Re: Dreaming of Letters [Job]
It was not too long after Rose played with several children of the city that she tried to leave the whole place and continue on her way back to Magnolia. But as fate would have it, there was still more unexpected work for her to be done. But it was good, as every little bit of experience counted! And the little girl was really happy whenever she could help somewhere, as it showed that she could actually be useful to other people and the society as a whole! Despite being a little kid, she still had plenty of experience from her dreaming after all, so she managed to develop this sense of wanting to be useful somehow pretty early. Much earlier than many other people anyway. It was something good to have when you were trying to become a mage, as it would surely help you along the way. Especially if you were trying to go for famous position like the Rising Stars or perhaps even the Wizard Saints. Only those that were famous among the people and helpful to them could ever hope to achieve those positions! And being the young naive child Rose was, she actually hoped to get into those ranks one day! Well, it certainly was possible. Her older sister managed it, so why could she not? In any case, she had to focus on the task at hand. While simply walking down the road, she noticed a magical vehicle that was smoking rather intensely. A very clear sign that something was very wrong with the machine, and that it would no longer move a single inch. That was surely a problem for the one driving it, as he had a job to do. By his appearance and the logo on his vehicle, it appeared that he was the man delivering mail to everyone in the city. That was indeed a pretty important job, hence why Rose decided to help in the first place. Not that she would not help if it was some kind of a lesser job, but these kinds of problems required a little bit of priority. So the little girl approached the man in uniform who was standing around, looking a little worried.
Hello good sir! I saw you and your state of distress and decided that I should help you fulfill your task despite the failure of your… um… tool!
It was beyond clear that the man was rather amused by the little girl’s speech as she did her absolute best to be professional with him. He was barely holding back his chuckle, not wanting to look rude to Rose as he produced several letters from his little bag of goodies.
”Sure thing kiddo. That would be actually doing me a great service to be completely honest. Each of the letters has a name on it, so you should be able to tell which one belongs to which house by reading the names beside the doorbells.”
Rose took the papers and saluted to the man, quickly running off to the nearby houses. It took a while, but in the end, she managed to find all the correct homes and even got a little rewards for her efforts from the man. Even though she did not expect any. A nice gesture that she greatly appreciated. But now it was finally out of the city and to Rose Garden.
