Anastasia really needs to install some sort of exit out of the Lair for on-foot travel to the island, itself.  Perhaps a stairway can be carved out through the split mountain. Actually, several different entrances would probably be a good idea.  While that might be a real pain to deal with, security-wise, they also had multiple routes of escape in case they had to quickly leave the Lair.

Anastasia trudged along the edge of the beach with a grumble, picking her knees up high to walk through the shifting sands with the tide brushing against her ankles as she walked along the coast.  With her was Taliya, her trusty guardian, as well as her autonomous floating weapon 'The Fire Moth'.  These two have been faithful companions with her for the last several months.  However, upgrades need to be made on the Fire Moth as it's starting to misbehave in this salty air.  

As Anastasia trudged through the sand and water, Taliya is prancing along the coast, not hindered by the water in the slightest.  Sounds of hooting-and-hollering could be heard from Taliya as she circled around Anastasia.  "C'mon, Captain!  What's taking you SOOOO long to go through this stuff?  If you still had your Pursuit Armor," she said in a teasing manner.  She wore skimpy clothing, clothing that hardly covered up anything.  However, due to the seclusion of the island, the heat of their location, and the fact that quite a few of her crew might find it as eye-candy allowed Anastasia to give it a pass.  Normally, she would bicket at Taliya to put some actual clothes on, but now isn't the time to really bother.  

"Shut up, Taliya.  We HAD to find this base on this dumb island, huh?" she said, remembering clearly the job she had with Team Four Star where they had to take on the cardinal beasts.  They would act up every now-and-then when other people come to fight the beasts.  It's like those creatures respawn every 2 or 3 hours.  Another grumble came from her lips once again before Sakura came into view.  Relief washed over her as her walking through this crap was near an end.

Ana already knew of the specifics in the job, having classically been the one with all of the job specifics during her tenure as a Team Four Star member.  Ashe is still nowhere to be found.  She should really ask Almyra if she knew where she was.  Ugh.  This was probably the first time in a while since she went on a job as a member of a guild; the last time being when she was a member of the wrecked-ship called 'Blue Pegasus'.  What a disaster of a guild that was.  Thankfully, the people in Black Sails were more reasonable and were actually people instead of 'RAWR, VIOLENCE!' and wouldn't judge her for the lack of transport from one place to the next.  She was still a bit sore about the affair on the Phoenix Mountain, even if she returned to conquer the mountain, itself.

Coming within ear-shot, Anastasia waved to Sakura with the Fire Moth making beeping and booping noises to say hello in it's own way.  Taliya waved to Sakura as well before thrusting herself at Sakura and groping at her chest.  "You should really let these loose every once in a while!" she said in a rather predatory manner.  A little groan could be heard before Anastasia wound up and punted Taliya away from Sakura, sending her flying all the way into the ocean with a loud splash.

"She keeps doing that.  Sorry about that," she said as she rubs the back of her head with a little chuckle.  "Who'da thunk there was treasure here, yeah?" Anastasia asked.  The irony of there being buried treasure on a pirate island didn't escape her.  

Meanwhile...
"Yar!!!! Land ho, Captain!" a man shouted out to their captain.  The man was of tiny stature with a squeaky voice.  The Captain of the ship merely grinned, rubbing the tips of his mustache with his finger tips.  "That'sa good!" shouted the captain before reaching into his pocket to grab a red and white colored mushroom, holding it like a hammer.  

"All-a mans-a on deck!  There's a pirate guild up ahead.  So get yer guns-a ready and LET'SA GO!" the man said as he raised the mushroom.  Loud squeals could be heard, that were supposed to be a warcry from the men on-board the ship.

After apologizing to the girl, Anastasia sighed outward at being called 'tasty'.  Not knowing what this meant, a little laugh came from Anastasia's lips.  A very uncomfortable laugh, instinctively throwing her hand over her throat.  ~Does this girl have some weird vampire fetish or something?  She would seriously get along well with Taliya~ she thought.  Clearing her throat, Anastasia removed her hand and made a hand gesture, as if to get the ball moving.

