Personality:
Ember’s personality has been largely shaped by living and surviving out in the desert. To begin this means she is selfish to a degree. She is not likely to do something for the virtue of it, but rather if it helps her in some way. Lifestyle in a desert also teaches one to always improve and know timing. For ember this means she either likes to be fiddling on her possessions, her magic, or to get food. She also enjoys relaxation when she decides to, often trying to find the most comfortable stop when doing so. Life in the desert also leaves little room for doubt, so she is very confident in herself which has also made her competitive in some areas like her magic and how much one can eat.
Apart from her desert lifestyle ember has always been unafraid, not easily intimidated overall. This means that she is usually unafraid of what she says around people, and usually will do whatever she pleases unless their is enough reason not to do it,. However she also has a special interest in beings who consider themself important or all powerful, as she likes to poke fun at these types more. She will though avoid causing trouble if it’s absolutely clear they have enough bite to back up their bark so to speak. When angered or annoyed she is not afraid to express it physically, though she will have some hesitation against the feeble or frail. And while she is selfish, she will put herself aside if it means to care for those she consider her family, including admitting her faults if it means her family or those she consider family so they can avoid trouble.
In battle she is confident and sure, a natural, often going aggressively to put an end to the fight or to create a situation that would benefit her magic, not one to be easily fearful of the enemy even if they are stronger than her. She is capable of coming up with strategies that work well most of the time by quickly analyzing what is around her in her sight, however these strategies are always aggressive and fast or sudden and can be seen related to bandit tactics, incorporating her and only her use in the magic. Often ignoring other allies help or giving them little consideration in their effort to contribute in a fight. Not only because she only would have enough time to think of what she would do, but also she believes it would lessen the chance of others with her getting killed. Defense is not her strong point since she believes that, so as long she can avoid the hits and fight smart, she won’t need shields or barriers to assist her.
When fighting under a leader, she will only follow their orders if she truly trusts them. Otherwise she is likely to carry out her order with some deviating from the order, the less she trusts them the more deviation will occur. As a leader she will incorporate strategies that involve ambush or aggressive assaults, the closest to defense she will consider is to retreat farther back and reform to attack when the situation is more in her and the groups favor. But most of the time she will only be a leader if she has to, often enough she does not like the responsibility it comes with as she does not like to be the cause of the groups demise if something bad were to happen, as she only uses aggressive strategies to try and conserve the lives that are with her, for the kind of warfare she has been involved in left no time to defend, only attack and ambush. She is not likely to listen to suggestions unless they come from someone she truly trusts as a leader

-Water; finding an oasis in a desert is very rare and a blessing, so naturally she enjoys being in large bodies of cool water
-Food; Food in the desert is not as scarce as water, but it is still a relief to know you won't go hungry when you sleep. Ember likes spicy foods the best, but it doesn't mean she can always handle it.
-Using technology; technology in the desert is very handy in making your life easier, so she naturally likes using it and tinkering with it.
-Her possessions; The desert doesn't leave a lot of opportunities to hold on to things that are useful, let alone useless things. So naturally whatever she has and uses she will maintain and take care of it as best as she can.
-Family; family is important to be with, regardless if your in a desert or not.
-Going fast; Flying through the air or traveling quite fast to feel the wind in her hair is a joy to feel, and the desert often gave plenty of room to enjoy fast vehicles.
-A good bargain; you live in the desert, every piece of wealth counts, so naturally she likes the markets and bargains.
Dislikes:
-Becoming too responsible; Can she be responsible for her own actions? yes. Can she be responsible for enough people in a tribe? She will intervene and keep the peace when she needs to, but yes. Can she be responsible for a whole country of people? No, she would grow miserable about trying to tend to a countries needs eventually.
-Being cold; Their is a difference between the coolness of oasis water and the desert's nights were she likes both, and absolutely cold. Anything colder then both she will detest and stay away from.
-Wasteful people; The desert taught her that to waste necessities is to make others suffer, so she will make her point vocal if she see's it.
-Dishonest or treacherous people; she has met enough shifty desert merchants who'd sell you meat that was "Fresh" and bandits in disguise to not like the type.
-Having her possessions taken away; If you do this, expect her to retaliate fully and unmercifully, as she fought long and hard to get them and will not give them up.
-Being away from family for long periods of time; In her tribe people always traveled together when scavenging or hunting and were very close, and often if someone was gone for a long period of time then it was natural to assume they were dead or worse, which was often the case.
-Cause of distress for little to no reason; she is not to where she has a heart of stone, but she will give a person no sympathy if they cry, get angry, or distressed over a very little reason or they over-react on a very little situation.
-Cats; she is usually annoyed by their attitude of thinking they are the boss without any back-up reasoning, she also dislikes the idea about people being cats, this more for religious reasons
Motivations:
-To find and stay with her family; In her tribe their traditions revolved around how blood family was incredibly important to have in life, so she wants to go find the one’s she knows about and keep them safe if she can accept them
-To learn and expand on her magic; Ember was born with a magic that had been created by her, mixing teaching’s from her tribe’s traditions and her family line. So she is naturally wanting to see what are the limits of her magic.
-To not worry about water and food; The desert will keep your priorities focused on these two things but to not worry about them is a blessing, at least to her.
Fears:
-Being frozen; ember had once seen a traveler who was so frozen that they had ice coming out of their veins, and the tribe's process of trying to help which eventually led to the travelers painful death left her traumatic about being frozen, fearing that she would go through the same thing
-Rendered immobile permanently; often not being able to move meant you were going to die and let the scavengers of the deserts have you, that and she couldn't do the things she liked doing.
-Losing loved ones; those that are her actual family, she values them too much, and losing them would be devastating for ember.
