Takumi's Secondary Training (private)

Takumi waited as patiently as he was able, ready to begin. He was excited, because today was the day he would train to achieve a secondary magic! He had asked Jiyu to help, since her own Secondary Magic was similar to his. The young Slayer looked around the clearing he was waiting in, taking a deep breath and smiling. It was always calming to be in nature. Nature was his refuge when he was having a rough time, it always made him feel better. And he had chosen to be out here, in nature and away from the city, because he wanted to be somewhere where he was less likely to hurt anyone if he ran wild. He had also chosen to leave Wist and Coal at home for this reason. With a sigh he fiddled with the amulet at his neck.

He had to cast all thoughts of others aside if he was going to train in this magic. He couldn't allow distraction if he was going to train. A distracted mind led to sloppy work while training. He took a deep, calming breath and relaxed himself, loosening up his muscles. He rolled his shoulders and put his scythe aside so it wouldn't get in the way during the training. The large scythe was far too big to hold onto during training. Takumi ran one hand through his icy white hair. He hoped he would be able to get through this without going on a rampage or anything. The mage sat down to wait for Jiyu, closing his eyes and leaning against the nearest tree.
