Peace village. It has been a while, but Rose was now finally returning. At least for a little while anyway, there was no way she would stay there. While it was her home, she also now had Black Rose where the other part of her family was, both real and figurative. And she really liked the inn that the guild occupied. Though it still seemed pretty strange that a big community of strong mages would be housed in such a small space. Surely they had plenty of funds to find themselves a place for a proper guild hall instead of just having one singular inn with few booths and one single bar. But oh well, it didn’t seem that her big sister would not be happy with the place. And Rose knew her darling sister very well, from both her personal experience and the dreams. So she also knew that the black haired girl would not stay somewhere she did not like. Or perhaps it was just Mr. Kitty who was holding her there. She was unsure, as all those feelings were a tad bit too complex for the young child’s heart and mind. Indeed, she would still have to grew few more years before she could understand the true meaning of romantic love. For now, all she had was the pure and innocent one that was directed towards everyone around her. And soon, that circle of positivity would be expended just a little bit more. That was the reason she was visiting the Peace village in the first place. An official request came in, wanting a wizard that could come into the local hospital and entertain the ill children. Rose kinda hoped that her big sister would be helping her on her jobs, but she also knew her relationship with the place, and just how little time she had these days. And because of that, the little brave girl decided to do her very first official job by herself! Surely it would not be that much of a trouble, as she already knew quite a lot of the kids in the hospital. Again, she lived in the village for many, many years! And she was the very friendly sort of person, so it was only natural that she was trying to make friends everywhere and as much as possible. Even those that were depressed, sick and ill in the white house where people were getting cured, she wanted to know them all and bring them a little bit of happiness. Now more than ever, even! She always had magic, but only now she knew how to properly use it the way she wanted. And with the power of daydreaming, she could perhaps fulfill all the dreams and hopes of the children that were locked behind the walls, locked away from the big and beautiful world. There was nothing worse that boredom that was eating away at your soul, at your very being. And with friends, you could easily defeat this monster that always tries to get at you every chance it gets. There was a giant smile on the young Rose’s face as she walked down the dirt street, the soles of her shoes slightly dirty from it. The Peace village never was one of the most rich ones, but it was still pretty and very self-sustainable for the most part. Well… it even had the hospital where she was heading now, so that was saying something. Even in this day and age, there were still places that did not have that luxury at all, which was extremely sad. But the girl did not want to think about sad things, she only cared for what was positive! Perhaps that was just ignorant and stupid of her, but who could blame a child of trying to ignore all the negativity that was spreading throughout the world? She still had time before she would have to grow up, so why not let her play the part?

Finally she was standing in front of the big and white building that was clearly bearing the world spelled in big and bright red letters. “Hospital”. There was no mistaking it, this was definitely the place she had to visit in order to fulfill her objective! Filled with excitement and anticipation, she bursted through the door and ran up to one of the nurses that were around. There were not many, as the hospital itself was rather small compared to those that you would find in the big city like Magnolia. But this way, it was actually easier to know and remember everyone! Almost like they were all one big family or group of friends that could not be separated, no matter what hardships they would face! And so, Rose produced the piece of paper with the job description written on it and pretty much shoved it into the nurse’s face, showing her the reason why she was actually here.

”Ah… Rose! So you’re finally back… well, I actually did not expect you to be back so soon after I heard from your mother that you ran away to join a guild… what a bad girl. But… this is… don’t tell me, you’re the wizard that’s supposed to entertain the children?! ”

It was pretty obvious that the older woman did not believe this for first few seconds, only blankly staring back into the eyes of the young girl, which were sparkling with all kinds of emotions that she was feeling right now, nearly bursting. Yeah, it was probably pretty difficult to accept a little girl that you knew for a while as someone that would actually work with you, or rather for you. Only when more voices of children started echoing through the hallways she managed to take her eyes away from Rose, turning them towards the new source of noise instead. It was all the patients that were in this place, all running towards the girl that was suddenly new in the building. They all did not see one another in a while, so it was probably to be expected that something like this would happen. A whole lot of chatter and hugs were given in those few minutes when the nurse realized that this would actually be probably for the best. Sure, it was nice to have a magician that could show few neat tricks and entertain the children… but something like that would never best a friend that you could talk to and play with. Not to mention that Rose actually counted for both of those, as she indeed still had her daydreaming powers. Even if she did not properly know how to use them just yet, it was still something pretty impressive. It was only shame that her big sister could not be here and see all this. Rose knew very well what she had gone through, that she never had a nice childhood or many friends. Perhaps that was actually the real reason for this young girl to be making all these relationships from a very young age. She was learning from experiences of others, that was the true power of her dreaming. Not only could she learn where all those she cared about were, but she could also take what they lived through as her personal experiences while her real body was resting in the bed… or wherever else she would decide to sleep. But she could not be too bothered by all that now, she had a job to do in this place! Although she was already kinda doing it without even realizing so. All these children, they were mostly too sick to leave this place even for few hours. They could only watch the outside world from behind the glass panels of the windows of this building. And because of that, they were extremely eager to hear various stories from their friend here! Especially after their heard that she in fact did leave the village to find her long lost big sister and join the same guild as her in the process! While it probably wasn’t exactly the best thing in the world, wizards were often seen as some kind of heroes these days. So, in a way, Rose became something like their little hero that would fight for them! And then she could share all her amazing stories with them, giving them hope for the time before they could be finally released. And since it kinda was in the description of her job this time, she attempted to show them a little bit of her own magic as well! It was nothing too fancy, given her low level in magic, but it was still plenty to bring smiles to all those children, her friends. After all, they now personally knew someone that could become the great saviour of this world in the future! And that surely counted for something. Not everyone had the ability to brag about knowing someone from Rose Garden, someone that was also related to one of the most powerful aces of that guild. It truly was a good day...
