” The woman kept talking, now making up some bad way of threatening him. Alistaire wasn’t much of a fan of threatening and would happily blow this woman away right now. Sadly, that would mean he wouldn’t get his jewels, and that was one of the few reasons he was here. “Don’t worry, we’ll easily take care of this.” Alistaire replied, not afraid to show his confidence. He couldn’t imagine them losing from some angry boyfriend and his thugs. “Very well. Good luck” And with that, the woman walked away and Alistaire turned back towards his guild mate, telling her the little idea he thought of in the past few seconds “It might be useful if we wait for them at the entrance so we don’t have to run there when they do get in.”

Being a part of a wedding that involved someone she has never worked with before can be really difficult, especially when a situation like this happens. Luckily, Summer overheard the conversation that he had with the woman. She didn’t know how to exactly react because of how the whole thing went so fast in the first place. Of course, this meant Summer had to time to respond to the situation, it concluded with the factor of Summer doing sweet f all and letting the conversation run it’s course.

When the conversation ended, Alistaire turned to Summer and suggested they waited outside, Summer sighed softly as she shook her head, she didn’t know if that would be a good idea. If it was in the outside area, then surely some issues could arise for a lot of reasons. One of the reasons was very much to do with professionalism. If more guests needed to arrive, then what's the point in making it look messy outside?? That would not be cool whatsoever and even though it would be much more cleaner, Summer would have more tactics to use around the room in terms of intrusion. Summer may be more reckless than she seems but she had intelligence to back up for it, she would rather crawl on someone's back and cover their eyes rather than punching them in the face constantly.

“Not the best idea.” Summer stated as she looked to Alistaire and bit her lower lip. “There is plenty of reasons why that isn’t the most gracious idea in the world.” The fireworks expert looked to him before she stood up and shook her feet. “Besides, it’ll be more surprising if they didn’t know they had bodyguards, right?? I mean, that is the best tactic ever!” Summer noted him before her smile curved into a natural, trademark grin that she always possessed. Her grin changed however, noises could instantly be heard and this perked the attention of the destructive fireworks mage. God damn, they do let their presence became known, Summer didn’t even need to let the zodiac sense their presence. “It’s them…” Summer announced.

“Ewww.” Laysha’s nose crinkled at what Summer said. “If you are wondering what Summer means, almighty sexy one, she can sense people with the zodiac. Pretty neat, huh?!” She questioned the black haired male, flying right next to his face with her hands on her hips. Her grins were just as big as Summer’s, no, in fact, they may be even bigger than Summer’s ever will be.
