    Song:

"All right everyone, let's do this."He would whisper to the Talonia orchestra at the fountain. There would be a group of people waiting for the performance to start, showing that they were eager to listen to the music. Elyx was a special conductor, being from the Lerale tribe and his music being spread recently, they deemed the orchestra to be honored rather than himself. While he was not too sure about that, he was sure that this group of musicians were very well taught for sure, he was glad to even be given the chance to do this. So he would raise his baton, and all the string instruments would break rest position. A small silence, barely even a whisper in the crowd before he then lowered the baton, starting the piece.

The piece had come to an end eventually, resulting in a successful performance. An Overture it was indeed. With that done, he would place the baton down and turn to the audience before bowing to them formally. His work had been done, and he had a little bit more to do in the following few days. But while he was having a vacation in Talonia, it would be best to have some form of rest along with it as well. So flicking his right palm out, he would dismiss the orchestra and allow them to carry on their days with their original conductor. As for Elyx, where would he be going?

Elyx would proceed to walk through as much of the crowd as he could, doing his best to not accidentally bump into them, unfortunately failing at least once or twice. However, he eventually found himself stuck in the middle, due to them not allowing him to leave. "May I please-"Cutoff as some of the audience demanded him more performance, as if he had been the one to play the strings. While he could, he was rather bothered when forced to play. He did it for fun, and no more

"Sorry everyone, but my answer is no for now. I need to rest for a little- Cut once again as they began to complain. It took a lot of restraint to deal with such entitled people, but he was not going to bother with that. Instead, he would move back towards the fountain he conducted on... Right before leaping off of there with as much leg strength as he could, landing on the roof of a local shop in the town, alone for a little bit at least. They probably should not bother him up there.

But now while he was in the town, he was not quite sure what to even do there. He didn't mind talking to people, as long as they were not trying to choke a song out of him. Besides, rarely any mages climbed up to the roof anyways, so the brunette felt like he was going to be there alone for a while. Hey, that was not so problematic, but that left him rather curious as to what a man could even do in Talonia.

And while you are sitting indoors

I will be outside dancing in the rain

'Rarely any mages climbed up to the roof'. What a silly statement. Well, a silly statement to anyone who wasn't a weirdly obsessive student.
She had seen his performance, of course. Was there a performance of his she hadn't seen? Well, maybe. While she did try and catch every single one there was of course going to be a few she could not attend for one reason or another. But seeing as this one was a little special she had snuck out of the guild to follow him to it. She didn't know if he knew she was there. While trying her best to stay hidden and out of sight in fear of him or random civilians seeing her and ruining the experience she was... Well... Bad at sneaking. She had fallen quite a few times, most of them being completely over nothing. And the others, just accidentally running into people, some of which who had been her own fans, though were quickly shut up with autographs before they could make noise.
Even with all that, she still made it in time to watch from the shadows with bright eyes, as to not cause a scene at the god slayer's event. It was brilliant. Of course it was brilliant. It always was. This was Elyx, her teacher. Every one of his performances was the best, each one topping the other. Totally worth sneaking around and the couple of bruises she earned while doing so.
After it was over, the crowd complained for more, to which the Lerale declined. He was probably exhausted, she didn't blame him. After every one of her own she was also exhausted. Sometimes it was just impossible to do more. At their continuing complaints Elyx jumped up to a nearby roof, obviously growing tired of their complaining.
This would have been the time where she went home. But honestly, what was the fun in that? She had come all the way here to see him. Why stop now? Rather, the guild master had another idea in mind.
In a flash of silver light the slayer would disappear and reappear right behind the man, not wasting a second to try and tackle hug him from behind, wrapping her arms around him maybe a little too tight. "Surprise!"

