River Village is a place surrounded by water, and as such offered a false sense of protection. While it would be a bitch to attack this place from the outside, which was the benefit of being on a river, it was also a bitch to flee. They essentially trapped themselves in a fishbowl; they had no escape for when they began their attack; yes, they. Today Vlad was not along; with his arm around her waist he walked down the pier with Lamya. It was an usual sight, to see Vlad being accompanied on a job; sure, he couldn't do his pre-job activities, but that was fine. He found an odd comfort in her presence, he found her a rather interesting person. This was going to be an interesting job assignment, and he was pretty sure he would be gaining a bit more infamy than usual.
As he walked down the pier it was apparent that the Rune Knights, a seemingly run down organization, still held refuge in this village. How could he allow for such pests to roam this land, attempting to enforce what they claimed the be justice; what they claimed to be the correct, and righteous path. Their members would go out and slaughter thousands, without batting an eye. They would commit crimes just as bad as Vlad would, and do it all in the name of justice. How pathetic. How did the law allow for such a group to exist? It was as though you paid Dark Mages to enforce their laws, which in and of them self were corrupt. They would be taught a lesson, though that would be rather apparent at this point.
Moving his hand down her waste he pinched Lamya's ass, letting out a light laugh. Leaning down he would whisper into her ear, "Well, we have to kill the Major, and while there is a path of least resistance where is the fun in that? I do wish to cause chaos here, start a bit of a panic. Kill whoever you please, they have a very small number of options of escape. They trapped themselves for us, love, lets enjoy ourselves." He would smirk, kissing her cheek.
Now, standing up, he would examine the area; it was as one would expect, an average day; though it was a tad hotter than average. The sun beat down on the pier, and simply reflected off of the water, back to the pier. It was as though they had entered a sauna. Even with this it was under eighty degree's, rather comfortable. Looking around there was an abundance of people nearby, their souls all merging into a conglomerate. While it became this giant soul there were points at which the color would be different, in fact, each soul held its own color. While they all were almost identical there were some, like mages, that held a different colored soul; this could best be explained by the way Ethernano interacted with that persons soul; sure, one could make an assumption on the magic they used based on this, but this did not take into consideration the specific variation that they may use.
"Well, I suppose the quicker we get this done the quicker we can have a bit more fun." He chuckled, looking around. The rune knights shouldn't offer much of a problem for them. In all honesty it seemed that this would be an average day for Vlad; some simple slaughtering, not much else. Maybe he would hear a new sort of excuse as to why he they should live? Maybe they would actually entertain him, before their death. He could only hope so.
Now, the duo would be standing at the center of the pier, of the village. The village was rather small and it only took them a few minutes to walk to this point; all the while they would appear to be just an average couple, passing through for some sight seeing. How ignorant some people were, to make simple assumptions when the truth went so much deeper than that; it was what lead to so many deaths thus far; everyone made such ill informed, idiotic assumptions and would act on them. This is why Vlad was able to do what he has done thus far, that along with his rather genius planning. Please, do be on standby. Who knows when we shall need your help, or if you simply wish to join in. do try to enjoy yourself, Azriel. Understand?
As you asked, sir. I shall join in if I see it fit. Please, do enjoy yourselves. Azriel would reply, it seemed he would rather simply watch for a bit.
Suit yourself, bud. Vlad would reply. Having a telepathic bond was very useful. Being able to communicate so much, without any words being spoken.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Allow me to introduce myself!" He spoke, taking a few steps forward, jumping atop a table. "I am Vladimir Chao, please do try to remember this name, not so much the face. If you all knew my face it would truly annoy me; I wouldn't be able to wander around as I have been. Well, I would suggest those who do not associate with the Rune Knights run! Why kill the innocent? I cannot blame your ignorance for this, well I could, but I am feeling generous today."
As he spoke people dismissed the man, assuming he was simply a crazed male.
"Well, Okay then..." He sighed, stepping down. This was good enough for him; have people assume him to be a lunatic. Made things a bit easier. They would remember it.
