Blood of the Bladesworn
Primary Magic: Blood of the Bladesworn
Secondary Magic: -
Caster or Holder: Caster: Take-Over
Description:
Many, many years ago, a clan of barbarians sought a way to achieve greater power. In order to do this, they gave up any sense of humanity to a dark power, and achieved great strength along with more monstrous forms. In present day, thanks to a war that ravaged the clan, only a few remain. While Axil isn't a full Bladesworn, he is in direct blood relation with all four that remain, while his mother is human. This ultimately adds up to Axil being a half Bladesworn. He inherited their style of fighting, which is a really glorified form of swordplay, enhanced by magic. The more interesting thing, however is something Axil learned in the nearly deadly confrontation with his half brother --- not only does Axil himself have the ability to transform into a full Bladesworn, but through absorbing the blood of another Bladesworn, has the potential to "steal" their forms, and use them in something similar to standard take-over magic. Axil has a special and unique talent which allows him to imitate the powers and appearance of other Bladesworn, a trait which is reflected by his weapon as well.
Due to Axil's secretive nature, he tends to avoid using his magic in flashy ways, preferring silent and swift takedowns with the use of Wolfgang. While his sword is usually strong enough to get the job done without any issues, he does sometimes need to use his take-overs. When doing so, he tends to avoid full take-overs magic, since, of course, he would rather be discreet. In accordance with this, his primary take-overs are the ones which change the appearance of Wolfgang, considering his opponent would most likely not be able to deduce what his magic was if it was only his sword changing appearance. Of course, the magic is still considered a caster magic due to the fact that the sword is and acts as part of Axil's body (he can feel it's sensations when a force acts on it, damage on the sword causes pain for him, etc.). Beyond that, Axil tends to try and take advantage of his take overs in subtle ways, sticking to his usual battle strategy, merely with increased strength. He does his best to keep any transformed body part under his cloak, but given the general size of a Bladesworn's body, it tends to be difficult to do. If he does happen to go full take-over, it's best to run for your life. Any enemy who has seen what Axil's magic truly will truly understand what makes him a "Revenant" as he will viciously attack and pursue them to the ends of Earthland to eliminate any witnesses.
Strengths:
Might Makes Right:
By nature of take-over magic, Axil's can greatly enhance his physical strength beyond what most mages are capable of. This also gives him an advantage when fighting foes who expect him to simply throw fireballs or the like.
In the Groove:
Because his magic is completely compatible with his fighting style, Axil can, with relative ease, integrate spells into his fighting style without interrupting the flow of his attacks.
Better to Bend than Break:
Axil's magic, as are most take-over magics, is incredibly broad in it's applications. The elements, tools, strengths, and weaknesses are all reliant on the various beings who he has absorbed, which ultimately gives Axil great potential for flexibility.
Weaknesses:
Give and Take:
By nature of take-over magic, Axil's spell durations are long, and the cooldowns are equally long. If Axil fails to eliminate threats during take over, he is left vulnerable to attack.
Hellish Allergies:
Bladesworn are technically beings of demonic energy, and while Axil can avoid succumbing to their weaknesses in his human form, while using take-over, he's weak to magic which slays demons.
Oh the Agony!:
Because Axil's magic is directly connected to his body, all of his take-overs have damage thresholds, and will give out if Axil takes too much damage.
Rare and Beautiful Creatures:
There are exactly four Bladesworn still alive today. They are all incredibly powerful creatures. If Axil wants to expand his magic, he must engage in a canon thread in which he faces and defeats the other Bladesworn.
Lineage:
Unique Abilities:
Fearsome Aura:
Due to the ancient and powerful energies which are laced into the existence of any Bladesworn, when Axil assumes a full take-over, he releases an oppressive aura. This aura can have adverse effects on his opponents psyche for 1 post as follows:
He Can Smell Fear... or Blood:
Axil's skill and passion as a hunter combine with his unique physiology to allow him to heighten his senses. Axil has a heightened sense of smell specifically for blood. This allows him to identify what species is bleeding, what direction and how far away they are, and, if he knows their blood well enough, even the specific target. However, a major flaw in this ability is that he cannot "block out" other blood scents. If he is tracking down a human, and another one is bleeding within his range, and he doesn't know what the specific scent he's looking for is, he'd have to guess. His range is a fixed 40 ft, so long as the blood is exposed to the air.