It was a rare occasion should Hikari ever be able to attend an orchestra, so this one in Talonia was making her excited. She smiled as her small side ponytail bobbed with most of the steps that she took. As she took her seat, she looked at the program for the evening. It had certainly been a while, she smiled as she mindlessly read the list. She was curious as to if any of the composers she had seen before were still present with the show about to be played. But her heart stopped when she saw the name of the guest composer. Elyx Reiaki? He was a household name for classical music. She had been a huge fan of his music when she was growing up and she only found out recently that she was apparently older than him. The boy was a prodigy when it came to magic and music and he accomplished both at such a young age. He was what Hikari aspired to be as a musician and a mage. Kind and powerful. She got comfortable in her seat because even if she was excited, he was the one who was conducting the very last song. Probably as a grand finale or something of the sort. She got lost in the music and time seemed have flown by until the current conductor walked off and the brunette male walked onto stage. Hikari sat up in her seat as she had slouched in her chair as she prepared to hear Elyx's conducting. When the music started, it felt different. It was as though that the change of conductors was more than a simple walk off stage. It felt like everything had changed in the world around here. Elyx was so into the music and Hikari was moved as a result of it. It was a magical moment as she felt the world around her fade as she simply saw nothing more than herself, the young conductor and the orchestra that he was guiding. If Hikari didn't believe in magic before, this moment would have her believe it now.

Hikari smiled as she clapped as the song ended. It was a long song but the time seemed to vanish within an instant and it made her sad to think about it that way. But she knew how demanding conducting could get and was glad that Elyx was able to come out and be willing to conduct. She looked around in somewhat disbelief, as the audience seemed to demand for more music. It was awkward because it was clear that Elyx didn't really want to conduct anymore and Hikari's heart felt a little sad that the audience was treating him that way. It hurt her a little bit to see. She sighed as she watched him leave in a hurry. She was not very surprised when he literally just jumped away from the situation and looked as he faded due to the distance he jumped away. Deciding that this would probably be the last time she would ever see the man, she decided not to chase him as he looked like he wanted a little alone time. After all, he was out of site at this point.

Hikari had decided to treat herself and went to a cafe in order to get some assorted desserts from there as she wanted to share some for her guild mates. Hikari had made an effort into hiding her guild mark even if she wanted to wear it with pride because it still was a dark guild. She was walking around with the treat bags in hand, wondering what was happening with Elyx as she looked at the moon, still hearing the orchestra playing as if the audience was still forcing them. As her eyes gazed to the rooftop, she noticed a figure standing over the buildings. After squinting for a minute, she saw that it was Elyx. She clutched the treat bags closer to her chest as she thought about whether she should approach him or not. It was a good moment of internal struggle and some passerby even had to make sure she was okay. After they had left, she nodded, creating a stairway of magic circles leading up to the roof. She finally had made it to the roof when she looked at Elyx's back, facing away from her. She opened her mouth to speak, but the words didn't seem to come out. It was odd. She never usually felt this flustered in her life, but of course she did when she was trying to talk to some guy who doesn't know her. It makes it look like some awkward love confession. But, she managed to speak out, "Ummm, h-hi Mister Reiaki... I was wondering if you were okay after tonight's guest performance," Hikari stumbled over her words as she tried to think of what to say. This was getting to her. She was never usually this self concious as she slowly made her way closer to Elyx. "I've been a singer my entire life and... you inspired me to do so many things like become a mage and a musician. That I wanted to thank you..." She held out one of the treat bags in offering to the brunette, "I was wondering if this could repay all the inspiration and hope you have given me throughout the years...?" Hikari felt like she was 15 years old again and didn't like a second of it. She never realized meeting your childhood idol was this hard. For Pete's sake, she was older than the boy! But she couldn't deny the dedication he had to get to his position in the first place. She smiled at the boy awkwardly, hoping he doesn't think too far into why she is talking to him. It failed to dawn on the enchanter that there was another white haired girl there. Hikari's face turned beet red as she thought about how silly that must have looked to the other girl there... Who was the other girl there anyways? When did she get there? She seemed to know Elyx but perhaps she came when that flash of light blinded her for a moment. Hikari turned her gaze, hoping to hide the blush on her face from the situation at hand.

