    Job Info:
The train made it quickly across the fields around the land of Fiore. If you looked out, then you would have trouble focusing on a single thing, or at least without feeling that your eyeballs are hanging out of your skull. Many people were aboard and merely enjoying the ride with various acquaintances, hobbies and other stuff. Mura, the shaman who sat beside a window, couldn’t but try to sleep during the ride, which could be of several reasons; mostly, you could call him a night own. He wasn’t the best at falling asleep at night, which would turn around when the day arose. Plus, he used to tire himself during the night with swordsmanship practices and lots of other training to keep his skill level solid. The result would be the kind of morning-sleepy guy with orange headphones on to block away most sound from the other passengers, accompanied by two spirits; the one of an ancient samurai and the one of an ancient dragon.

He’d taken good time in reading the job paper, though; as written, there was this lady at Clover Town who’d gotten her very antique jewelry and various, valuable items stolen by a group named the White Hand. It’s happened quite recently, which was also noted down, and she was desperate for help. Having a single, large gang bully you like that was closer to the worst thing than the opposite; although, the word ‘bully’ might’ve been an understatement. Honestly, it made him wonder what kind of antique jewelry that this Miss Zoe possessed, because having stuff like that stolen several times in a row proves its high value.

He wasn’t alone; a fact that one should remember. Kyuken, Zirconis and a third person was going to accompany him during this little day of adventure. About the third person, who was most likely somewhere in the train, was his new friend and guildmate Frey… just where was she, again? Having that thought popping up, he rose from his seat and looked around. “Zoe! Zoooooooeeeeeeee..!” the samurai spirit called out, well-aware that perhaps the girl wouldn’t listen to him after what happened back then. "You really think that she'll come over to a damned pervert like you..?" the dragon responded to the call, in which Kyuken let down a comical sweat drop. "B-But, come on, Zirconis; I was just honest with myself..." he tried to justify his action back then, but in vain as the dragon's face remained disbelieving. The face of Kyuken would’ve most likely burned into her memory forever. “Hm… nah, she’ll show up,” Mura let out lazily as his butt fell onto the seat again and made him rest his back on the leather… such responsibility was rare…

Going on jobs with people who were not her mother, was still an idea that quiet frightened the small girl. Sighing she hugged her knee's to her chest in the corner of her room, looking at the new clothing laid out on her bed, someone in the guild having been kind enough to get her several new items after her growth spurt. Being somewhere around ten? Was still disturbing to the young girl who had been no better than slightly over a toddler only weeks ago, but she was slowly learning how to get by, act more mature than she was chronologically, so that she could continue her life smoothly. What to wear this morning was always something that got to the young girl, since she was used to only wearing her old dress and now had numerous other items, some of which she didn't even know how to put on.

"This doesn't look horrible, does it Silver?" the female took a bit to get moving, but when she did the pale human clothed herself in a simple sweater dress and tights for the colder weather, both earth toned like the cookie she was eating. The wolf she had spoken to, who lay in the corner of her room, simply offered a huff in response barking afterwards and standing up as if they were ready to go. In his mind? They were, he couldn't understand the child developing the mentality to be concerned over what other's thought of her appearance, he was used to the tot clinging to his back and he still saw the small girl that way. "Geeze your no help." she tied her shoulder length hair in two small pig tails, following after her wolf as he left the room, gripping his reins tightly with her hand, leaping onto him. While other's could take train's? She had to tie her hemlock plushie to Silver and let the wolf take her places or she got motion sickness.

"Are they late or are we early?" the little girl spoke up once more, it was about an hour later when she'd arrived in clover town breathing billowing breaths into the winter hair. Right now? The duo was standing at the train station, waiting for the other's from their guild, of course she wasn't looking forward to seeing one of those spirits. As the memory came back, Frey wrapped the blanket on silver's back around her own body, nervous and wishing to avoid being gawked at again.

Post by Mura Kensho 4th December 2016, 12:50 pm

A rather small train would make its arrival at the station, launching a loud, grinding sound with its steel wheels as it braked. Sparks flew off from the bottom, before a horn could be heard as sign of their arrival at the end station, while steam erupted from a black club. Next thing that happened was Mura sitting in a cross-legged position and having a straight face, soaring across the station tiles as he was comically kicked off by the train guard; with that red face of his, the conductor roared: “And don’t ruin my passenger’s journey with you ghost stories, darn brat!”

