"You really need me to write ANOTHER letter for you? That's the fourth one this week!" Seika groaned, eyeing Izayuki disapprovingly. This time, the cyan-haired youkai sat at the guild master's desk, checking over the paperwork she was sure Izayuki had only half-done. She had already found numerous errors, and had set many papers aside to be redone. Gazing up with a glare, the hybrid youkai's cyan eye bore into the Bakedanuki. "What's so important about this one? Write it yourself."

"I can't!" Izayuki replied in an indignant manner, standing in front of the desk, gazing down at Seika in a worried manner. Her handwriting was more like chicken-scratch at best. It was the one thing that she knew she was not good at, and never could improve upon. As a result, any comments on her penmanship instantly became her one trigger, and Seika was one of the few people who knew it. Having decent and legible handwriting herself, Seika often was the one who was forced to write the letters for Izayuki, in order to save the guild the embarrassment of their guildmaster writing like a four year old. "This isn't just any exam! It's an Ace Promotion!" the tanuki girl defended, both hands on the desk as she leaned her weight on it, to face her companion.

"An... ace? Why didn't you tell me about this?" Seika asked suspiciously, crossing her arms and breathing out a sigh.
"Well... I'm telling you now. The Ace of Spades position has been vacant for a long time, but now the Ace of Hearts position is open too... since she is growing stronger, I think Kiru would be a good fit. Don't you think?" Izayuki replied with a small smile, stating her point confidently.

"That emotionless black and white haired girl? That one is Kiru, right? Well... she seems calm. Maybe she can even keep Irina and the others in check. I don't see why not," Seika responded after thinking a moment, giving a slight shrug. "Fine. I'll write her the letter, and I'll pick the job for her exam. You work on these unfinished papers.... jeez, do you ever learn?"

Izayuki first let out a sigh of relief, which quickly evolved to a disappointed groan. "Fine," she said in a defeated and irritated manner, beginning to collect some of the papers on the cluttered desk. Ah, how she hated paperwork. In the meantime, Seika began to forge a formal letter to their guildmate, full of the details for a small task and possible promotion.

"Dear Kiru Nivani,

It has come to our attention you are well deserving of being promoted to a higher rank in the guild. However, to prove you are ready for this, you must complete one final task. We have received reports of a place in the nation of Iceberg that the locals call the 'Cavern of Fear', or the 'Cavern of No Return'. This was once a beautiful ice cave often frequented by tourists. Now, however, anyone who has wandered in has never come back out alive. Please see what you can do to gather information on this mystery, and if you can, set things right. Once you return, please see the Guild Master in her office.