A sudden magic presence would be caught in his magic sensory, his eyes shifting to the side to look over his shoulder. However, no on had been where he thought he felt the magic. Turning around, a sudden familiar snow-haired Guild Master would pop out of nowhere and give him a hug. It was a rather forceful hug, considering he had to firmly lock his feet to the ground to prevent the both of them from sliding or falling. Looking down, he would notice that it was indeed Astrid, a student of his. In response to her hug, he would chuckle lightly as he placed his palm on her head, ruffling her hair a little bit. "Hey there to you too. Seems like you got me." The brunette would then feel a second presence of magic, though not as strong as the one that his student was able to emit. Still however, there was enough strength for it to be caught, and so he would divert his attention to her after releasing the hold on him.

There stood in front of the both of them a strawberry-haired lady, who seemed to have her attention directed towards him. She had a formal form of attire on her being, making a great impression on him already as he himself grew up with Lerale Blood on him. They were naturally formal and liked seeing others mimic such a thing. Her tone however did not seem as confident as she had dressed, and unfortunate trait, but no one could have everything. The first question asked was about his condition after the guest performance. He would let out a nervous laugh as he scratched the back of his head. "Heh... I can say I have had better outcomes." But his eyes would remain on her now, confident once again after that small moment of humility. "But I appreciate your concern, glad to know there is respect in the music industry." It was like a refreshing breeze for him, as the competition was brutal, and the audience usually thirsted for music whenever it was not in their position to do so.

Oh? I'm glad to hear that.... Miss... He was trying to obtain her name at least, if he really did have a fanbase, he would very much rather be close to them. After all, it was not everyday he was able to see them. The final approach the polite lady made was a bag with what he could assume had consumables inside. His body was immune to pain anyways, and any form of trap would have been sensed by now if there was one. So he would accept the bag, looking into it to find a certain few delightful surprises in there. Ch-Chocolate... His voice cut off with a whisper, his eyes widening. It has been so long... "Astrid, here, have a piece... This is chocolate! His favorite treat, he could not remember the last time he had it. He would place the bag between both him and Astrid before plucking a little caramel roll from the inside. Without hesitation, he would bite into the sticky sweet treat, his voice letting out a satisfied "Mmmmmmm". "I love chocolate... Thank you so much Miss...?

The Way It Used To Be [Open/Social] Empty Re: The Way It Used To Be [Open/Social]

Post by Leila Vergious 28th March 2017, 7:14 pm

Talonia was one of those places that Leila did not visit very often. For what reason, she herself did not quite know. She was a wanderer, but perhaps the life in guild made her more comfortable staying in one place, despite the guild being filled with treasure hunters. Well, whatever the true reason for not being her more was, she did not really care at the moment. After all, she was here now. Sitting on a simple chair by equally simple white folding table, a small cup of tea placed on it. One of the many shops that were around the square with a lovely fountain. She wasn't here quite alone either, as a small furred and pure white creature rested atop the girl's left shoulder, his big black eyes closed for the moment. If Ori were to be anything like the rest of his kind, she would be engulfed in the melody of snores by now. But instead, the muffled sound of an orchestra accompanied her tea time. She knew it was going to happen ahead of time, but she was not quite interested in fighting over a better spot where the people performing would actually be visible. Yes, listening to the sounds that danced on the wind was more than enough for her.

And yet, that was not the full reason for her to be here either. For there was someone trying to spy on a dear ex-master of her guild, so in turn she would spy on the sneaky snow white princess herself to close the circle. She had never interacted with Astrid too much, so she hoped that she could fix that sometime soon. But alas, that girl had her own world of duties and delights, seemingly completely separate from the one the Eden's spirit lived in. With a sigh, she would take the cup and take another sip. Rose tea. It's flavor was certainly unique, hard to describe if someone was to ask how it tasted. But she liked it. And as she placed the piece of porcelain back atop the café's table, the melody stopped. Only the song of other people talking and shouting over one another would remain as a blurred shadow jumped out of the crowd and landed on the roof. It wouldn't take too long before more would join him on that rooftop, a smaller crowd that he was probably way more comfortable with. He too was a mystery to Leila.

