Job Title: [Character Job] Seulement Pour Toi
Rank: C
Player Requirements: Astrid and Lucius only.
Job Requirements: 2,500 words.
Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description:
Seems it’s time for a little outing for the two siblings. But on the same day they want to spend some quality time together, there’s a huge sale going down in Neutral Grounds! Unable to resist Astrid drags her brother along for the ride, much to his dismay.
Don’t get lost in the crowds, carry the purchased products, and most importantly… Survive the day!
Enemies:
Weak: Bags:
What do girls do best? Buy lots of useless stuff, of course. Every time this dice is rolled Astrid will place two bags on Lucius to carry, each weighing what seems to be the equivalent of 10 bricks.
… Just how strong is that girl?
Normal: Crowds:
It’s not just Astrid that wants to sink her teeth into those juicy deals, it seems nearly everyone living in the area does too! Because of this it’s easy to get caught in the crowds of busy shoppers. Fight the crowd, or get lost in it.
Strong: Guards (x2):
The guards who work at the store are rather irritated today, having to watch over so many people. Because of this they’ll find even the smallest reason to put you in those cuffs. Since magic is canceled out in Neutral Grounds, it seems you’ll have to find another way out of this one… Though not recommended, if you do choose to fight, they can be easily taken out in 2 C-rank hits and deal 2 C-rank damage with their batons.
(If boss is rolled, it becomes a Strong)
Reward:
5,000 jewel

What a perfect day for being out and about. In what seemed like forever, the sun was once again blessing them with its warmth.
Lately the musician had noticed it was getting colder, even while the sun was out. Another reminder that summer was at an end, and fall was settling in its place. But today the warm rays were finally reaching Earthland once again, melting away the harsh cold, even though every now and again a strong gust of chilling wind managed to numb her exposed legs. But it did not matter. When the wind wasn't blowing, it was still rather warm despite how far into autumn they were getting. It was no beach weather, but it was better than what was to come when winter once again wrapped its chilly claws around the land.
In short, it was the best shopping weather. The cold was sure to push aside the newbie bargain searchers and keep the more experienced in check, making Astrid's plans that much easier.
For whatever reason in Neutral Grounds this day, they were having a gigantic sale. And by gigantic, it was... Whatever a scale up from gigantic is. The biggest of the biggest. Every shop in the entire city was taking part in this event. 25% off, 50% off, even 75% off. You name the discount, they were having it. So of course a veteran shopper and bargain hunter like Astrid would be drawn into it like a moth to a felt-covered flame.
Huge signs littered the outsides of stores, their words written in bold and colorful markers. People dressed in silly costumes and clothing, holding free samples in their hands shouted about their deals to the passers-by, trying to entice the people with their fancy wordings and promises of 'the best products for the best price'. With all the things happening all at once anyone who walked by would have been just as hypnotized as a child in a candy store. And one of those people usually would have been the slayer with her adhd-like personality. Even passing leaves or noises in the distances were enough to distract her normally. But somehow, for once, the violinist seemed strangely focused, unfazed by all the loud distractions nearby.
Pale arms swinged back and forth, moving with every large step she took. The familiar hum of Frère Jacques vibrated happily from her lips as she closed her eyes, continuing her way down the cobblestone street with a content expression upon her freckled face. It wasn't every day she felt so... At peace. Like all the stress from her shoulders had suddenly fallen off and sank into the depths of the ocean to never see the light of day again. Recently with all the positions she had gained the light mage had been overworked, obvious by the constant dark circles under her eyes hidden horribly with make up. An ace, a rising star. Both were such big positions, and the work was getting the the young wizard. So when days like this came along, being able to hang out with her brother and shop without a care in the world? She felt strangely... Like another person. It was weird, having the weight taken off of your shoulders. To suddenly not have to worry about deadlines or paperwork. Like there was something missing. But at the same time, it was refreshing to kick back and enjoy herself. How it use to feel back when she was just a 'nobody'.
Tomorrow, she would have to go back to being a 'somebody'. And at the back of her mind, she knew this. But for today, but for today, she was hoping to just feel like a 'nobody' once more.
Continuing her joyful stride she ceased her humming, looking back towards the taller man behind her.
