Alistaire is basically the worst result you could probably get when spoiling a child for 18 years and always giving them a maid/servant or two that did anything for him. All he had to do was enjoy his childhood, which he did by being an awful attention-seeking little brat. Unlike others, he was (and still is) talentless. All he's good at is playing around with his father's murder machines, complaining about not being fed, and getting distracted by cute animals. His parents were aiming to create a polite, loyal child, but they sadly created a monster.
The first thing most people notice about Alistaire is his childish nature. He doesn't act like a 25 year old at all, and is really irresponsible. Not only is he desperately searching for love, he's also overconfident and can often come off as rude. Despite doing his best to be more mature, he's having some problems.
Another one of his many flaws is his short fuse. It doesn't take a lot to make the "adult" lose his temper, and to just go berserk. Just crack a joke or two about his height, make fun of his hair or his appearance in general, talk about his stupidity, talk about his desperate search for love, etc. The list is long and grows larger every day.
Alistair also suffers from a disease called recklessness, a disease he's been battling for so many years. He just can't help it that he tends to forget consequences are actually a thing, so he often gets himself in relatively bad situations. He has been trying to stop himself from being so careless, but when he's mad (which he is about 80% of the time) his brain doesn't really function.
Flaw number 2687: Clumsiness! As a wielder of a very.. explosive requip, being a clumsy person isn't exactly the most useful thing to be. It isn't uncommon for the "adult" to trip over air or something among those lines. Luckily, he's become a master at falling, so he knows how to take a fall and receive the least amount of pain. A very useful skill!
Flaw number 6962: Alistaire can get really jealous. Whenever he sees someone that has something he wants but can't have, he will turn into a bitter young man and just straight up start hating that person. Especially when it comes to relationships, Alistaire can get really jealous.
Last but not least, his insecurity. It's not uncommon for someone to hide their insecurities by acting like they're the best person walking on earth. His overconfidence and occasional rude comments act as a way to protect himself from things he sees as harmful, even though they might not even be dangerous.
Despite being a walking charm of misfortune and problems, Alistaire obviously does have own some good traits as well. He's a very caring guy that's really protective over the ones he cares about, and he will get very mad if anyone attempts to harm them. He's also a hard worker who won't give up the moment some obstacles appear on his path to success. He loves to be around others and is usually very supportive towards his friends and family.
Over the past 3 years or so, Alistaire has been making an attempt at turning himself into a better person. He doesn't always want to be reliant of others, which is why he has dumped the bodyguards that were sent with him by his parents, and has been learning all kinds of useful skills (like cooking) to help himself.~
Whenkicking ass fighting:
When it comes to fighting, Alistaire is serious but really reckless. He tends to not think before acting, especially when being taunted by the enemy. This flaw has made him get into many bad situations, but luckily his magic has been adapted to aid him when he messes up.
Alistaire's magic provides him with barely any defense, so he purely relies on offense to keep himself safe. This is why he's always directly in the face of his enemy, because he knows that he has to land the first hit and take them out before they can turn the tables on him.
Alistaire doesn't really see himself as a leader or follower, but would be a little more comfortable as a follower. Though he likes to act like he can take on anything, he would rather not have too much responsibility. He doesn't like being told what to do (and probably won't listen), but in a serious situation he will swallow his pride and do as he's told.
Likes:
-Heavy weaponry: Things like bazooka's, cannons, tanks, etc. are things that he loves deeply. The sound of an explosion is like music to his ears!
-Jewels: There's nothing bad to say about jewels, they're just amazing! Alistaire obviously loves to have a big amount of jewels so he can purchase anything he desires.
-Fighting: In some way, having a physical fight is kind of refreshing. It's the easiest way to release some of his anger so he can actually function properly.
Dislikes:
-Chickens: They taste nice, but they aren't nice when they're alive. They have ugly legs, ugly feathers, ugly eyes and ugly beaks. Chickens are often really aggressive towards the poor guy, even when he's trying to be nice.
-Losing: His pride and confidence takes a big hit when he loses after talking smack about how strong he is. It just feels really bad man.
-Overconfident people: There is only room for one cocky personality. He really dislikes people who act like they're better than they really are.Dirty hypocrite

-His brother: Alistaire's brother actually has a good job and a good personality, which makes him a threat in Alistaire's eyes. Seeing him makes him realizes how much of an annoyance he really is.

The spoiled boy tends to lean towards more simple attire. A simple black tank top accompanied with a checkered blouse, black pants, and a red scarf is his usual way to go, but he can switch his attire whenever he wants thanks to his magic.
