She knew how taking a job worked now, at least the little girl was fairly sure she knew how it went. Of course? The only way to be sure was to try and take one on her own without the aid of her adoptive mother. Kanix had done her best to explain the process of completing requests to the little girl, but there was only so much a parent could do in order to prepare a child to take their own leap into something. Frey would be taking her true plunge into wizard work today, attempting to secure and complete a job without the aid of any other fairy tail members expect for her companion, Silver. White sandals laced up to right beneath her knees, scuffed against the ground with small noises as she shifted about in front of the job board. If she picked something too difficult then certainly failure would await her! However if she picked something too easy her guild-mates might think she had been afraid to pick anything good when she got back. Rune really had no easy way to pick which job she was going to accept, either direction she went things could go awfully wrong for a child like herself. Maybe this was not the best idea in the end, perhaps she needed to do another mission with her mother. No! She had promised herself that it would be done today, she didn't want to end up going on a family mission before she took her first solo. If Frey was going to do this? It was now or never.

“Silver, why don't you pick our job?” A large bluish head rose from its position on the wood beneath him, the creature she had spoken to was large and fearsome in appearance, laying down he matched her height and he was armored nicely. Words rung through to his pointed ears as the wolf stumbled from the land of dreams at the beckon of his mistress's voice. Silver as she had called him, rose slowly in aim to amble over to the job board beside the nicely dressed tyke. Honestly? The male did not want her going on any jobs without Kanix, the guild master was now the only person besides himself that he truly trusted to protect Frey! Plus his precious companion was young, innocent, in his opinion she was nowhere near ready to do any of this stuff. However he could not make her stop at this point, all he could do was be there to protect the child no matter how much stupidity she chose to engage herself in. Yet one major issue remained, she requested him to pick the task they would embark on, but he was only an animal who before being rescued by her, had been feral. Reading? Was decently beyond his abilities and not an enjoyable task regardless of his lack in capability to do so. Frey was unaware of that simple fact, so she would not change her mind, he had to go on blind faith selecting one mission that would hopefully not prove to harsh for them. Dread in his very soul, the male lunged forward and tore one paper off the board, wishing Kanix had not undone his work at preventing Frey from discovering she could do this to begin with.

A small hand took the normal sized piece of paper from the mouth of her giant friend, unfurling it slightly since his jaws had crumbled it somewhat. Staring down at the page, she read slowly due to her young age, mind processing the information at the steadiest pace it could accomplish. Apparently some dangerous man was on the loss in the sewers somewhere, already they had secured one Mage but the city guard wanted two because the last man to go in came back dead. Truthfully this seemed risky, but silver had picked it, now it was theirs so they had to do it! “Alright.” At the very least she would not actually be alone on this quest since they'd secured a wizard from another guild! No lost face with her guild and someone else to go on this dangerous task with her, it seemed like it could work for the female.

“Let's go silver.” Expect from actually getting a move on? They had nothing to do, anything they owned that could be brought with, was already on, considering the two owned so little. Frey struggled for a few seconds getting onto her mounts back, jaws delicately picking her up and placing her there himself. “Thanks.” Sometimes being so small compared to the over four foot wolf, ended up being a major drag! Most of the time the little girl prayed her friend was full grown so he would not suddenly get taller on her. Once the wolf had Rune on his back, the beast turned to exit the guildhall, head out so they could go to the gate that lead back to fiore. Even if the wolf could teleport easily, it was more efficient to travel to the portal by paw, thought it was something no normal canine could do. Silver was experienced and clever, so getting down from the trees where fairies roamed, was no trouble, simply hooking his claws into the tree and slowly descending as Frey hugged her body flat to him, in order to avoid falling. Once the two arrived at the ground, she sat up and directed him to start running, his senses as a wolf aiding them in avoiding the beasts that roamed the forest floor.

Silver was swift to begin with, but he was also capable of teleporting short distances with his rider, so the travel to hargron, had been a swift adventure once the child asked for directions from some kind stranger. That unknown person? Would be left wondering for the rest of their life, why a five year old was out on her own, riding a giant Icy looking wolf. Actually tons of people wondered that, people of the town looking at the pair strangely. Of course it was to be expected in the end, since they had likely never seen a rune wolf like silver before, since the species only existed in the area surrounding the town of earth mates. All of it looked even more odd, since his rider was smaller than him. However this little girl had his heart for so long as they would both exist in any form.

