He sighed slightly looking at the outfit he was dressed up in today, hoping no one would really think anything weird of the fact he was wearing something one could only call a kilt colored in a straight black to match his long hair, open toed sandals and a plain white t-shirt accompanying it. Every day he spent on land? Lycus realized it was abnormal for men to wear robes and skirts or dresses, but the male knew he had no other options. On the chance he got wet, wearing pants could cause damage to his tail. Luckily he was far too tall and built for anyone to mistake him for a girl, not that he would mind being a mermaid if that had been what he was born as, but he was born a merman and he took pride in that. “This should be the place.” he had brought with him a large bouquet of flowers for his date, alongside a small little stuffed polar bear to give the person he was supposed to be seeing for this job. Even if it was a job? He was going to treat this like a real date, he always treated his interactions with people as a real attempt to get them into his bed because that was one of the things the lazy and laid back merman enjoyed the most, quality time with someone that did not involve rising from bed.

“Good morning sleeping beauty.” he saw the girl waiting where she should be, the camera’s already everywhere not bothering him at all as the male casually strolled up to his date for the day. The fact her eyes were closed was somewhat disconcerting for him but it would not be much of an issue, honestly, a nap sounded good if they didn’t have a job to do. “These are for you.” with that he attempted to hand her the bundle of mixed flowers and the toy he had bought for her. If he managed to hand those off he would move slightly so his shadow was over her, moving to place one hand right above her hip offering the comatose woman a gentle smile. “I”m Lycus.” he offered his name as an attempt to get the conversation flowing between them as was required for any decent date if this was going to end where he wanted, with her in his bed.

A volunteer job seemed useless to the mage at first. She, Alexis Hata, would gain nothing from this little date of hers, save for the knowledge that she helped the production of the movie. She wouldn't be an actor, she wouldn't get mention in the movie, and she wouldn't even get paid! So, why was she doing this again? Ah, right... Dilon, her spirit animal, had suggested that she spent less time in her "love room" of her dreamland, looking at the images, and going on fake dates with the man of her dreams, but instead to actually go on a date in real life. This job would provide such a date, while also giving her the good conscious and knowledge that Alex did something good. The bad part is that this was a blind date, and Alex had no idea who else would be taking the job with her.

For now, Alex was dressed much like she normally does, except for one crucial part of her attire. Her jacket, which was a staple for her, was gone. Dilon suggested that she left it at her apartment so that she wouldn't scare off her date. How the jacket would do such a thing, Dilon wouldn't explain to her. For someone that was literally created to be a figment of Alex's imagination, Dilon wouldn't tell her much.

The voice instantly perked her out of daydreaming, and she scanned the area around her, until the figure shown itself to her. Alex saw a seven foot tall sexy goliath that stood before her, with beautiful long hair. His attire didn't exactly shock her, for she was mesmorized alone with his physical appearance. Not to mention, the man brought flowers. Classy... old fashioned... but classy nonetheless. She happily took the flowers, and bowed her head in thanks, while giving a quiet "Thank you."

"Hello, Lycus, my name is Alexis. You, however, may call me Alex... O-Or sleeping beauty, if you want, it doesn't exactly matter..."

Why was she acting like this!? Alex was normally a composed, calm tactician who can think clearly regardless of the situation. However, as of right now she couldn't even notice the cameras, which were EVERYWHERE, or even think straight because of Lycus' mesmorizing beauty. He just looked so.. godlike. Alex needed to compose herself, ASAP.

"So, Lycus... Do you have any idea where we should go? Any events nearby? Dinner somewhere, I'm all ears."

So even if it seemed as if she was constantly asleep she was somehow conscious of the things going on around her. Lycus was intrigued, to say the least, being able to walk around and function while in slumber, was something he knew that he would rather enjoy. If he had the choice to sleep or fight? He would sleep every time, especially if there was someone else sleeping in his bed, he wasn’t as picky about sharing as the seven dwarves or the three bears. The knight smirked slightly amused with own thought as he admired the modestly beautiful woman in front of him if he could say one thing about the surface world was that it had a great array of beautiful things for him to have flings with. “I personally like saying sleeping beauty” the man spoke in his deep voice as he moved to slide his arm around her waist, moving to place his other hand on her shoulder “but your wrong it does matter, your opinion is very important beautiful.” and hopefully that opinion lead her into his bed by the time the night rolled around. The male then moved to aim and kiss the purple haired girl's forehead, considering conditions a full lip kiss would likely be pushing it, but this was supposed to be a date so he figured the cheek or forehead should be fair game. Hopefully, he could move onto the lips soon enough, but sometimes one had to take it slow to get what they wanted from people.

“There’s a wonderful little painting event in the park today and around the time it ends there is an outdoor movie we can end the night with.” unless she decided that she wanted to go back to his place, then their night would end much more fun. Anyway’s, he placed his hand on the small of her back and used his other arm to gesture in the direction they would be walking to get to this event.

Alexis' brain was jumbled when the man spoke, it was like he himself was another figment of her imagination, someone she created from her dream realm. However, the thing was - he was real. He seemed to be so perfect, so gentlemanly, so good-looking, that he couldn't be real. But he was, and this was what made Alex so discombobulated. He was someone straight out of her "special room" in her dreamland, where her fantasies got to work on doing whatever it was they do.

"Alright, sleeping beauty it is."

Alex smiled, and allowed the man to kiss her forehead with slighter ease by tilting her head downward. It was a strange thought to do so, as he was much taller than she was and could easily do so regardless. She wasn't thinking clearly, not at all.

"Painting and a movie sounds wonderful. Oh how I love to paint~"

The memories of her childhood in Midi as a painter flooded back, and Alexis became even more excited to participate. So, she grasped Lycus' arm and allowed him to guide her to the event. Once there, the two would do as any couple would at that sort of gathering: talk, and paint. Alex didn't exactly create what one would call a good painting, in fact it was damn well horrible. That was the drawback of being always asleep, your "Sight" is nowhere near as potent as actual sight, and you are bad with colors in every sense. However she remained optimistic, even though the extremely mellow teacher said to her that "her painting made his soul wish for reincarnation." This was her first date in quite a long time, and it was going rather swimmingly.

After the painting, they did in fact go to a movie. Twas an action / romance movie about someone whose wife was snatched in an old fashioned Damsel in Distress scenario, and it was frankly quite boring and Alex had seen it all before. It was enjoyable to be there, with this man Lycus, but the movie itself was not. It also didn't help that Alex wasn't awoke when watching the movie, so she just listened to it, and the mental image showed the same images as all the other movies with the same plot. So the movie didn't exactly make her day, but the end of it would be nicer and make up for it. Lycus would later, after the people recording them had left, offer Alex to accompany him back to his house. This was music to Alex's ears, both literally and figuratively. Not only was Lycus' voice divine, but he gave her the chance to spend more time with him, and that was something Alex definitely wanted to do, so she accepted his offer, and joined him on the journey back to his place, where she'd spend the night.