"Well, the guy at Hargeon said that there was a 'One Piece' here that pirates were looking for," she said.  The irony of pirates looking for a 'One Piece' and giving the job to pirates didn't escape her in the slightest.  "The only problem is, is we don't have a flippin' map.  I guess this 'Blackstache' guy is the one with the map, huh?" she asked.  The name, 'Blackstache' was an awful moniker to go by.  Blackbeard, Calico Jack, Long John Silver; those were pirate names.  Blackstache, on the other hand, sounds like a clown.  

Alarms rang all-of-a-sudden.  The alarms sounded similar to the alarms within the SS Myrmidon.  "Code Black!  Code Black!" shouted the alarms in a monotonous male voice.  Taliya pulled herself out of the water right next to Ana and Sakura and shook the water off of herself, dowsing them in the water kept in her fluffy hair and tail.

"Crap!  We have sails!" Ana said to Sakura with a smirk.  "Ready to kick some ass and take some names?" Anastasia asked Sakura before clearing her throat.  A pale white light surrounded her body, with her body being covered by a massive armor standing at 40 feet tall (12.19 meters) tall.  

"What do you say we take the fight to them?" Ana asked as she opened the palm of her mecha and took a knee.  Taliya shouted and clapped her fists together, making a loud clanging noise.  "Yeah!" Taliya said as she mounted the hand of the mobile suit.  The small orbital weapon taht was surrounding grew to match the proportion of her armor, being about 8 times bigger than it was before.  She turned the head of her suit to look to Sakura and nodded, as if to signal to her to 'get on'.

Meanwhile...
"LAND HO~~~!" came a high pitched voice coming from the Crow's Nest of the ship.  "We got some natives!"

Twirling his mustache in one of his hands, Captain Blackstache smirked and nodded his head, taking a bite out of the mushroom.  After taking the bite out of the mushroom, he pointed it in the direction of the island.  "Good!  Forward cannons aim!" Blackstache said with a mighty roar (well, in comparison to his tiny cohorts.  "Wait for it!" he said with a short pause.  "FIRE!" the man said before thunderous roar.  With a flash of powder, 3 large canon balls were hurled in the direction of Ana and Sakura.

Alarms rang inside of Anastasia's cockpit.  An image of the large cannon balls were approaching her and her guildmate.  Sucking air in between her teeth, Anastasia grabbed Taliya and Sakura in a single swoop and placed them into her mecha's palms and quickly jetted to the side, letting the cannon balls strike against the sand.  The cannon balls left craters in the sand, only to soon be filled with water from the ocean.  "You can feed on those assholes over there.  We don't have time to goof right now," she said as she started to fly towards the Pirate ship approaching the Divide Island.  

"Looks like those were the pirates that our client warned us about," she said.  However, as they got within range, Sakura noticed strange red boxes coming into view in her vision.  They highlighted enemy targets.  "Oh!  You might be seeing some strange boxes.  Don't worry about that, it's the nano-machines.  They'll show you the targets that I have designated as enemies.  You should see 17 of them," she said as she can see the actual number in her armor's Heads Up Display.  "So yeah," Anastasia said as she spins out of the way of yet another hail of cannon balls.  The balls made of pure iron whizzed right by Anstasia with a high pitched whistling sound.  

"Holy crap!  What kinda of cannon balls are those?" Ana said as she continued to fly towards the pirate ship.  "There's enough people on there to feed on!  So don't bother me or Taliya about that," she said before coming to a stop in front of the ship, stopping almost instantly.  The ship was filled with tiny people.  All of the tiny people looked up at Anastasia's armor for a moment in sheer terror.  "You've gotta be shitting me," Anastasia said before Taliya burst into outrageous laughter.  

"Tiny people!  They're so... tiny!" Taliya said as she began to squirm around within Ana's grip.  Anastasia pulled her hand holding Taliya and Sakura up and wound-up as if going for a pitch.  "Holy shit!" cried out one of the short people in the pirate's crew before they all began to panic.  With a pitch, Ana threw both Taliya and Sakura towards the ship.  Like a bullet, Taliya flew through the ship only to completely punch through it like a bullet.  Unfortunately, due to throwing Taliya like a bullet threw her very far into the ocean.  

"Oops, sorry Tali," she said under her breath.  Blackstache, on the other hand just stood there and watched as his 'men' charged forward to take on Anastasia and Sakura.