The shaman landed on his butt like a statue as the doors were shut, before looking behind and commenting: “Huh… but I was speaking the truth…” The two spirits would make their appearances over his shoulders, head and head, sweating a little by the event. “Pft, don’t mind that bastard, Mura,” the samurai comforted him with an upset look on his face. Zirconis found the situation irrelevant and responded with a grunt, before spotting the Earth Dragon Slayer and her companion before them. There, standing in her new clothes due to that ‘incident’ which was spotted back then, a thought popped up on Mura’s mind; wasn’t she still very young? What happened to his responsibility over her? She looked a little older, but that didn’t mean that she was. A sweat drop trickled down his forehead as he greeted: “Oh… ‘sup, Frey… uhm… nice to see you well-safe and all…” He slowly stood up and adjusted his packed katana shaft that was tied to his back, before continuing: “Hm… you’ve seemed to grow up inside as well. by the way, nice dog..!” The shaman suddenly appeared before the wolf known as Silver, petting its forehead with the lack of any care in the world. Kyuken was already triggered by nostalgia over last time that he saw her, but received a stunning gaze from Zirconis, which made the spirit ball freeze solid.

“Anyway, we do have a job to complete. Let’s go…” he spoke with a soft smile, while walking off with a few gazes backwards to make sure that Frey didn’t suddenly get lost. Well, he knew little of her ‘following-people’ skill and her mature state as well, and he didn’t want to get tricked by the appearance. Last time that he saw her before ‘that’, she was at any rate younger in appearance, around his cousin’s age. Those thoughts faded away as he noticed several stores being closed due to security issues, which was written on the holed windows. That must’ve been because of the White Hand, whom the job description mentioned; a gang that he and Frey had to stop. However, first, they had to find this Miss Zoe for further information…

The little girl had learned about the motion sickness Dragon Slayer's were given on transportation, she had found out about it when she had to go partake in a contest that would not allow Silver to aid her. If she had ridden her rune wolf out to the event? Than he would have refused to sit on the sidelines when someone started attacking her and she would have been disqualified. Luckily she had left him, because with the Knight Leila at her side the little girl had won the tag team division, something that would not have happened if her companion was with her. Briefly the child wondered what she should do in the future if she ran into another situation like that, would it be cheating to use her wings for transport? It only consumed her magic to make them after all, so it wouldn't be hard to use them for personal transport.

Holding her drake plushie in her arms the child sighed slightly, leaning her fuzzy green hair against the light blue fur of Silver. Waiting for their partner for this mission? Was taxing for someone was not used to someone being late on her, and there was no way she had arrived early, people were suppose to wait on her, not the other way around. "I don't think they care if you were speaking the truth or not." the child made the comment as she saw her guild-mate embarrassingly get kicked out of the train, right on time for the moment they were suppose to meet up, but well he was still late in her book. "Try not to be late in the future I dislike waiting." the child scoffed it out, and Silver barked in agreement since Frey was his word he didn't dare object and point out they had gotten here early.

"Of course I'm safe Mura, Silver would never let anything happen to me." If their was one thing she knew in a world of things she had no clue about? It was that the wolf would be beside her until her dying breath because she had saved him from his. It was swift that the tall beast barked in agreement and nudged the young child fondly, as if confirming her words of his devotion. That was when he noted the way one of the spirit balls momentarily glanced at Frey and if the glare sent by the companions of it, than the way Silver suddenly started barking and lunging, well that would do the trick. Any perverted thoughts of his mistress? Would not be tolerated, the blue beast would tear apart anything that ever thought of touching her, especially while she was still so young in his eyes.

"Down boy, I might not trust the spirit but I trust Mura, so it's okay boy."  the wolf huffed out angrily at her words and the way she stood on her tip toes to lean against his head keeping the muzzle closed. Yet? He did not move to disobey as her hands ran down the side of his neck gently. Second's later he was calm and turned to start walking with his reins in her left hand. "Let's go than, though it might be wise for me to leave Silver inside, he could be intimidating to someone who doesn't know what he is." indeed rune wolves were odd, they were nearly tall as a young adult, well muscled and covered in fur that looked liker ice, piercing golden optics, they were impressive but terrifying. Most of the children in her old village had been frightened away from her for some time due to her companion's presence.

All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey] Empty Re: All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey]

Post by Mura Kensho 31st December 2016, 5:11 am

Her large wolf was a devastating sight for easy scaredy-cats, a wonder of nature for explorers and all other wildlife-lovers, and even but an innocent dog for the youngsters that passed them in the street. For Mura, it wasn’t that big of a wonder that this creature had a close bond to Frey, perhaps an even closer bond than the one between him and his spirits. Watching her actions with her companion brought joy to him, in which the samurai ghost commented: “Well, don’t you two get along well~”. Its size was another discussion, but they were already close to Miss Zoe’s shop, which was their meeting place. Frey’s earlier comment about him being late was quickly sinking away by a frown and a feeling of déjà vu; the term was seriously not his strong side. He could remember that day where he was supposed to lead his client into a desert, only to forget him back at his home. How was something like that possible?