They never properly interacted ever since he managed to convince her to join his guild. And now that guild wasn't even quite his. Time truly did change things around and only while seeing all of it with her own eyes did the silver haired maiden realize just how much she lost when her body decayed and withered away, her soul restrained in eternal darkness and solitude of death. They would laugh and talk, while she remained sitting alone, only kept company by the small beast that had woken up and jumped onto the table, tugging onto his owner's fingers with his paws in playful manner. "I'm fine, Ori. But if you want to go greet them yourself, go ahead." The creature would nod and jump away from the girl, running across the stone street until it would find a suitable pipe to climb. And like the nimble devil he was, it took but seconds for him to get atop the roofs and stare at the trio from distance, it's big round eyes reflecting light that illuminated the scene.

    Ori:

And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass

Releasing her teacher from the tight embrace she would lean into his hand when he ruffled her hair, giving him a bright grin. She probably hadn't surprised him as much as she wanted to. He was H-rank after all. Most likely he sensed her from a mile away, or was at least somewhat aware of her presence the entire time. But it didn't faze the snowy haired girl one bit, the surprise wasn't what she was looking for. It was honestly more for the attention she would receive afterwards, which in this case, ended up being a small pat to her head. Even with a small thing like that she was satisfied nonetheless. Any sort of attention from her mentor was enough, no matter what it ended up being.
But it seemed as though they would not be alone for long. After the guild master settled back down from her hug another presence emerged behind them. Not as strong as Elyx or herself, but still decently leveled. Purple eyes turned with her head and stared at the girl in front of them, the first thing catching her eyes being the red hair that flowed down the woman's face gracefully and matching colored eyes. She was rather prim and proper, almost like some sort of foreign princess. Even her stance and manner of speaking would easily rival her own, two things the slayer was constantly trying to uphold. The musician shuffled somewhat shyly behind Elyx, feeling suddenly embarrassed and self conscious that she was not able to be just as naturally graceful without a bit more effort. She listened carefully to the strange woman's words, surprised when her answer to the ex wizard saint for giving her inspiration was to give him baked goods. So this girl had also been inspired by the violinist, just like herself... Well, it was no surprise. His influence was grand and large, he was a household name. There were probably dozens more who were also influenced by him. But meeting another one of his fans in public... She had never been face to face with someone who admired him as much as she did. It was strange, but at the same time, a bit comforting.
Stopping her staring when Elyx placed the bag of goods between them wide orbs blinked once, stuffing her hand inside and pulling out a random sweet before plopping it in her mouth without seeing what it was. Chocolate. It was chocolate indeed. That sweet taste was unmistakable. A satisfied sound escaped her mouth, a small smile forming on her lips as she chewed. "Sweet" she commented through a mouth full of it. Although her favorite sweets were éclairs chocolate was fine too. Anything sweet was fine with her.