Mental Dominance:
If a non-magical creature makes eye contact with Axil, regardless of whether he's transformed or not, he is capable of hypnotizing them temporarily. Notably, he cannot make them do things they don't want to, for example: commit a homicide, betray crucial information, or confront a major fear. However, he can influence them in minor ways, and subvert them into engaging in dangerous behavior. This ability is only possible when Axil's head is in a take-over form. This cannot be done to any being with their own magic, or to enemies whose rank exceeds his own.

Lineage:
- Glory of the Slayer:
- Glory of the Slayer
Description: Countless eras ago there was a maniacal warrior who bathed in the blood of his victims. As he did this his powers grew, until eventually he grew to be able to control blood in order to decimate his foes. He could use either his blood or the blood of his foes to empower his already devastating techniques, and even heal himself. Many years passed before 12 of the strongest mages in the land would be able to seal this insane berserker away for eternity in another realm. All he could do was laugh because he knew that his descendants would possess the same abilities he had. It was in their blood.
Ability: Allows the user to enter a berserk state, allowing for their abilities to be empowered by and meant to draw blood. The more blood drawn in a battle, the more devastating the abilities become.
Usage: Lasts for 6 posts and may be used once per battle. Damage increased by 50%. Any time an enemy is hit, damage is further increased by 10%. Passively regardless of berserker state drawing blood will increase damage by 10%, reducing by 5% per post (0% increase minimum)
- For Animals/Unintelligent Life:
- Higher Rank: No effect
- Same Rank: Hesitant to attack, attack power and speed -25%
- 1 Rank Lower: Refusing to attack, for the next post, the animal will keep it's distance
- 2 or more Ranks Lower: The animal flees. This does not count as a kill.
- Higher Rank: No effect
- For Humans/Intelligent Life:
- Same or Higher Rank: No effect
- 1 Rank lower: Hesitant to attack, attack power and speed -10%
- 2 Ranks Lower: Very hesitant to attack, attack power and speed -25%
- 3 or more Ranks Lower: The opponent is paralyzed with instinctual fear, and cannot attack Axil of their own volition for that post.
- Same or Higher Rank: No effect

- Adagio, the Bastard Child:
Spells:
- D-Rank:
- Mozart:
Name: Take-Over: Mozart, Blade of Adagio
Rank: D
Type: Support, Partial Take-Over, Dark
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description:
The weapon belonging to Axil's Bladesworn form. The weapon's apperance considerably changes from it's form as Wolfgang, which forces Axil to change his fighting style to be more oriented around keeping his distance and thrusting the blade. In turn, his opponents have to adapt to the new weapon as well. Mozart, a blade steeped in dark and murderous emotions, is significantly more vocal than Wolfgang, and will argue with Axil in his head if it doesn't agree with his actions. It get's excited when about to make a kill.- Active, Pike Ruiner:
Name: Pike Ruiner
Rank: D
Type: Dark, Offensive
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description:
Axil can use this active spell when Wolfgang is transformed into the dark blade Mozart. Entropic energy fills the blade of the weapon, and Axil thrusts it forward at incredible speeds, 3 times, transferring the chaotic energy outwards in bursts, either channeling it into whatever is on the end of the spear, or into the air.
Strengths:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Leftovers:
If the attack's chaotic energy is released into the air. a small orb is formed, coming in contact with this orb will cause it to burst and deal 1/3 of the damage of the attack. These orbs last for two posts after the attack is performed before exploding on their own.
Blowback:
The explosive energy that is expelled by his sword in this attack is strong enough to blow enemies of an equal rank back a few feet.
Weaknesses:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Food Poisoning:
The orbs mentioned in the "Leftovers" are not sentient, and cannot differentiate between friend and foe. This means even Axil can be subject to their damage if he's not careful.
Full Frontal:
This attack requires Axil to focus all of his efforts in attack what's directly in front of him, leaving him vulnerable to attacks coming from any other direction than where his blade is pointing.
Dead Giveaway:
Any attack involving a thrust is easy to see coming, let alone one in which the weapon in use glows violet beforehand. Due to this, a wary foe can easily dodge this attack's thrusts.
