Sirius Pendragon • Black Rose • D Rank
Once again, it was time to do one of the more boring things in life. Sirius was to travel to a place called the Neutral Grounds – a place that he had never been to before. What could be so bad about this place that his friends told him things about like, 'You cannot use magic there' or, 'You'll bore your life out in that place.' Clearly they weren't very big fans of things that Sirius found quite fascinating. The Neutral Grounds held so many intriguing items that she came across in the streets that she walked through. Street hawkers sat in their little shaded spots with their merchandise spread out on rattan mats in front of them as they sat hungrily anticipating their next customer. Sirius was not dumb enough to actually appear interested in what they put up for sale. He knew that it would only alert the other street hawkers, causing them to begin their advertising fest that would never end, unless you did something negatively remarkable in their presence. Been there, done that; no regrets. After all, he was a passionate traveler. He had observed the nature of people throughout his journeys, and thus the reason he knew what would happen if he caught one of the street hawkers attentions. For this reason alone, Sirius kept his eyes forward, and made sure that he was going the right way, to the factory that produced the popular 'iLacs'.
It took him quite some time to arrive at what looked like the reception of the place. He clearly had no clue, because this was not only his first time at the Neutral Grounds, but also inside a factory building. Sirius wondered which part of the cluster of buildings the iLacs were actually created in, but that was not something he should be curious about at the moment, seeing how he was already slightly fatigued from the walking. Of course he had hired a carriage from his manor to the Neutral Grounds. There was no way in hell he was walking all the way from home to the faraway district that he had barely heard of. The lady who sat at the counter greeted him with a warm smile. She wore glasses and had a mole a little above her lips. It was attractive, not that she was already good-looking. Wasn't it a good idea to have attractive ladies at the counter? That way they would attract more customers, not like he was going to have to pay for it. The iLac was free for anyone who took the time to come all the way here. The lady had already predicted his purpose here and brought out a brand-new, plastic-wrapped box that contained the iLac. It was the very first model of it, apparently and after giving him a few instructions on how to operate it, the lady told him about the one year warranty, and then bid him farewell. Sirius nodded with a smile saying, "Thanks for the instructions, I'll call you on this baby whenever I need help." And with a wink, he left.