Hikari was pretty happy when Elyx took the treat bag. His eyes seemed to light up like a child and Hikari smiled at that. After all, he was human so of course there was things that he loved. So, it only makes sense that he had something he liked. Hikari's smile seemed to grow wider as he shared the treat he was given with the white haired girl that stepped out of the hug she was giving him. She seemed so proper and sophisticated as Hikari noticed her posture and the mannerisms she seemed to have. She chuckled when she saw that both of them had made the same face when they ate the sweets from the bag. The two seemed alike in some aspects so it made sense why they seemed to get along. Finding her calm place once again, Hikari realized that Elyx had tried to get the enchanter to say her name a couple of times while she was acting shyly. She was kind of zoning out to the conversation while she was trying to talk to Elyx and everything was coming back to her as she realized that he had said something. Hikari curtsied slightly and stated, "Once again, it's an honour to meet you, Mister Reiaki. My name is Hikari. Pleased to make your acquaintance." She stood up straight as she looked towards the white haired girl and smiled, gazing into her purple eyes, "Would I be able to ask of your name as well, Miss..?" Hikari smiled warmly at the girl. She seemed to have an air of happiness as well so it wasn't hard to keep smiling at the girl, even if she didn't know her. Only then Hikari noticed that the white haired girl had kind of hidden behind Elyx, seemingly intimidated by her presence. Hikari didn't know what to take of this because based on the magic power she felt, the girl was stronger than she was. She was probably more skilled as well but perhaps she was simply shy. She didn't want to really push the girl past her comfort zone and just knowing her name would be nice. After all, Hikari was a shy girl once as well unless she decided to force herself to meet new people.

There was a little silence while the pair in front of her munched on their newly acquired sweets until Hikari saw a small white creature, staring at them from a distance. She would have felt uncomfortable but the creature seemed to have no ill intent and Hikari smiled at it and waved, wondering what it was doing there at this time of day.

    Dusk Campfire
From the shadows, an evil creature with human body was stalking Elyx, the guild master of Golden Phoenix from afar. This creature was one of the clones from a dead member of Savage Skull, Dust Powderbreaker, created from her magic abilities. But this could be seen as another person entirely, carrying only the will and the objectives of her creator. The will and objective to maintain the balance between time and space, hunt down personnel with the potential to destroy the normality of the timeline and to have her obsession back. "So, this is the guild master of Golden Phoenix. However, I need confirmation that he is really the real thing..."

Obviously, she left a magic spell in execution at the proximity, fooling the detection of the guild master; he could find her if he tried to dissociate the power of the spell and her ether usage. As the theater was over, the girl followed the man from the slumbers, as she observed him climbing to the roof where he could achieve peace. "The roof, eh."

Dusk, the name of that mysterious girl, observed as some magic fluctuations went out of control all of sudden. This fluctuation had the same wavelength as some magicians from the A-Rank category, but it was hard to believe another high-ranking person besides the guild master was in the surroundings. Her theory soon came to its conclusion, with the appearance of another girl, besides the strawberry hair, teenage woman person right next to the stronger mages, bugging the target with some lovey-dovey bullshit. "This girl... what a powerful ether core... is she A-Rank? Also another? She seems very weak compared to the rest.."

"I will explode myself with Nuclear using her as the bait!!!"

With the dark mage preparing for a suicide attack against one of the most powerful in all of the kingdom, she was surprised by the appearance of a white-like cat creature before she could jump out of her hiding, and prepare for the blitzkrieg. Dusk could put Nuclear inside the creature, and use that chance to blow up everyone in a fabulous fashion that could bring the utter chaos in the name of Savage Skull. "There is a white creature is approaching them, it's my-"

    However...

    "Chimamire Sakura?!"

She already saw that similarity between wavelengths just by analyzing the one used by the "white cat", but her suspicion was confirmed just after Dusk placed her eyes into the owner; a fair complexion, blond hair, and the similarity of her appearance with that of a girl that another member of Savage Skull and the origin of Dusk, had fallen in love. "You are still alive? Or maybe, this girl has the same essence as you?!" However, she knew this was a coincidence. She buried the feelings and the existence of Dust inside her own psyche, suppressed and did everything to overpower it.

Dust had developed an enormous fear of abandonment after she didn't have any news about her love, killed herself after realizing she could never bring her back and created Dusk Campfire to search for her whereabouts. Anyone that remotely looked like Chimamire Sakura was to be her target, even if there is no similarity, spiritual or not.

