Getting the passport! [Completed]

Ah, Camile could not believe that she did not go on this mission sooner. It was one of the easiest jobs posted on the board, and it was practically mandatory for travel to other job locations she could go to. She had really limited her options by waiting so long, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to any of her guildmates that she had only done jobs near Rose Garden. Her face flushed a hot pink as she thought about all the different ways in which she had screwed this up.

She was making one mistake after another recently. Part of that had to do with her being new to this life though. You had to figure out everything that everyone around you already knows, and thinks is obvious. Like that you shouldn’t enter an Inn screaming. ...Okay that one might have been common sense, but when you advertise yourself as a Wizard Guild you are going to get a few zealots to visit you. It’s not really rocket science, there was no notice about who would and wouldn’t be in the Inn! OUCH

Talking to herself may not have been the best option in a crowded place like Rose Garden. She had slammed right into the woman in the back of the line of the guy handing out passports. The line was much shorter than it had been a few days ago when she walked past it to check out what was wrong with the shore. Soon she would be able to go on more jobs in other areas. One in particular stood out about killing Undead in the Cursed Lands. After she got this passport, she could head over there to stick it to them. She smiled, reminiscing about rumors that you could get a special weapon if you killed enough of them. It’s not that she, as a Re;Quip mage had any shortage of weapons, but the more swords you have the merrier. And to be fair, one of her favourites did not really bare a particularly brandished sword. Using this Cursed weapon would go well with it.  

NEXT! Ah, once again the mundane action of waiting in a line had given rise to her imagination. The poor girl had not even realized that she had been standing there so long that every other person hoping to get a passport had left. She blushed one last time before rushing to the booth. Imagine what would have happened if he hadn’t said anything. She might have just stood there all day, thinking about everything she’d do once she had a passport, wasting time, and needing to see if this was offered again tommorow. Lost n’ thought back there missy? The man smiled as he offered her a passport. Ah, thank you kind sir. I have a tendency to do that, sorry. Camile’s voice was soft and apologetic. It seemed that she was making mistake after mistake recently. At that moment, she spoke a silent vow to herself. On Sephirot’s honor, Camile would make sure to be a reputable knight, fit for service. The man smiled as the slip of paper exchanged between their hands, and Camile proudly strutted off back to Silver Moon Inn to collect her earnings.
