The small six year old child had endured a very trying day in the past twenty four hours. Frey started yesterday morning by wandering off to train with her dragon mentor, Hemlock, those sessions were never easy, he pushed her far as he could despite her young age, but she didn’t mind since he was making her stronger. Yesterday thought, he had made her go partake in a battle tournament after training her, apparently to gauge how he should proceed in her training. When she returned he went right back to her training! She had never done a double session with the large beast before, and it drained all her energy, she was unable to even walk back to the guild on her own, silver had been required to carry her back once it was all over and done with. So it was no shock the child had slept in by several hours today, at least it wouldn’t be shocking to anyone who knew what she had been up to, which really the people with any slight idea were the other four slayers in the guild. Regardless? The little girl had slept in by a good half the day, just slumbering in her bed with her wolf laying at it’s foot, awake for most of the time, watching over her as she always did. The large beast? Noticed something off about the child as she slept, something just seemed to be not quite right, but it was not something that would drive him to seek out help, he didn’t feel as if she was in danger, just as if something was happening to her beneath the sheets.
“I can barely feel my own body! Hehe, morning boy.” the wolf jumped up soon as she showed the first sign of being awake, nuzzling her cheek and licking it, trying to rouse her faster so he would stop feeling this sense of something different. In the end something had changed about her. Frey swung her feet over the bed once her companion leaped down to fetch her clothing, moving sluggishly due to the soreness in her body. “I am not training again today.” she stated it, even though Hemlock had not called for her, going to pulling on a pair of sneakers, but finding they would not fit onto her feet. Actually, nothing she was trying to wear seemed to want to go on her body! Try hard as she might, the child just could not get anything the wolf brought over to actually fit onto her body. Just yesterday? All of the little bit of clothing she owned had fit her, and now suddenly nothing seemed to go on her at all or if it did the way it fit certainly wasn’t right. This was a major problem, what was she suppose to do. Frey was starting to get frightened, scared that she swelled from bruises she got during training or something, that she was injured or something. Quickly she folded her sheet in half and wrapped it around her body, tying it and holding it to be sure it would stay in place on her. Staying in her room would bring no answers for whatever happened.
Small feet thundered against the wooden surface of the tree’s fairy tail lived in, the little girl running towards her mother’s room. Kanix was the only person she could think of right off the bat who could help her with whatever was happening. “Mom? I have a problem, none of my clothes are fitting me.” the little girl was knocking on the guildmaster’s door, tiny tears in her eyes. Frey could not see what had happened herself, so she was assuming something must be wrong. However? The truth was clear to anyone looking at her, overnight the child had somehow aged up to a stage right before puberty, gaining weight and height to the point where her older clothing would never fit onto her again.