- Passive, Power in Strength:
Power in Strength:
When Mozart is active, the blade deals 20% more damage than normal. When attacking "holy" element foes, this boost goes up by 10%. If this blade lands a killing blow, the power increases by 5%, with the maximum boost being 35%.
Strengths:
Switchin' it Up:
Due to the drastic change in the shape of Axil's weapon, he can activate this take-over when he wants to take a different approach in battle.
Black Knight:
Being of the Dark element, this take-over grants Axil a 10% resist to dark element attacks when active, but only on the area in which the take-over is active.
In the Groove:
Because his magic is completely compatible with his fighting style, Axil can, with relative ease, integrate spells into his fighting style without interrupting the flow of his attacks.
Weaknesses:
Too Many Voices:
Because Mozart is such an independent spirit, it can often interrupt or interfere with Axil's thoughts. If Axil isn't aggressive enough, or his life is in danger, his sword becomes more a curse than a blessing.
No Dealbreakers:
Once Mozart has been transformed, there is no undoing the transformation unless:
a. The post limit runs out
b. The conditions in the next weakness are met.
Living Weapon, Dying Weapon:
Mozart is still a part of Axil's body and does sustain damage. If it gets hit by damage equaling equal it's rank, it reverts back to Wolfgang. The same goes for it Axil sustains 15% damage to his health from the post in which the take-over started.
Not the Light!:
Being of the Dark element, this take-over imposes upon Axil a 10% weakness to light element attacks when active, but only on the area in which the take-over is active.
- Skates:
Name: Take-Over: Devil's Skates, Legs of Adagio
Rank: D
Type: Support, Partial Take-Over, Dark
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description:
Black "cloth" wraps around Axil's legs as the extend, while his feet turn into bladed metal stumps. This takeover makes Axil a few inches taller. His movement style changes from a normal walk to a "skate" along the ground, and he becomes significantly faster. The ends of his feet also are now weaponized, adding more oomph to his kick.- Active, Pitch-Black Pirouette:
Name: Pitch-Black Pirouette
Rank: D
Type: Dark, Offensive
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description:
Axil leaps into the air, sticking out one of his legs, and twirling at blinding speeds, surrounding himself in a chaotic cocoon of entropic magic. He then dives down at 15 mph and tries to make contact with his target. If successful, he forces his chaotic energy into them while devastating them with the spinning bladed kick.
Strengths:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Lookin' Sharp:
Because the attacking point is Axil's sharpened feet, his attack has all the properties of a bladed attack, being able to cut through thin barriers and the like.
Weaknesses:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Suspended:
Axil is required to spend a few moment suspended in air, completely vulnerable to attack. Because he's spinning at such intense speeds, he's also unable to discern attacks which are coming towards him.
Solo Targeting:
A major weakness of Axil's move is that he has to decide where to attack before he starts his spell. Considering how conspicuous this particular attack is, it's somewhat easy to dodge, and even if the target doesn't dodge, any of their allies can jump Axil during the attack.
- Passive, Defying Gravity:
Defying Gravity:
Axil's speed increases by 20% and his strength increases by 10%. Not only that, but the nature of movement with his skates allows Axil to perform gravity defying movements, such as skating up the side of a cliff or along the side of a wall.
Strengths:
Tall and Leggy:
Adagio's legs are significantly longer than Axil's own, which allows him to increase his melee range slightly.
Weaknesses:
Slip and Slide:
Because of how these legs force Axil to move, it's impossible for him to come to quick stops. Because of this it's likely that he'll find it hard for himself not to collide into things when moving full speed.
No Dealbreakers:
Once Axil's legs have been transformed, there is no undoing the transformation unless:
a. The post limit runs out
b. The conditions in the next weakness are met.
Take-Over is Over:
Mozart is still a part of Axil's body and does sustain damage. If it gets hit by damage equaling equal it's rank, it reverts back to Wolfgang. The same goes for it Axil sustains 15% damage to his health from the post in which the take-over started.
Not the Light!:
Being of the Dark element, this take-over imposes upon Axil a 10% weakness to light element attacks when active, but only on the area in which the take-over is active.