"What store do you think we should hit first?" Astrid questioned. She had been the one to drag her brother all the way out here in the first place, and she did feel slightly guilty for it, knowing he hated such large places and crowds of people. But well... He was strong. And she was going to need help carrying everything back. So to make up for it, she supposed he could be the one to choose which store they entered first. It made sense... To her at least.

Though slightly breezy due to the starting of the autumn season, he wasn't to bothered by the cold, plus he wore a lot of clothes. A hoodie with the hood pulled up atop a cap, under those was sunglasses, and lastly some baggy sweatpants tucked into some lace up combat boots. All the articles of clothing colored black of course, to be expected of the young adult. The darkest color was all he ever wore, figuring it suited him rather well. Though his usual attire didn't help him not gather up the attention of passersby, worried murmuring and nervous glances. Though he tried to ignore them, keeping his blue/green gaze glued to the ground in front of himself, but still able to see the Golden Phoenix Ace in his peripheral vision. She looked chipper as always, very happy because of the major sales that was happening. Of course, he wasn't one to like shopping, another thing that was completely opposite about the siblings. Considering she loved it, or at least seemed to. Her crimson optics never stayed on something to long, to many things to see. It was hard to prevent himself from smirking, even though all the torture they have both been through, and the work that she was now flooded with being an Ace, she still kept up a good attitude. Which made the miserable teen slightly happier, knowing that even though he is down in the dumps constantly and is at the brink of a mental breakdown, at least she is happy.
Like I said, the cold wasn't really bothering him, but there was something else. Which you can probably guess what even if I don't say, if you know him of course. Sunlight, it hurt his eyes and lately it seemed to be burning his skin more then it used to. And not in a natural way, Lucius guessed that it was a side-affect of his magic. Making him a being of darkness the more and more he uses it, and making him weaker to light. It was rather annoying, but so far, he has dealt with it. He wouldn't be to surprised if his eyes became totally intolerant to the light soon, because even with his hat and sunglasses, plus looking away and sticking to the shadows, his eyes still hurt. Also wouldn't be surprised if he became sort of allergic to the light, it would be his luck that it happens at the same time.
Taking his mind off of the things that might or might not happen, he looked around more, crowds. Maybe he should've kept himself trapped in his own mind, it was much better then this. Even in his crazy brain. Hordes of people as far as he could see, which, with his contact lenses was actually pretty far. Trying to swallow down his nausea, he wiped his sweaty palms on his sweat shirt. Though being extremely tall and rather heavy because of it, he was still being pushed around a lot. It was stressful, uncomfortable, and of course he hated to admit it, sort of scary. He was never one to like crowds that much, and could never deal with being in them. Many voices in his head told him to get the hell out, the other half told him to kill everybody in the crowd, then it would be quiet. But he managed not to do either of this, instead he just gripped his sister's small hand, and tried to tune out the other noises and listen to only her. Though even for the boy, who was rather good at ignoring people and things, it was difficult. He just barely heard her question over the sound of all the people of which surrounded him. Trying to ignore the nauseous feeling that he felt in his stomach and throat, he spoke, which was very annoying to do when it felt like you were going to puke. Resisting to urge to ask her to leave, he suggested a store, which was surprisingly not food. Though considering he felt like he was going to lose his previous meals, maybe it wasn't so surprising.
"How about in there?" he pointed towards a clothing and shoe store. Selling both male and female clothing, though he highly doubted he would find something his size, he might as well try. Maybe the crowd wouldn't be as bad in there. Not really hearing what she said, he let himself be pulled into the store he suggested. Though they were barely in there for a minute when a couple of security guards noticed them. Which wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't so bad. From other people's point of view, it probably looked a little suspicious, or a lot suspicious. A young woman, who knew what they thought her age was, escorted by an almost seven foot man dressed in all black along with somethings covering his face. Doesn't look shady at all (that is sarcasm if you can't tell). The two guards made their way through the slightly smaller crowd, and got the attention of the two young adults. "Excuse me sir we're going to have to ask you a few questions" one said, while the other asked if Astrid was okay and if she wanted to be with this man. Or was she being abducted or whatever, even if she said no, it wouldn't be likely that they would listen. Though it couldn't really be seen, the boy's eye started twitching slightly, and he gritted his teeth. Couldn't he go anywhere without getting asked whether not he was doing something shady. Though to be completely honest, he probably would be doing something bad. I mean he is an assassin after all, with no care for people's lives and well being. But still, it was annoying.