“This should be the meeting place.” The child gulped slightly as she pulled the reigns to cause him to stop moving, right outside and entrance to the sewers that had been pried open. Now all they needed to do, was wait for the second Mage and hope no fit was thrown over her age or companion. Of course she also had to worry about being a dark Mage, but she didn't know it was some form of issue quiet yet, though her guild mark was hidden by her dress.

The assassin had somehow was now little bar that he had found his way into, not sure how he got there, but here he was. He felt rather sick with a very strong headache, so he took a wild guess in saying that he was recently drunk, because this felt like a hangover. It would also explain the memory loss, this got annoying, he has been getting drunk a lot lately. And he doesn't even like alcohol that much, but it helped him in a way, if only for a little while, it got rid of his pain. Plus when he fell asleep he didn't have nightmares, or if he did he just forgot them, the pleasures of being drunk I suppose. Though the downfall for him being the fact that he has to drink a lot to get remotely drunk, and I mean a lot, his height is to blame for this. And for him he barely has to drink anything to get a headache, so you can figure out that he has extremely painful hangovers. Thankfully the bartender knew that he had this hangover, being the one to serve him all of his drinks the night before, so he let him stay and rest in the quiet of the closed bar. Giving him some medicine and water, an occasional nice person was favorable every once in a while.
Sitting up, figuring he was well enough to get up and do something now, he climbed off of the booth chair and yawned. Glancing around the pub, he made his way over to the bar table, getting the man's attention, he payed him. Though before he could manage to leave this quaint little restaurant, he noticed a wanted poster, usually he wouldn't stop to look at these. Figuring this was more of a legal mages' job to deal with these people, himself, though his face not included, is on quite a few wanted posters. Usually know by the name 'Sicarius', of which was his dead families name, and literally meant 'assassin', in Latin. His family wasn't really the type to hide their position, so the last name meaning their occupation wasn't a weird thing, especially because that is usually what last names mean anyways. Also no use hiding your an assassin family, when everybody in the town already knows this, but why do I continue talking about a town that is just known by a few rumors? The reasoning of why he stopped to look was two things specifically, it had no face on it, so he could already tell this person wasn't careless. Second thing was their title, 'Hydro-Arsonist', quite the oxymoron, it interested the young man. Though it required two people to take this job, because the city guard was worried with only one person, they would die, like every other weakling that decided to take this job. Figuring he should just deal with it, he walked to the meeting place for this job, hoping that the person he would be working with wouldn't be to unfavorable. But who was he kidding, he didn't like anybody, and luck was always hiding away from him.
Do refer to the previous sentences, luck was not on Lucius' side. Two of his least favorite things, and he had to do a job with them. A child, and an animal, just great, he had a feeling his headache would only worsen. Walking up to the green haired girl who was about three to four feet smaller then himself, he friendly smiled, one of his infamous smiles that almost no one could see through. Kneeling down beside her, he looked at her with his 'kind' eyes and spoke in a soothing and comforting tone. "So you are who I'm working with then?" he asked with a slight chuckle afterwards, little did nobody know, besides maybe the animal which are natural lie and evil detectors, there was something not right behind this laugh.

The young girl stood idly near the crease of her massive companions neck, the beast leaning towards her in a protective manner. Clearly if anyone made a wrong move towards the green haired child? Such a monster stationed beside her, was going to attack brutally without any form of mercy towards whoever tried to take it’s most precious being away. A small hand reached up to play with the flower crown upon her head, brushing the petals as she needed something to do regardless of whatever she was up to. Going on her first mission without her adoptive mother? Was becoming more of a nerve wracking incident than she had expected it to become initially, so touching the soft petals, part of nature, it was a very good way to bring herself back down, especially when added to the rumbling of Silver standing behind her small form. She could do this, she’d done lot's of thing’s just herself and the rune wolf, if anyone could help her successfully complete her first mission ‘solo’ than it was the large male. Tiny arms wrapped around a neck they could never fully contain, a small childish giggle escaping as he licked her cheek in bid to aid her comfort. Even now? Nothing could change how close they were and how much solace they provided for each other, so long as they had that, it would be alright, this mission would be done and they would both come out alright. It had to be like that.

