Phaje was born to Marov and Kamielle, who lived in a small hut outside of Hargeon. Known for his misdeeds, Marov was once a dark wizard who helped cause destruction, but came to settle and repent when little Phaje was born. For the first few years of his life, Phaje was taught about the world through his mother's eyes, and his father took jobs with a local guild to provide for the family. He was taught to read, how to write, how to live off the land, and how to navigate by the stars. With no other kids to play with, he would hang out with the animals in the area. While his father was away, he was taught that emotions are powerful and should always be displayed.
Shortly after Phaje turned 14, the hut he had lived in his whole life was attacked while he was away gathering provisions for his mother. Upon return, he found his mother mutilated upon the kitchen floor. Hearing the news, his father returned home to bury the mother of his only kid. Marov chose to take Phaje with him, and teach him the lessons of "The Void", the darkness of Gravity Magic. He taught Phaje to both fear and respect the Void and gravity magic, as they were powerful and not to be taken lightly. He taught Phaje how he could use it to help repel others to cushion blows, to help draw the enemy closer from a distance, and how to exert force upon others. After teaching him all he could, Marov left and a mission, leaving Phaje at the guild hall. Marov never returned from the mission he had been sent on.
For the next year, Phaje would wait for his father's return. He would read the entirety of the guild's library, and found an immense love for books. He became so infatuated that he forgot that his parents were gone. He barely talked to the others there at Marov's guild. Finally, he left and started to live off the land like his mother had taught him. He traveled looking for his father, but had assumed him gone. He has recently began, after 2 long years of living on the move, to take a better interest in forming friendships, thus he has been looking to make a place in society. Socially awkward, he craves to make a friend for the first time, but instead finds himself observing. He constantly tries to evaluate how others interact, not knowing what is wrong or right to say. He finally has a goal: to find a friend, and maybe even a family.
Recently, he has been moving all throughout Fiore, searching for information about his father, and trying to start conversations with people to learn how to better converse. Through his travels, he hasn't found much out about his father, but he has kept his head up. He has endured a lot of hardship in his life, yet has still remained undecided as to what path he will walk. He has turned his attention back to the hut just outside of Hargeon. Maybe something back in that small hut he used to call home can give him some clue. Soon he will have to take a job again though to resupply for the journey home. Unless... something else catches his eye.