“Yeah… I’ll remember that,” he mumbled in a slightly pained voice, before stepping his foot onto a small stairway that lead up to Miss Zoe’s shop, “Alright… there’s the broken door.” Apparently, whoever stole from this lady had broken in through the front door, but they left something. While taking a closer look, a small card was seen hanging on the handle. “Did they leave that card themselves..?” the shaman asked out in confusion. It was quite too obvious for a trace, and the draconian spirit agreed. “Leaving such thing out… so, any other information, lady?” The ghost was referring to the figure that walked out of another room, wielding a statue made of ebony. Her face was saddened, but the view of those two mages in front of her filled her facial expression with curiosity and wonder. “Oh, are you the..?” she was about to ask out, before Mura pulled up the job request paper with a quick nod, “… I see. Then you might already know of the White Hand, no?” She would move closer, a little curious but determined to help them as much as possible with her knowledge about the thieves that consecutively stole items from all around the town, before spotting the cute, large wolf nearby. “Oh! What an interesting, little dog that you have there~”. the lady spoke up in joy, even attempting to pet Silver. Coming as a surprise, a little sweat drop trickled down Mura’s cheek, but at least her sad atmosphere faded away. Although, other than the card, they still needed more clues to track down this thief group; black powder on the handle would help, if the shaman had just noticed it…

Lots of people in world were easily frightened to be brutally honest. Even the child herself? Had a few childish fears that one would not expect from a child who could tell a snarling beast to chill out, without batting a single eye lash. In fact one of her fears was simply telling her mother she was a dragon-slayer, a fact anyone should be proud of. Thus even the most steeled warriors could have something to be frightened of, and she knew Silver brought out fear in many people, in fact any of the few people they saw on the way, gave the wolf a large amount of space. "Of course we get along, I saved his life." normally wolves of Silver's variety were hard to tame in her home village, mostly because their loyalty to their packs was to the death, it took the most skilled earth mates months to even be able to touch one for a brief second. However when Frey had found Silver he had been cut off from his pack and it was forced to leave him to starve, until one little girl found him and saved his life. The very second she gave him the strength to stand once more? The green haired female became his alpha, whoever she chose to trust his pack.

"I don't know if it will be much use now that you've touched it, but if the thief's did leave it, Silver could potentially track them from the scents on it." even if they didn't leave their own scent, there would be an odor on the card that could at least lead them to somewhere the criminals frequented or such. Right? She knew he was capable of tracking, but she had never tested how far he could trace something. Of course for the moment she could not even ask her companion to sniff it considering her guild mate was holding the item and it would be rude for Silver to stick his snout into Mura's hand.

Miss zoey was lucky that Frey had already given Silver the cue to investigate the shop, because her hand missed the mark of petting the wolf. Little known fact? Silver did not like people besides for Frey touching him without her verbal permission being expressed to them first, so she would have bitten if she managed to pet him, would have been a sour note to the start of a job. "Silver doesn't really like being pet-" she was cut off by the wolf pawing at her ribs and tugging her sleeve, leading her over to the black powder on the handle. "Hey Mura I think you missed this." with those words she placed her hand on Silver's neck, not petting just holding it there with a small smile.

Of course! The wolf that accompanied Fred would be of good help this time. The card itself would probably contain the scents of whoever put it there, and if they tracked them down, then it was most likely an invitation of theirs. Although, his connection with the card would ruin it, in which a small sweat drop trickled down. “Well… I hope that it’s still going to work,” he replied, approaching miss Zoe and Silver, “There should be something else that can track them down. Lady, have these guys robbed somewhere else for a while?” Zoe would straighten up after watching Silver push Frey somewhere else, replying: “Well… they’ve been robbing many places in this little town. I don’t know if there’s any place or house that hasn’t heard of them…” An active thief gang like them would most likely have a base or headquarters or whatever thieves had as a home nearby or, maybe, in this town. Although, if so, then it would be very likely to spot them enter that house.