With the two of them reassured by each other, Frey and Silver planted themselves there like stone statues, waiting for whoever would accompany them into the sewers. Of course, they would never like going into them due to the rank scent they could detect from even this far away, but this would end up fun in the end. Every single mission she'd be on so far had some fun aspect to it after all, why should this one be any different. The little girl looked up and to the side as she heard footsteps approaching them. Was this the man who would be accompanying them on this job? Frey didn't know for sure yet and she clearly didn't want to make a rash assumption. Despite being a child in appearance and existence? She was a shockingly mature child, who kept the teachings of her magic close, and barely possessed the hyper nature that children of her age normally held. Well trained one might say.

“I’m Frey and this is my companion, Silver.” Her voice clearly showed her young age, but the partial bow she did with her hands held lady like in front of her, suggested an older level of maturity. Right about than? Silver decided he hated their new partner and lunged forward snarling and baring his fangs. The wolves only objective in life was to protect Frey who had saved his life when she was younger than current! So if he got an inkling he could not trust someone who was nearing the child, he instantly and severely got aggressive with them. “Silver?!” Wide eyed the green opticed girl took a step back instead of rushing to stop her pet, by now she had learned to trust his instincts when it came to people. Frey let herself think slowly, eyes focusing towards the man. “Stand down boy. We still have to work with him even if I trust your instincts.” A small hand moved forward and pet his chest lightly cooing as she jumped up to sit backwards on him, turning herself around cautiously with a smile as she stroked his head. “Don't worry long as you don't make an aggressive move on me, he won't do that again. I'm very sorry he dislikes you so strongly. He's really just trying to protect me , it's what he does.” The earthmate spook up with a small voice, looking up at the male with a gentle expression. Even if just for this mission? They still had to get along. “Why don't you lead the way in?” She gestured to the sewers as she spoke, knowing her companion would not like this man on his tail, and would thus likely refuse to enter first. Hopefully this thing ended up alright, to have it start this way, clearly worried the little Mage.

Of course, it was to be expected of an animal to be untrusting of him, unlike humans they could smell that something was off with him. That was why animals tend to steer clear of him, knowing that he was something to be feared and that you shouldn't mess with him or get on his bad side. So to please the wolf he stood back up, brushed off his knees, and stood a couple feet away from the young wizardess who was rather surprised by her companion's sudden change in attitude. Listening to the soft voice of the young girl, he did as she requested of him, and walked over to the sewer grate. Kneeling down he reached down and pulled off the cover with little to no effort, being rather strong, he wasn't to bothered by moving the large metal cover. Sliding it aside, he entered in feet first and climbed down the ladder. Not taking the time to finish climbing down, he let go and landed on the wet ground, bending his knees so not to hurt himself. Not that it was really that long of a fall for somebody who is almost seven feet tall, that monstrous height occasionally came in handy, like in this instance. Though most of the times, it was just a very large inconvenience.
Resting his large pale white hand on his hip, he awaited the arrival of the young girl, waiting for her to climb down the ladder. Watching her with his sharp, cruel and calculating blue green gaze, shifting it away from her when she finally reached the bottom. Turning around he looked down the large pathway that led deeper into the sewers. It was extremely hard to see, the halls of the underground only being lit by the occasional light that hung from the ceiling every so often. Taking a deep breath, breathing in the putrid scent of the disgusting sewers of which the three of them resided in, he activated his powers. The whites of his eyes turning the darkest shade of black, and veins of the same color spread out form his eyes onto the skin around them. Him doing this made it so he could easily see everything around him, it was as if there was now a perfect source of light shining through the sewers, without actually shining light. Though this released his aura ever so slightly, like it always did when he activated his powers, probably making the wolf even more wary of him, if that was possible. Ignoring the usual pulsing that caused pain to his eyes and wherever the veins touched on his skin. Placing his large hands within his pants pockets, his mechanical right hand found the switchblade that he always held with him, and gripped it. Ready to pull it out whenever it was needed.
Leading the way through the dark sewers, he stayed silent, but also tried not to act like himself. Being all intimidating and angry, and actually tried to seem approachable, for she still was unaware of his affiliation. Yes they were more cautious around him due to Silver, proclaiming that he was not to be trusted, but they weren't all that informed still. And for the most part, the assassin would like to keep it that way.
