The city of Era. A vast landscape that had hundreds, if not thousands of buildings of varying sizes across its acres. It was a place that Ahmoria had never been to, nor had ever really dreamed of coming to a place as large as this. However, it was an amazement to her eyes nonetheless; a wonder that she couldn't exactly explain to those who had already visited it. She had a sense of awe overwhelming her, and while she was here for a rather daunting task, she wanted to sight-see more than anything else. One could call Mori a tourist of Era, a person who was foreign to its ways and was only there to see what it had to give. Her main thought wasn't the press conference that she was meant to attend and slaughter every living being there. No, her main thought was to look at all the flower shops and all the plants that the massive city had to offer her.
Yet, as much as she longed to see everything that there was in Era, she did not budge from her place beside Sol. She remained alongside him so not to be lost in place that had streets at every corner and alleys between every buildings. Even Romaham, her, essentially, guard dog, remained at her side, its hackles raised, swinging its eyeless head from side-to-side. It was breathing in every scent that came its way, trying to take in any scents that would prove harmful to its master. More so, Romaham occasionally circled around Sol and Ahmoria as they traversed the sidewalks of the great city. Its nose reached out toward a few citizens, scaring them off as it tried to breathe in their scents as they walked by. From time to time, Ahmoria had to slightly bend down and shoo Romaham away from the passersby that didn't like the sight of it.
Mori let out a longing sigh and wove her arm through Sol's, keeping in stride with him as they headed through town. Their goal and the sole reason they had come to Era was not to be tourists, especially with the status they held. It was their goal to attend a press conference that was being held near the capital building of the great city of Era. Attending that press conference was mandatory if they wanted to succeed on the job that they had been tasked to do. That job? Sol and Ahmoria were given the go-ahead by a group of mysterious workers known as the Black Blood Brotherhood. They were meant to bring down the important figures that would be attending the press conference, and to murder all those who attended. Everything they did at that press conference had to be on camera though, so it wasn't like they could do it behind the scenes.
Perhaps it was to gain more attention from the public's eye, as that had been the goal of the Black Blood Brotherhood from the start. They were a small town group that didn't get much of anything from those they tormented and tried to get attention from. In fact, it appeared to her that these men were struggling a bit to become the terrorists they wanted to be in Fiore. Enough so that they had sent out fliers of varying ranks for all dark magi to look at and hope they would help them with. Luckily enough, it just so happened that Sol and she had been looking at one of those fliers for a job to do together. Now, the only thing that Ahmoria prayed for was that the job would be an easy one and they would get out unharmed. With a newly established relationship with her coworker, she didn't want to and certainly didn't plan to lose him anytime soon.
She, herself, didn't matter in her mind, as long as her "puddin'" would be safe from the harm this job posed for them. After all, she was a plant demoness, her body could withstand a lot of the damage that humans tried to make. Besides, she also had Romaham, a companion that she had ever since she had been born; a gift from her home forest. He had stuck by her side through thick and thin, even through the blazing heat and the shivering cold of the seasons. Nothing bad had ever happened to it and she hoped and prayed that things would continue to go its way for it. To see harm befall her trusted companion would not only break her heart, but would leave her devastated for what was to come. And to see harm befall the one she was slowly falling in love with, that was just as devastating as losing Romaham.
They were her family; her home.
Sol's voice broke through her thoughts and she looked to the sleek and slender man that she clung to with both arms. Her green optics studied his features closely for a moment, then dropped to the cement sidewalk they were walking on. "Yes, I pray that this mission goes our way; we wouldn't want any of those dastardly humans getting away from us, now would we?" she responded to him. She brought her gaze back up to his and gave him a sly grin, one that was toothy and showed off her demonic teeth. One thing that the two of them had in common was that of their wish to rid the world of the pests known as humans. Perhaps it was through this common goal that Ahmoria found herself taking a liking to and growing feelings for this man. Whatever that reason was though, she would do what it took to make sure that goal, for the both of them, was achieved.
"How far is the building, do you know?" Mori inquired, squinting her eyes a little to see if she could spot the building in the distance. Then again, she didn't know what the building looked like from the start, let alone where they were even supposed to be in Era.