He heard Frey calling him as she spoke that he might’ve missed a thing back at where she was pulled over to. A little curious, his feet moved him towards the same place where he found the card, the handle. If you looked closely, some black powder was visible on it. A detail that he quickly overlooked because of the card that was found in the same place, in which he lit up in hope.“That’s… that must be from the gang. Do you think that Silver can track them down with this?” “It smells like charcoal,” the samurai ghost commented, “Perhaps they tried to burn the handle down?” Looking at the handle, it appeared distant. The metal itself wasn’t damaged by any heat around the charcoal, but… where would the charcoal come from, then?

“Some of them are mages,” miss Zoe commented, “They try to hide it, but I witnessed one of them. There was a lot of light and shadow around him, all at the same time.” Her legs began to shake a little out of fear. “His mere presence… I thought that I was going to die that day…” Her face was trembling with fright by the memory of that ‘man’, which would make these thieves stand out more dangerous than one could’ve expected or imagined. Compassionately, Mura put a hand on the lady's shoulder, trying to calm her down. "Don't fear anymore," he spoke to her with a softened voice, "When we're done with thoes thieves, then you'll have all your items back; you'll never see anyone alike them again."

Silver was normally very helpful to Frey mostly because she was a child who did not have the stamina of a full grown adult and he made it far easier to keep up with her job partner's. Rune never liked falling behind very much, maybe because the last time she wasn't good enough to keep up she had lost her original home. Anyway's it was not that important, she was here right now with Mura doing their job as mages. "It might, but he'd have to find a secondary source of the scent before he focused on finding the main trail back to them." while his kind were good at tracking? They needed to have enough of the scent stored in their nose to match to what they encountered, a rune wolf was not like some common dog, memory scents took longer to form.

"I don't exactly care what made it, the ash here should be enough for Silver to track." the little girl mounted onto the wolf once more, but she was positioned different from normal. Instead of casually sitting on him like how one rode a horse? She had her body pressed flush against his back and her leg's hugging his flanks, hands tightly in his mane. The mage had never really had a partner when she told Silver to track before. "As a warning, silver can teleport up to 15 meters and may do so while he does this." he often made use of his teleportation when tracking something down, it narrowed the distance between him and his target, she did not want this to take Mura by surprise.

"I'm going to give him the command now Mura." she gave the last warning, patting the wolves head as she breathed carefully, their breathing syncing together so she could make sure he was completely calm and ready. Encase they only had one shot at tracking this scent? She wanted to make sure he would be able to do it the right way "Silver." she got his attention quickly, urging him to go stand in front of the ash. This was where her partner might start to doubtt her, cause the wolf looked confused. "Search. No hunting." and yes the second part was required because if she just said Search chances happened to be he would consider what he found to be a threat and start hunting it without waiting for a second command otherwise.

All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey] Empty Re: All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey]

Post by Mura Kensho 9th January 2017, 12:39 pm

There was no doubt. The lady was quite troubled with these burglars, and the entire town must’ve been most likely. Trying his best to keep her calm, he looked at Frey. One could definitely see that because of her changed figure, she had to change things with the wolf and other stuff; for instance, her sitting position turned out to look more like that she was hugging a pillow of rune wolf. It was quite weird, but hey; Frey didn’t ask for any of that change, in which he would stay polite. Besides, the rune wolf and her had a strong bond; as if a little height would change that at all?

“Awesome. That means that we can track them down now, right?” he assured them, in which Frey gave a warning about Silver being capable of teleporting. That was a distant ability for the shaman, but nonetheless a very useful and splendid one. Kyuken sat beside miss Zoe, trying to comfort the delicate woman himself, convinced of his handsome appearance and aura that makes everyone happy. In fact, she could barely see him with those eyes of an ordinary human, no mage nor soothsayer wore those eyes. As Mura’s and Zirconis’ eyes darted towards Frey, awaiting her next command, a mere silence took over a few moments later after the name was spoken. Another few moments went with the two spiritual beings looking at Frey and Silver, until question marks erupted. Was it working? Did they need more tracks? “So-“ he was about to ask out, but before he got the chance to, she was on it with another command. Frey appeared ready to go, in which Mura nodded towards the busy samurai ghost to come up to him. As the blue spirit ball arrived on top of his shoulder, he looked at miss Zoe. “We’re going now. Silver’s just got the scent of their possible location,” he informed her, “We’ll go and bring them down. Stay safe, and don’t go out of the house until we return.” He then made it towards Frey, nodding as he was ready to follow her spirit’s sudden disappearance.

Nothing could change the bond between Frey and Silver, of course if one of them died it would be a slightly different bond, but that would never happen... Right? The two were close and that was about what one could say, they were so close it was impossible to separate them and any future boyfriend would have trouble finishing the deed without getting himself murdered by her faithful protector. Hopeful that would not be something that happened for many years though, however adult things could be her concern soon, there was no way to know if she would start aging normally or if her magic would keep causing her physical form to age with her power!

