The Twin Arrives[Intro Thread | Social | Open]

Her blonde hair had been bunched up on her head in a bun as she boarded the ship. She was here to follow her sister in the way of a pirate. She honestly didn't care what she became as long as she was able to be around her sister.

Her footsteps here silent and slightly timid. She didn't know what she was getting herself into but she knew that she would be able to be next to her sister. Nothing else mattered. But, honestly all she really cared for was the lack of her presence on the ship and that no one would notice her.

Recently she had been lucky, but she was sure that it wouldn't hold out for forever.

Daniel noticed the girl and looked at her curiously. Taking note of the fact she was boarding the ship and just walking on board, he put his cloak on, and silently tailed her. He didn't know who she was, or why she was here, but after 10 seconds of being silent, he gave up, stepped behind her, flipped his hood off, and said, "Who are you? And why are you here?" He stared at her from his icy blue eyes. He hadn't shaved in two days, so he had a full beard, and he wasn't exactly short. He would appear intimidating to anyone who didn't have steel in their heart. It wasn't his goal to look that way, it just happened sometimes.
He asked, "You realize you're standing on property of the Black Sails with neither asking nor having a... visible purpose right?" His right eyebrow arched as he said this.

Cirven was on the ship watching those who were boarding. New recruits and old members alike all boarded the ship as if it were their new home because in actuality, it was. They would be on the ship more than land itself if things went as well as they were hoped to. They were pirates after all, though Cirven never exactly felt like a pirate but more like a mercenary which wasn't much of a change to his life.

He nose picked up on a scent mixed in with those boarding. A scent similar to one of their own members but at the same time it was not the same. Being a dog demon/devil had its perks with figuring out who someone was by scent. He was even able to tail someone through scent alone. This was different though because not only was the scent different to him but the magical presence of the person threw him off. It felt like someone he had known. Someone he had left behind in the past while he went off to finish his own business. "Alyia...?" His ears perked up as he used his nose to trace the scent while following the magical presence he could feel.

He found the trace of the scent and magical presence in the form of a girl who was being interrogated by another of the members. Cirven vaguely remembered the man but had seen him around and heard his name spoken out.

"Yo. Daniel, right?" He waved his hand to the man to include himself in the conversation. "You look like Euphemia but your scent isn't the same. Also your magical presence is.. Different." He had almost blurted out Alyia's name but he didn't want to assume who the girl was. He did remember what Alyia was but he didn't know the specifics behind what she could do. "I know Daniel had already asked this and I know you are a new recruit here but who are you?" His eyes glared at the girl standing in front of him.

The ship was so interesting with the fans on the side of it that would keep it afloat in the sky, she walked over the deck of the ship watching people as they worked. It was interesting what they were doing, but she was only going to watch for now. She knew that her body was not ready for something like this and she would have to work out and run in order to be in a better shape to help. But the sudden trail that she knew that she had one her back had the girl ducking her head, trying to make it so that they didn't see her.

But this was to no avail.

Hearing the dark voice from behind her the girl turned around to bee a man with steel blue eyes and facial hair. Her eyes went wide and she pointed her palm at the man she knew that she had magic now, though she still didn't know how to use it.

She didn't sense him, but the next moment the man was right next to her. She knew that he was trying to figure out who she was and what she wanted. With stress and panic set in her body she swung her hand towards the man who approached her.

She glanced from person to person. Seeing if she was still in danger. "M-my name is A-aliannah, Euphemia is my sister. w-we're twins."

"Don't be so harsh on the girl will ya Cirvy?" Haia walks up to the small group gathering around Aliannah, with her usual sass in her grin. She was wearing black again, black hair again, the heart tattoo on her left cheek as golden crux earrings hung from her ears. Back then, Haia looked rather timid and shy, but now, she looks like she could strut with swagger. Guess being a pirate does that to a person. Haia leans on her left leg and puts her left hand on her hips, flipping her locks back and putting her grin on.

"Good to meet you Aliannah, can I just call you Alia?" Haia asked, no hostility in her tone unlike her guildmates. Perhaps maybe it was because she face a similar hostile situation with Cirven and the Captian, Anastasia, or it was just Haia being Haia. The world may never know.

"What do you know you really look like Eumy. Well this is gonna be a problem, figuring out which is Alia and which is Eumy. Not like a problem for you though Cirvy, that nose of your is like a dogs, wait you are a dog," Haia laughed to herself.

Daniel caught the girl's hand with his own, which was much bigger, and said, "Easy." He then let it go as Cirven approached. Daniel shook his head at Cirven and said, "Aye, that's me." Then he waited for the girl's response, and was quite suprised at what she said.
"Well, I guess we do need to verify your story. You look alike, but I think we should still ask Euphemia. Never know with all the new magic tricks these days." He turned around, stopped, and then said, "Sorry about the scare by the way. It just... happens."
He turned and walked a few feet back until he heard Haia. He turned around and took a double take. "Whoa Haia, you look... different." He gave what couldn't really be called a smile, but was the equivalent for him right now. More of a smirk. Then he said, "Well, can we trust her, or do we need verification first? Whatcha think?" He looked at Cirven and Haia.

"You are Eu's twin sister? Makes sense why you both smell alike..." Cirven responded back to the girl as Haia walked up and tried to calm the situation. "You do know not too long ago you could barely talk to us much less be in our presence without being filled with fear but not you call us nicknames already and talk like you run the place. Its a good thing to see honestly but don't get too cocky. That will not end well. Trust me." He spoke to Haia after she called him 'Cirvy'. He was used to being called that and did not get annoyed by it so there was no harm there but he did not want the girl to end up at the bottom of the ocean because of her cockiness.

"Aliannah, right?" He brought his attention back to Ali after Daniel had questioned if they could trust her. "I don't know why but even though you have a similar sent to Eu there is something else familiar about you to me. Your magical presence is familiar to me. I don't know why at all though. Do you know anyone named Alyia?" He didn't give her time to answer and kept speaking. "Your answer doesn't matter really because I can tell you don't mean any harm in being here. You will be watched though until we feel we can fully trust you and if not we will have to deal with you. Something tells me that we won't have to do anything drastic to you besides help you with how shy you are. It's not any sort of way a pirate should act, right?" He smiled towards her while trying to avoid showing his teeth which if she saw would probably cause her to jump in fear and take his warm welcome another way.

There were now three people around her. Two men and a woman, but out of all of then the woman seemed to be much more friendly than the rest of them. She moved closer to her as she looked at the other two males.

They didn't seem to trust her. Why? She was telling the truth and nothing but the truth, she was Euphemia's sister through and through! A small pout graced her features as her bottom lip jutted out slightly. What more verification could she give them? Let them have her blood? Go back to the hospital to show that they were related? If the man was like a dog like the female names Haia said then couldn't he vouch for her?

The blonde looked at the dog man as he spoke. Alyia? Who was that? Something within her lurched at the name and butterflies flew into her stomach, she didn't know who Alyia was but why did the name give her that feeling. But not giving her a chance to respond the man continued on talking about how she wouldn't do much to the ship, or something drastic.

He was right. She just wanted to be next to her sister. But she had nothing to say as she looked at them, but she knew that she had to say something. "I promise that I'll carry my weight. But I've been in the hospital for the last several years and until recently I was on the verge of death. So I don't know who this Alyia person is, sorry."

Daniel shrugged, and said, "Welp, if Doggy C here trusts you somewhat, I think we can trust you." He then he pulled out his medical scanner and scanned her. He looked at it, snapped it shut, and put it away. "She's telling the truth. She's just a little stressed out." He then said, "Well, you wanna be a pirate Ali, you have to do this." He pulled out a small jug from a crate labeled 'Newbie Solution.' He tried not to smile and looked at Haia. "Remember this?"

Haia flipped her hair once again, giving a cocky smile. Though she had no response for what Cirven said, she maintain her current composure. She giggles at what Daniel thought of her new look. With a silent friendship you can say, she wraps her arms around Aliannah's shoulder and grabs the jug.

"Well aren't you a bit cruel Ross, then again you and I went through the same thing with a somewhat drunk Captain," Haia looks at the jug, Grog is what its called, looks nasty, but to a certain extent is delicious, unless you are Ross, which Haia remembers his look of disgust. She then looks at Aliannah and holds up the jug infront of her.

"Go ahead, take it down, don't worry its not poison, its more like a mixature of every beer we have back in the Lair you can say, not the most pleasant if you happen to be Ross," Haia laughs before looking back at Ross. "Gimme one would ya? I'll drink it with her so she does not feel alone in her endeavours."

The jug in front of her that had been handed to her sloshed with alcohol. She wasn't much of a drinker. Actually she didn't drink at all really. Looking from person to person before looking back at the jug. Newbie solution. That was what its name was and it was a whole bunch of different kinds of beer.

Though she had never had alcohol something inside of her warned her that it was not a good idea. But this seemed like one of the ways that the guild would trust her. She needed to do this.

The girl next to her asked for one as well. She was going to drink it with her? It wasn't bad? Biting her bottom lip she looked at the woman, a slight glimmer of hope in her eyes that she wouldn't be along on this endeavor.

The group seemed to move to a more welcoming stance on the new recruit with them and Cirven smiled at the sight of Haia helping Aliannah feel more at home. It was time for everyone to know of the new recruit though besides just the few of them who greeted her. "Hey everyone! We have a new recruit here named Aliannah! Give her a aye aye and a swig of grog for her joining!" The men around them all looked towards the male demon and then yelled out with a "Aye!" while each then chugged down their cups of grog.

Cirven even got his own cup of grog and slammed it down his throat then slammed the cup onto a nearby counter where another cup was waiting for him to gulp down which he did with a gasp of air escaping his body after. "Yup... This is the typical life we live here. Hopefully you can get used to it, Ali." He spoke out to her as he waited for another cup. "It's funny. I wasn't the type to drink until I joined this crew but this stuff really doesn't do much for me." He laughed, this time showing his fangs from his mouth for everyone to see. "Well.. Maybe it loosens me up a bit but that's really it."

Daniel passed the nasty brew around, and it wasn't nasty because of the sting, but because of the flavor. He pulled his own bottle of Fireball out, and gave an "Aye" and a swig. He looked at Cirven, and said, "Aye, laddie. That's what alcohol does. It makes you loose." Daniel looked at Ali and said, "What are ye waiting for? Ye should drink it fast, lassie, so you can move on to the good stuff." Daniel sat down and pulled out a pack of cards. He smelt his breath quick and said, "Anyone up for a round of gambling?"

Haia took her share and turns to Aliannah with a big smile. She clinks her jug with Aliannah's before taking a swig. She sighs as she let out air and winks at Aliannah.

"Name is Haia Illie Starstruck, feel free to call me how you like Alia," Haia then looks at Ross. "Gambling? Meh not in the mood, I honestly would put my money in something better than someone else's pocket." She takes anothe swig, the grog was not as effective on her than the first time she had it. Maybe she has gotten use to it. She does favor cidar more.

Taking in a deep breath the girl looked at the liquid again before putting the bottle to her lips and taking a big gulp.

It passed her lips and slid across her tongue before draining down her throat.

It only took a second before the girl was coughing and covering her mouth, bending at her waist. IT WAS DISGUSTING. It was super bitter and there were bubbles in it that make her tongue sting.  Disgusting!

She tried to start to take deep breaths in order to get rid of the passing feelings, but it continued to stay in her mouth. The after taste reminding her of how gross it had been.

She was sure that she had just created a laughing stock of herself.
