Strange Vulcans ( Job, Frey)

Takumi looked around the forest and shivered. It gave him the creeps every time he came back here, to his birthplace. He pulled his cloak tighter about him and turned to look at the small girl who was his job companion. He hoped she knew what she was doing, because spooky forest could get dangerous quick. His pet nuzzled his hand beside him, the shapeshifter in his wolf form. "Thanks, Wist." He loved his pet for coming with him, Wist hated spooky forest. "Frey? Are you ready? Because if so we should probably find those Vulcans. " The short Slayer fixed his wide blue eyes on Frey, hoping that they could get this job done quickly and without much trouble. Though that probably wasn't possible in spooky forest. There were always more monsters to fight here. He ran one hand through his spiky white hair, and fiddled with the green spiral pendant about his neck with the other.

He began to walk slowly, hopefully Frey would follow behind him as he moved deeper into the forest. He kept one hand on his pendant, and the other on his scythe, Sakura-no-hana, in case they were attacked as they searched for the Vulcans. The large scythe was strapped to his side, which looked odd, but it was easy to reach it there. And he knew he would need it before the job was over. The Slayer was tense as he scanned the are for any signs of the Vulcans.

Leaves crunched underfoot and birds chirped in the tree’s as if this was some normal day with nothing else going on besides life. Most often? That was one thing she envied about lower animals, they never seemed to worry, expect when death stared them. However not all animals were that lucky, Silver for instinct, her rune wolf, was an highly intelligent social species, protect race. Every single day she spent with him by her side, made the little girl feel safe enough to venture out on dangerous quests like the one she was starting today, as if they were nothing more than simple tasks. While she had yet to secure another weapon for herself, the child knew so long as her and the large wolf she rode on were together, nothing could take them down anyways! Eyes wandered up to the cloak member of her guild who had gotten her out here with him, finger’s digging into pale blue fur. “Why are you uneasy?” Frey may be young but she was very mature and perceptive for her age or maybe it was because she was so young that both thing’s could be existent in her. “I was born ready, just waiting on you! Silver track.” The little girl encouraged her companion to start sniffing the ground and attempting to track the beasts they had been sent here to deal with, though she didn’t exactly know what dealing with something meant.

“Hey do you think that’s a piece of the food they stole?” her wolf suddenly stopped moving, his face nuzzled towards the ground as his maw took in the gushy piece of fruit he’d found. “Silver I don’t think you should eat that.” and with that she hugged around his neck attempting to pull the wolves head up so he would quick eating the food, hugging tightly, hoping it wasn’t something toxic to him.

"Yes I do, Frey. Let's keep following the trail." Said Takumi, helping the girl pull her wolf away from the rotting fruit before encouraging his own pet to sniff out the trail. Wist followed it with his nose to the ground, followed by Takumi. The shapeshifter had excellent tracking skills, he was used to tracking things in blizzards. Takumi followed the shapeshifter with blue eyes narrowed. This seemed almost too easy... he hoped nothing would go wrong here. But just that moment a cry echoed throughout the trees. Vulcans! They had found them. They seemed particularily interested in Frey, which caused Takumi to step in front of her.

These vulcans were going down. Takumi grabbed his scythe and twirled it expertly through the air. Sakura-no-hana shone in the dim light of the forest, as Takumi swung it faster and faster until it was a blur of red, black and grey. He wasn't letting these vulcans get away with stealing any more food, that was for sure. The slayer advanced menacingly towards the Vulcans, ready to fight. His blue eyes narrowed he took up a proper fighting stance, his black cloak swirling about him. His white hair shone like a beacon in the darkness as he waited for the Vulcans to make a move.

So he believed that the beasts they were after had been the one's to leave this food trail after all. With that fact in consideration? She removed one hand from Silver's reign's, giving the wolf permission to simply follow after the rest of the team, instead of being directed to do so. Right now? She needed her hand to cast a spell if something came to attack them, so she couldn't direct him. However the bond between them was strong enough she could very easily just simply not need to direct him like that, he could very well know what she wanted without the direction! Silver walked swiftly, flicking his ears as he tried to figure out when and where the volcans were going to come from, huffing out angrily at the male who had aided in pulling his large head away from the fruit he wanted to snack upon. Honestly? Frey's new team-mate was over rated and uninvited in his opinion, the wolf wanted to see this boy fall down a hole somewhere, and not come out. Yet this is what the wolf had thought of even Kanix at first, he was just so used to being the only one who could protect Frey, that he had a hard time trusting other's could aid in that task at all.

The little girl became frightened when several of the large monkey like beasts seemed to take far too much interest in her for comfort. "Don't let them touch me." it looked like they wanted to take her with them for some reason, and she really was not alright with that! Now she was very happy she had not chosen to try something like this alone. "These thing's are scary!" she really didn't want to encounter these evil looking monkey's again after this! "Alright Silver" she spoke up, slowly dismounting him giving the wolf permission to lunge at one of the monkey's, while she opened her palm to prepare her first spell, an elemental blast that looked like dark energy, ready to be unleashed on one of the beasts. She really hated what the spooky forest did to her energy blast.
