Personality: Usually sitting alone during lunch instead of with guild mates Ricken
prefers to be alone with either a book or some other trivial thing to occupy his time. Ricken is the definition of timid and has a very quiet demeanor looking almost uninterested in anything, its not as though he has a hard time making friends, he just chooses to keep to himself preferring isolation to socializing. (I suppose he is more of an introvert) Ricken is a very sensitive person not being able to handle insults or jokes well at all. Ricken is an intelligent person but due to his fragile personality he is easily influenced by those he trust leaning towards any decision they make. Ricken is a very intelligent person which can be easily seen from anyone who takes the time to get to know Ricken, however due to his sheltered nature any kind of interaction is hard for Ricken leading most to believe he is a coward not fit to be a mage of battle. Due to Rickens quiet nature reading his emotions is a difficult task, when Ricken becomes angered at anyone/thing he will definitely let you know not exactly in a harsh manner but certainly nothing nice will come from him in a fit of anger.
Ricken is not afraid of a fight and will fight if necessary but tries to avoid combat if possible. For any friends Ricken does have he defends them at all cost throwing himself in harms way to protect them. Ricken is easily intimidated and against a fearsome foe he will often cower in fear or retreat from a fight he believes he cannot win. He tends to rely on his allies over his own battle capabilities a bit too much often leading to a mistrust between partners. Due to Rickens high intelligents he is able to navigate a battlefield and strategize quite easily, however Ricken is not a strong fighter and actually being able to preform a lot of the combat tactics he comes up with can be difficult especially if he is a fight alone. If Ricken is working in a team with a poor leader he will usually decide tactics for himself disregarding any sense of teamwork.
Ricken rarely ever thinks of himself as a leader being far too shy and self-doubting to believe he may ever lead, if Ricken is ever to surpass this fear he would surely make a great leader with a quick wit and strong intelligence, his lack of confidence however causes his mind to fog and over analyse situations leading to bad or even dire situations for him or his group. Rickens battle tactics are usually genius in practice but executing them is usually difficult due to his large lack of communication with a team. Finally, he tends to throw the blame on others if he set into a leadership role, saying the team did not follow his orders correctly leading to any losses but more often than not the role of leader will just get forced onto someone else entirely whether they want the position or not.
