Small idea to add how many additional slots you can buy for primary in spoiler for it in shop. No indication really and was a blind guess to where at in rules.

It can easily be found in the magic rules on the second post. If people don't know it's there, then they clearly didn't read the rules.

Re: Number of Additional Slots.
Though it might be good to have a link to it in the shop if its not already there.
Though as we're talking slots perhaps we could talk about spell slots for secondary magic.
What if the maximum number of purchaseable slots stays the same but it can be purchased between primary and secondary.
So right now I think its 6 D ranks you can buy, but these all have to be primary. This seems a bit meh when someone might want to expand their secondary a bit.
So what if you could use those 6 but on either magic. So 3 on each, or even 6 on secondary. If this is seen as too much because 'secondary magic is meant to be less of a focus' then make it so each slot costs two. That way you could at most have three extra slots on your secondary.
That being said I think it should also be possible to combine spell slots of lower rank to gain extra slots at higher rank, but you permanently sacrifice those slots.
So rather than 6 extra D rank slots and 4 C rank (this is me hazarding a guess at the numbers as I can't remember 100%) you could instead have 4 D rank and 5 C rank or something.
This gives a bit of variety and stops the site feeling like it has such concrete limitations.

Re: Number of Additional Slots.
I personally think we get way too many spells as it is. I think the addition of secondary magic or even spell fusion is generous enough. While more slots in secondary magic would be nice, it isn't necessary as it's supposed to just be an addition to your current primary magic. I think how Secondary magic is is perfectly fine as is.

Re: Number of Additional Slots.
Secondary magic doesn't have to be an extension of your primary though. It can just be a second magic your character decided to explore. Limiting it to five spells seems a bit meh. The amount of spell slots wouldn't actually change (in fact it might even go down depending on how this is implemented). It would more just allow a little bit more versatility. Then again we can gain extra secondary slots by giving up weapon/armor slots so there is that I suppose.
Still worth thinking about to give the site a little bit more flexibility over concrete set things.

Re: Number of Additional Slots.
A primary magic is something that the character learns first, therefore it should be stronger and more defined in its number of spells, which is why it has more spells than a secondary.
The number of spells in a secondary magic may not add on to the original magic, but they are extra spells that the mage has learned to expand on their magical variance. As it is not the characters first ever magic it is reasonable that they wouldn't have as many spells for it.

Re: Number of Additional Slots.
Yes, but the fact they can't ever expand on their secondary magic except by sacrificing weapon/armor slots seems a bit meh to me.
I agree the primary magic should be the focus which is why I initially suggested a 2 for 1 pricing for secondary spell slots.
So you get 6 D rank slots you can purchase overall. You can either put these all on your primary or you could spend some on your secondary e.g. Spend 2 D rank spell slots to gain one D rank secondary slot.
It just promotes a bit more variety in builds rather than 'I can use 35 regular spells and 2 signature spells from this magic and 5 regular spells and 1 signature from this magic'
This seems a bit too heavily weighted on primary imo.
However, 2 for 1 doesn't quite work as well as I thought as shown below.
If we allow for secondary slots to be purchased as suggested (so 2 for 1) then we get at most (going by rank)
6 unique abilities primary and 2 unique ability secondary
4 D rank primary + 1 sig and 4 D rank secondary
4 C rank primary and 3 C rank secondary
3 B rank primary vs 3 B rank secondary
4 A rank primary vs 2 A rank secondary
2 S rank primary +1 sig vs 2 S rank secondary + 1 sig
Which is 6 unique + 17 spells + 2 sig primary vs 2 unique + 14 spells + 1 sig secondary
This balance is perhaps a tad to close to them being equal so the numbers might not be quite adequate.
Or at H:
7 Unique ability primary and 3 unique ability secondary
5 D rank primary + 1 sig and 4 D rank secondary
5 C rank primary and 3 C rank secondary
4 B rank primary vs 3 B rank secondary
5 A rank primary vs 2 A rank secondary
3 S rank primary + 1 sig vs 2 S rank secondary + 1 sig
1 H rank primary vs 0 H rank secondary
We now have
7 unique + 23 spells + 2 sig vs 3 unique + 14 spells + 1 sig
This seems again a bit too equal with only a 9 spell, 1 sig and 4 unique ability difference.
---------------
It may instead be worth making it a 3 to 1 ratio for secondary slots.
So 3 D rank slots = 1 D rank secondary slot.
Perhaps limit it so that they can only be purchased once SS has been hit to make the rank a bit more desireable and meaningful.
-----------------
That being said there is no real need for this I just like to encourage freedom of creativity.

Understood. I might look into it to see what can be done.
