Scavenger hunt!

Advent didn't feel to well after having he had smelled that last wine in the restaurant so decided to move along before he was asked to do something that would make him truly sick like judging a hotdog competition or going into a car. He couldn't help but shudder at the sheer thought of doing something so horrible. He stopped feeling what seemed to be a reoccurring and somewhat annoying footsteps of the person whom he seemed to think it wise to place liquid not meant to be drank into their mouth though they both knew for a fact just how strong it actually was. Stopping he couldn't help but let out a sigh "You're like a tamed animal in a circus you know" he sounded frustrated and that was because the long white haired mage actually was, he wasn't use to the continuous company of a living person.

He raised his head almost as if looking to the sky "You're right seems like rain, but we can't stay here inside of this place" he sighed a bit and began walking in a random direction not knowing where he would end up but then this was part of what he enjoyed because he never really knew what to expect; what he did know however is if the slightly younger mage continued to be around him then he best buckle up as nothing was as it seemed and it was one hell of a bumpy road that had countless turns and twists with random obstacles that would come out of nowhere.

James was in the town of Hargeon, headquarters of his guild Lamia Scale. He wasn't doing anything important, just trying out a newly opened restaurant. They called the place the Backwards Hat, probably due to the unusual environment. It was located on the outskirts of town, one could guess it was deliberately placed there to attract new comers, and they were succeeding. As James finished his meal there, he a saw a bulletin board with job postings by the bar. It appeared to be various jobs and help wanted ads, one particular poster caught James' eye. It read "My wife's jewelry has gone missing in the city of Hargeon! there is a 15,000 Jewel award for its safe return." James grind with excitement, a new job and a chance to make some money.

He tore the poster from the wall and left a jewel on the counter as a tip, before quickly walking out of the building. "looks like today is my lucky day, I managed to snag an easy Job..." James said as he began strolling back into the main part of town. It was the middle of the day, so the streets were fairly busy. James didn't know exactly where to start, so he began to check the job sheet for information. The description of the missing Jewels explained that they were: a ruby necklace, diamond bracelet, and a golden ring. Though the information was helpful it provided no advice as to where these items might be. James decided the bast place to start looking would be Kregg's Armory and Pawn. If someone wanted to sell something that didn't belong to them, that was usually where someone would go.

Rhyolo looked at Advent as they continued to walk The young mage had heard Avdent sigh with a heavy breath and comment how he was like a tamed circus animal. The fire mage laughed at this comment. He then smells a hint of metal in the air and suspects it will rain soon. Rhyolo decides to tell Advent even though deep down he knows Advent would say something about the rain being fun or something along those lines. As if he was reading his mind, Advent then says then says it will raind and then followed Advent to who knows where. He then looks ahead and then sighs.  Advent, I swear you are gonna be the death of me. But then again you are one of the only people in this world who keep my life pretty interesting. Rhyolo then smirked a little as braced himself for whatever will happen with this crazt man, Advent. Rhyolo looked up toward the atmosphere looking  at the light gray clouds in the sky. He then realizes that the precipitation that would come down wouldn't last for long. He decides to tell the white haired mage about the cloud burst about to happen." Hey, Advent. The rain that should be coming should only last for a short time. By the way how did you know i though it would rain?" Rhyolo then puts his hood up from his red hoodie in preperation for the rain that would be coming their way in a short amount of time.

Advent moved to the job board inside Magnet Town as he now called it since he seemed to always get drawn back there without the foggiest as to why. Placing his hand on the board he slowly moved from one to the next but before long one would seemingly come free on its own "So what have you chosen then?" he turned and smiled having hearing the ripping noise of the paper he scratched his head as he listened "Someone's jewellery was stolen... what is it with this town and people getting either stolen or personal belongings stolen I swear to the spirits" he flinched rubbing the back of his head "I'm sorry I know I shouldn't have but... hng..." he almost flinched as if he was thinking he was going to be swatted once more but it never seemed to come.

"The moisture in the air has changed" he commented to the question taking the poster and handing it to the other so he could see what it entailed "Seems like a clear cut job and since Magnet town has a guild hall hear from what I'm hearing perhaps we can find another mage to make the task go quicker after all we all want to get stronger... well maybe not me... strength is a burden" he almost sounded depressed nearer the end of that statement but it was short lived as he walked off in the hopes to find another who would like to group with him and Rhyolo.

James walked into Kregg's shop taking a long look at all the items on display. He saw plenty of objects that interested him, various magic trinkets, but nothing seemed to match the vivid description of the stolen property. Feeling it was his best and only option James walked up to the counter and tapped a bell. Within seconds his friend Kregg seemingly appeared out of no where saying "Ah James, good to have you here, very good indeed! How can I help you today." James would usually have some banter with his old friend at the shop, but he was on a job. "Hey Kregg, I need some help with a job I'm working. Any Jewelry like this come into the shop?" James handed the skinny dark complected may the description of the items, thinking it may job his memory. After reading over it, the man began to think and started saying: "Hmm, yes... Yes! Why I just say these items earlier today. A umm- larger fellow walked into the shop today and tried to sell me the same items. Though I decided to pass on buying them. I don't know his name or his current whereabouts... If I had to guess though. He was wearing a jacket with a red and yellow patch on it, perhaps the thief works for a company near by hmm?" James nodded and thanked his friend before leaving the shop. James then began walking toward his guild, perhaps a member of it knew of an organization with a red and yellow patch...

Rhyolo listens to advent as he has a convorsation with somoen whis isn't even there. He even sees Advent flinch as if he was about to get hit upside his head. Rhyolo has two explanations for this. His first is that Advent is crazy and has multiple voices in his head. The latter of the two ideas its that Advent uses some sort of magic that involves spirits. Rhyolo crossed his finger that it wasnt the first of the two and Advent wasn't and escaped loony house resident. Buy even the second option was not the best for him either
Rhyolo had a slight fiscomfor when around corpses. They make himfell like his own being is rotting from the inside. Rhyolo then heard his white haired companion say something about them needing another member for their job. Rhyolo just nods knowing that any resistance would be futile. Rhyolo then starts to think of places where they might find another wizard capable of helping them on this task. "Yeah, Maybe we should go check out lamia scale. They are the local guild so there are bound to be wizards around there. So i suggest we try and go find one there if want another set of ey... I mean, uh, hands to help us out and find the theives. "  Rhyolo sweat a little as he manage to catch his slip up. He hoped adven would not notice this. But if he did rhyolo expected a couple of things to happen. All of them less than desireable.