- Helm:
Name: Take-Over: Devil's Helm, Head of Adagio
Rank: D
Type: Support, Partial Take-Over, Dark
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description:
Axil's eyes turn a deep yellow, as his face begins to transform and become metallic. A long white headband grows from the front, as his head becomes that of his Bladesworn form. Adagio's head has a fearsome look, and is basically expressionless, adding to the distinction between human and monster.- Active, Bleak Barrier:
Name: Bleak Barrier
Rank: D
Type: Dark, Defensive
Duration: 2 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
Description:
Focusing chaotic magic into his head, Axil generates a dome of dark magic to protect himself and allies. It's big enough to accommodate for Axil and 2 others, 3 if you stretch it, or depending on their size. It can take up to 3 D-Rank spells before breaking.
Strengths:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong when attacking this defense, enemies who are weak to it are weak when attacking.
I Got Your Back:
This is one of Axil's unique moves that can easily benefit people other than himself. Due to it's size, it tends to allow him to defend his comrades as well as himself. It's radius is about 2 meters, and it can fit people in so long as they can exist in the correct amount of space. Axil, if his legs are also active, has to duck to fit in it.
Weaknesses:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Motionless:
Axil is unable to move while he generates this barrier, if he does so, the barrier will disappear, even if the duration is not complete yet.
Popping the Bubble:
The barrier can only defend against 2 D-Rank spells worth of damage before it is destroyed.
- Passive, Night Vision:
Night Vision:
When this take-over is active, Axil receives a 25% boost in his defense, and his vision is fully functioning in the dark.
Strengths:
Black Knight:
Being of the Dark element, this take-over grants Axil a 10% resist to dark element attacks when active, but only on the area in which the take-over is active.
In the Groove:
Because his magic is completely compatible with his fighting style, Axil can, with relative ease, integrate spells into his fighting style without interrupting the flow of his attacks.
Weaknesses:
- Gauntlet:
Name: Take-Over: Devil's Gauntlet, Arm of Adagio
Rank: D
Type: Support, Partial Take-Over, Dark
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description:
When this spell is activated, Axil's right arm becomes that of his take-over form. it's somewhat longer, and his fingers gain pointed metal nails. His shoulder gains a golden decoration. His arm is significantly stronger in this form.- Active, Hell Hand:
Name: Hell Hand
Rank: D
Type: Dark, Offensive, DOT
Duration: post
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: 5 posts
Focusing chaotic magic into his hand, Axil makes a vicious swing. He leaves a hand shaped mark on his target which inflicts painful dark damage on the target for a small duration of time. There are multiple ways to prevent this, however. The initial mark deals 50% of the damage of a D-Rank spell, and each subsequent post it deals 50% of a D-Rank spell unless removed. The maximum amount of damage it can deal before fading is equal to 2 D-Rank spells.
Strengths:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong when attacking this defense, enemies who are weak to it are weak when attacking.
Damage Over Time:
This particular spell does damage over time. Although the initial slap only deals 50% of the damage of a D-Rank spell, each turn, it deals 50% of the damage up to 2 times the normal damage of a D-Rank spell.
Weaknesses:
Black Magic:
This magic is of the dark element, and as such has the strengths and weaknesses of that element. Enemies who are strong against the dark element are strong against this attack, enemies who are weak to it are weak to this attack.
Up Close and Personal:
In order to perform this spell, Axil must literally be within touching distance of his opponent. This could be potentially very bad, as he's left open to most any attack, regardless of it's range.
Baptized!:
It's possible to rid oneself of the stigma that deals damage if water is applied to the area on which the hand shaped mark appears. If Axil is knocked unconscious, the spell also fades.
- Passive, Phase:
Phase:
When this take-over is active, Axil receives a 25% boost in his attack, and can "phase" through physical barriers (not magically reinforced). This only applies to body parts that are "taken-over" by Adagio.
Strengths:
Black Knight:
Being of the Dark element, this take-over grants Axil a 10% resist to dark element attacks when active, but only on the area in which the take-over is active.
In the Groove:
Because his magic is completely compatible with his fighting style, Axil can, with relative ease, integrate spells into his fighting style without interrupting the flow of his attacks.
Weaknesses:
