romaham
▼
♞
Rank: WeakSpecies: Plant Demon
Type: Plant, Poisonous, Stapelia grandifolia, Unholy
Description:
Strengths:
- Poisonous: Being a poisonous, mutated plant, Romaham takes less damage from magi who wield the element of poison. Any poison spells that are thrown in the direction of Romaham will deal 25% less damage to the creature naturally.
- Mutated: Romaham is a mutated form of the Stapelia grandifolia, or Carrion Plant; sometimes known as the Starfish Plant, Starfish Flower, or Starfish Cactus. Because Romaham is a mutated form of the plant, it has arms, legs, and a body that allow for better movement and action.
- Deadly: Not only is Romaham a creature that takes less damage from the poison element, but is also capable of dealing extra damage with it. Because it is a poisonous creature, all attacks from Romaham have an added poison effect that deal damage to an opponent.
Weaknesses:
- Fire: Romaham is made entirely from plant material, this means that it is still a very highly flammable living being. As a result, Romaham takes 75% more in damage from the fire element than it does any other element found on Earthland.
- Ice and Frost: Plants typically hibernate during the colder seasons, dying off before resuming life when Spring comes around. Because of this, Romaham will take 75% more in damage from ice and frost elements than it would any other element.
- Large: Being a large, mutated plant, it isn't hard to miss Romaham when it's traveling with its partner on jobs and missions. With this in mind, Romaham is a better target for magi who want to assault either it or its partner, but don't want to face its partner yet.
- Blades: Due to Romaham being made entirely from plant material, it is able to be cut more easily with blades from knives, swords, et cetera. Since it cuts more easily from blades, Romaham receives 50% more in damage from anyone who wields a weapon when fighting it.
lamprocapnos spectabilis
▼
Name: Lamproscapnos spectabilis: The Lyre
Rank: D (Maxes at A)
Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: A light, almost minty-green, hue appears at the mouth of Romaham, gathering the plant energy that is contained inside of its body. The hue will slowly grow in size until a visible orb of the same color forms at the tip of its maw, swirling and pulling in energy from the surroundings instead. All organic material that is considered part of the natural world (i.e. flora and fauna) will have its energy absorbed into the orb. Once enough has been gathered, the orb will let off a burst of energy that sweeps across a five (5) meter diameter around Romaham, dealing 100% one (1) below user-ranked spell damage. It is followed by another burst of energy that reaches out to a ten (10) meter diameter, again encircling the plant demon, but only dealing 75% of one (1) below user-ranked spell damage; those hit by the first wave are not affected by the second wave. After that is a third burst of energy that sweeps to a fifteen (15) meter diameter all around Romaham, only dealing 50% of one (1) below user-ranked spell damage; those affected by the first or second wave will not be affected by the third wave. All those caught within this area of effect will receive a poison status effect that deals 10% of one (1) below user-ranked spell damage at five (5) meters, 7.5% at ten (10) meters, and 5% at fifteen (15) meters, and lasts for three (3) posts.
Strengths:
- Wave Emission: The base attack of the ability sends off a wave emission made entirely from plant matter that is birthed from the mouth of Romaham. It comes in waves and can be considered an Area of Effect, affecting those in the epicenter with 100% damage and those outside of the epicenter with 75/50% of damage; 75% for those at ten (10) meters and 50% for those at fifteen (15) meters.
- Magical Energy: Due to the wave emission being made entirely from translucent magical waves of plant matter, it cannot be fought off by physical means. It can be blocked by shields and the like, but in order to entirely prevent it, it would need to be faced with another spell.
- Poisonous: Like Romaham, this attack is poisonous, dealing an extra 10% of user-ranked damage to an opponent upon contact. This poisonous effect will last an upwards of three (3) posts after it has struck the opponent, totaling to an extra 15/22.5/30% in damage.
Weaknesses:
- Negation: Higher-ranking spells or spells that are the opposite of the ability's element will negate the ability's effects on contact. For instance, C-rank spells would be able to negate the effects of the ability because they are higher-ranking spells.
- Less Damage: In any case that the ability could miss its target, the ability will not deal any damage to the targeted person, but rather the environment. As a result, it becomes a wasted attack that Romaham then has to wait two (2) posts in order to use again.
- Fire: Due to the ability being made from plant material, the magical energy is considered highly flammable by fire magi or fire alone. Because of this, when the ability is faced with a fire element attack, it will be reduced to ethernano and no damage will be dealt.
- Ice and Frost: Like all plants, even the plant-based attacks of a plant creature will be weaker against elements of colder temperature. Since the attack is made from plant material, any ice or frost element it faces will reduce it to ethernano and no damage will be dealt.
actaea pachypoda
▼
Name: Actaea pachypoda: White Bane
Rank: C (Maxes at S)
Type: Instant, Plant, Poisonous, Unholy
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Romaham gathers a light, almost minty-green, energy at the base of its maw until it shapes and forms into a glittering orb. Given it decides how it wants to fire off the orb, smaller bits of the orb will come off and fly straight toward the selected target. Each pellet will only deal 5% of user-ranked damage, allowing for a total of twenty (20) pellets to be fired off from the orb. These pellets can reach an astounding 20/35/55/80/105 meters given that they are tiny, one (1) centimeter diameter berries from the Actaea pachypoda plant. If Romaham so decides, it can fire off the pellets in a torrent from the base of the orb, dealing 100% user-ranked damage on impact. Once a pellet hits its target, the target will receive a poison status effect that deals 10% user-ranked spell damage over five (5) posts. The pellets can bounce off of their intended target and hit another person, applying the poison status effect to them, but only 7.5% and lasts for three (2) posts.
Strengths:
- Pellets: Small, white, pellet-like objects are summoned from the mouth of Romaham that can be used as multiple projectiles. This allows Romaham to be able to fire them off individually at different targets or group them together to fire at one single target.
- Poisonous: The tiny pellets that Romaham fires off contain a set of poison that can induce itchiness in a target and cause hives. If a pellet manages to hit the target, the poison not only causes itchiness, but also deals 10% user-ranked damage over five (5) posts.
- Long Range: Because of their tiny size, the pellets can reach a longer range than what Romaham's other ability can reach. This means that Romaham can fire off the pellets to reach targets that are at farther ranges than what is normal.
Weaknesses:
- Fire: Due to the pellets being made of plant material, they are considerably flammable to fire magi or fire alone. As a result, the pellets will be reduced to ethernano upon contact with a fire spell, and deal no damage at all.
- Ice and Frost: As the pellets are made of plant material and plants typically die off or hibernate during the colder seasons, the pellets don't do as well against ice or frost. Since the pellets are weaker against such elements, these elements are capable of reducing the pellets to ethernano and forcing them to deal no damage.
- Tiny: The pellets are rather small pieces of plant matter that, while efficient in being able to go farther ranges and hit more targets, may not always strike. Because of this, 100% user-rank damage may not always be dealt to the target a first intended by the creature.
- Poison Slayers: Poison Slayers will not be affected by the poisonous effect of the pellets and are also capable of sucking the poison out of the pellets. This means that fighting against Poison Slayers is considerably different for the creature and its partner.