Frey and Silver were already several meters away, the wolf running with the little girl on his back, his muzzle pressed into the ground. It took a little while, but eventually the scenery started changing to a different part of the town, one that looked as if it could be used as a hide out for criminals. Once they got this far, the wolf slowed down, letting out a low whine and bearing his teeth, letting Frey know he had found someone. The little girl nodded slightly and glanced behind her to see if Mura was right behind her or not. "There's someone in the building in front of us, someone who was at the robbery." she spoke the words, and slid of his back, encase it was time to fight, eating another earth cookie that she had brought with. "Mura why don't you go in first, I'll watch the window's out here and Silver will check for a back exit, than we'll join you inside if you get the enemy cornered there." the little girl made the suggestion, glancing down to the wolf at her side. Hopefully Mura was alright with this plan. "Silver, this is capturing only." the little girl spoke up once more, explaining to her rune wolf that he could not kill people on this mission. Clearly the wolf was not too pleased with her choice, because in his mind if he did not kill an enemy, they could turn around kill his precious mistress.

All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey] Empty Re: All-Clear Detectives [Job | Mura & Frey]

Within what looked like a flash disappearing from view, Frey and her wolf faded into wherever the scent led them to. He and Kyuken looked at each other, before they both eyed at the green dragon spirit. Its own eyes eyed back on them, not knowing what their discreet idea was to now. “… So, are you going to-“ the dragon was about to suggest, before getting himself launched towards the place that the Dragon Slayer’s energy felt like emitting from. A rather battlecry-like scream could be heard from Zirconis’ opened mouth, while Mura and Kyuken phased through walls to meet Frey at the destined location.

His feet quickly made it to the place in the outskirt of the city where Frey was waiting for him. “Nice! You found the place pretty quickly,” he spoke to her. Where they stood at was in front of this harbor-place that spread out ‘here we hide, police’ to the young ghost mage. They would most likely not expect any intruder with that confidence, huh? That only made things more easy for Mura and Frey as she suggested for him to enter first. She would have to cover him from the window in case if he either got most of the enemies inside cornered or if he lost terrain. He slowly nodded back to Frey before nodding to Zirconis. The dragon ghost knew of his intention and smiled with bloodthirst as they both charged in…

“HAHA! Would you look at this stash!?” a robber would shout out as he entered the building. The others laughed, while a few of them rebuked the other idiots for shouting out loud. “Can’t you shut your damn ass cheeks for once when you go out? They’re still people passing by nearby..!” the few ones spoke back, making others sweat as it was alike suicide to reveal their location like that. They barely noticed the entered Mura and his green spirit ball who sought for the ‘stash’ that they specifically mentioned right now. The rebuked group would quickly throw the sack of jewels into a pit that lead to an underground dumpster that they used as chest room. “We should get down there…” he quietly spoke to Zirconis. His feet slowly sneaked towards the opening that was like a coaster, in which he jumped down and found himself in a completely dark room. He couldn’t sense anything in his spirit form due to the pitch-black atmosphere and no signs of life. He could bring one of the torches from the first floor, but… that would mean confronting the others.

    “*cough* It’s the poliiiiiiiiiiiiice-”
he roared out from the opening to those who could now hear his low-toned voice, in which chaos quickly spread across the burglars- “OH, WAIT A SECOND!” the oldest one spoke up. He was garbed in white and pointed his staff towards the shaman. “Is that what you call an officer? A Rune Knight, whatsoever?! Hell no..!” When the others saw that the voice came from a troll-faced shaman, then their confidence quickly made its way back. Battlecries engulfed the room as they all decided to slaughter the finder of their secret hideout. As Mura’s and Zirconis’ faces became even with each other, the shaman spoke: “Zirconis! Fuse with me!” The dragon leaked in, his green, signature aura engulfing Mura’s skin like a fog that covers the lands. Soon, his arms, chest and face was covered in small fragments of scales that formed plates of dragon skin on the middles of his body parts, but that would all soon fade away as a clenched knuckle found itself on a burglar’s face. Teeth, stains of blood and black marks surrounded the air between the two body parts, while Mura’s fist was covered with a thick layer of jade. It all broke by the impact, revealing the impact’s massive force. Others became frustrated and charged despite the scene, in which Mura leaped from the right leg and spun his body to the side as if he was spinning like a log, before he landed the same foot on another dude’s head. The ground cracked open by the attack, having green emeralds erupt from nowhere that changed the battle scene…