Her inability to control emotions resulted in Dusk changing forms; she was in the body of a small girl with blue hair, but it changed to that of a voluptuous woman with short, purple hair and Spanish-style clothing. Reduced by her own instincts, Dusk did jump in the direction of Leila Vergious after confusing her appearance with that of another person and did try to hug her. "Sakura~~~~~!" She said that happily, even if the girl was not the right person.

The Way It Used To Be [Open/Social] Empty Re: The Way It Used To Be [Open/Social]

The first thing to occur was the sudden presence of an oddly familiar magic flow, his eyes shifting around to locate any being around them. Unfortunately, due to his scatered thoughts currently, not too much time would be invested in the quick scan. Still however, the fact that it was familiar was odd. It was not approaching him as of currently, so he planned to leave that part alone for now with one echoed thought left in his mind before fading away emptily. Why... Did I feel like I knew what that was? He thought before Astrid redirected his focus on her as she would then proceed to hide behind him. His head would tilt to the side, lips neutral and eyes dancing with curiosity.

"Hey Astrid, are you all right? He asked the Guild Master. It was more concern for a pupil rather than it was for his leader. While he did not technically run under the law of the guild control, he did guard those within it. The guild was like an actual phoenix to him. And for every feather ripped off the mythical being, he ripped off the source of it's pain from the face of the earth. It seemed like a decent payoff. In this case, Astrid just seemed a bit bothered with something. A little bit shallow and cautious, Elyx himself was unsure of why she was hiding. Well, at least she was able to enjoy a small chocolate for herself. It was the best remedy for any form of discomfort, no one should know that any better than him.

The lady in front of the both of them introduced herself as "Hikari". A name that meant light, an elegant name without a doubt. A light chuckle would emit from his lips as she continued to name him, Mr. Reiaki. During this time, he did not really hold any big titles. Personally, he was long done with that sort of thing, highly overrated and not at all worth anything. Nice to make your acquaintance as well. But please, call me Elyx. You seem like a nice girl. Were you on your way somewhere perhaps? If he was bothering her schedule somehow, he might as well make it up by doing something for her. It would only be fair, and his existence should not be able to cut anyone else's time. "My pupil here and I both play the violin. You are a singer? Perhaps we could both have a listen?"

A sudden exclamation would be heard a few moments later, for his slayer senses and heightened magic power allowed many things to be magnified. It took a long time for him to get used to the surrounding noises around him, but it eventually no longer became a pain for him. "Seems like someone is having fun over there. Astrid, care to come along with me? Could use a little more peace." And while he was not too sure of where he would like to go... He would rather have some peace with him. "Hikari, you can come along too if you have nothing else to do."

There weren’t that many people outside at this time. Shen noticed that when he crossed the streets, but it didn’t mind him at all. He was only here because that he saw some of his guildmates in a small vision from his cottage earlier, and boom, here he arrived. Honestly, he saw some things; a performance, chocolate, hugs… it left him with strains for what felt like an hour. After that experience, why waste such effort in searching for them? He couldn’t just ignore the idea and decided to take over to them, simply to watch their doings. His fellow mount was with him, Hēi, as loyal as ever to the young Dao. In the town, he decided to just walk on his feet and navigate Hēi along with him. His red eye was bandaged for now, so that it could get time to recover. "My uncle lives here... should I visit him, Hēi?" the boy asked. Not expecting a direct answer, he simply strived around, breathing in the silent air...

Turning up his gaze, he spotted them; the Sky Mage Elyx, the Guildmaster Astrid, another mage with cherry-flavored hair and a fourth figure with a living love for Leila. Totally unphased, he watched the scene with observant eyes that cared not to join them. They’re just busy, he thought while standing in the middle of the street, exposed due to the lack of crowds of people that were usually passing by these days. Hēi began neighing a little, happy to see the other guildmates, while Shen just wondered about their doings. He knew not of Elyx’ earlier performance or about the others’ reasons to be here. Heck, he even questioned his own business in this town at that moment.
