Lord Frederick & Soleice vs Leapflight & Riopony

The silence of the empty arena gave off an eerie vibe when standing in. Usual during the day this place was filled with people watching the different battles between mages. But now at night there was a soft peaceful wind blowing through it.
Frederick didn't really now why he was here, the only thing he knew was that Hirana spoke to him the other day only saying to meet him at the arena at night before she ran off.

'Tsk position in the Magic Council and still she rans off without explaining everything.' mumbled Frederick. He pulled the hood of his cloak tighter around his head, so that his face was completely covered in a shadow and not to be seen.

Ebony walked into the arena. The darkness swelled around her as she looked at the first figure who stood before her. Hirana had wanted to battle against her and Tori but she didn't know who the other was. She looked at the man with the hoodie and stared at him. She wasn't overely happy with this arragement as Hirana was already a B rank Mage. But, hey, she liked to be challanged. She stood in teh darkness as she waited for her partner. As she looked up into the sky she was that Goddess had started to cry, "For teh Love of Ra, it's raining" she muttered as she covered her head with her backpack.

Hirana leaned upon the wall that resided in the shadowy corner of the Arena. "Hirana, Isssss it feeding time?" hissed Kinana as she slithered to Hirana's side. "Not this time Kinana, Ebony and Tori are my very close friends." said Hirana with a smile. Hirana walked out of the corner with Kinana slithering beside her. Gripping Frederik firmly by the shoulder, she nodded at him. "It seems that you have heeded my suggestion Freddie. Don't let me down." said the Council woman as she playfully punched him on the shoulder. Hirana stood there wondering when Tori was arriving.

Tori shuffled into the arena squinting, fighting at night was going to be a pain but at least her animals had pretty good night vision, she scowled as she saw Hirana and a cloked figure at the other side if the arena , she was not to confident about this duel seeing as she and Ebony were only D-rank mages, but Hirana had been pestering her and Ebony to fight her and Tori was fed up with saying no so decided her best shot was just to wing it and give the battle her best shot, I mean Hirana wouldn't feed them to her snake would she? Tori squeaked thinking of the possibility of being eaten by an animal, if worst came to worst mabye she could convince the snake to make a pact with her, she shook her head no way Kirana was as loyal to hirana as Tori's summoned animals. Tori squinted over to where Ebonys figure stood hunched over under her backpack, Tori was glad to see she hasn't broken it badly in her fight against Ebony. she huffed annoyed cringing as rain drops fell onto her she was terrified of water and was pretty sure if the arena flooded she wouldn't stand a chance, shed probably just freeze up and be totally useless, it sucked that Ebonys lineage enabled her to manipulate water, at least Tori's own lineage feline senses would hp get see in the dark a bit, but she knew it would last long and was reluctant to use it. Tori looked back over at her opponent, she had a creaky feeling that this darkness wasn't just because it was night and was blaming it on that creepy hooded figure, Tori shuddered with unease , why did Hirana have to choose such a creepy parter. Tori shook get head and walked over to Ebony wondering what she had in mind as their battle tactic, she did have longer to observe them.

'ah you dragged me out here for a fight, how bothersome' he said to Hirana with his cold voice he turned towards the two other mages and observed them for a little bit. 'Hmm my name is Lord Frederick it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. But i want to ask you, are you two sure you want to do this...it can become quite dangerous you know' his last words echoed a little bit through the arena. He started to emit a dark aura till it became vaguely visible. Frederick was anxious it was quite a while since he had a decent battle and those two mages in front of him and Hirana appeared quite capable.

Ebony looked at Lord Frederick, "Pleasure, I'm Ebony" she said as she stood next to Tori. "So... you two against us right?" Ebony said grabbing a few of her shabiti out of her bag. She looked up into the sky and saw small raindrops fall down onto her head. "Thank Ra, the rain is slowing... cats do not like water" she muttered as she stood next to Tori. "So..." she said as she looked at Hirana, "Take it easy on us ok? I mean we are just D ranks" Ebony said grinning.

Hirana smirked at Frederik's words. "As much as I love you two, I won't hold back this battle. Of course, I wouldn't kill you both my lovelies, I wouldn't even severely injure you. But I cannot say the same for this filthy dark mage." said Hirana in a teasing manner. "Spirit Summonersssss...... Delicious" hissed Kinana with evil intent. "Hush now Kinana, We don't want to frighten these two beauties." said Hirana with a smile. Assuming the combat position, she awaited for an attack.

Tori looked at the dark figure who was called Lord Frederick and frowned ignoring his introduction, there was something that was offputting about him, enough to prompt her to not introduce herself as she was usually very friendly. She watch Ebony as she pulled some of her shabiti out of her bag and thought to herself, wondering which animals she should summon. She turned towards Solciece as she spoke, shuddering slightly as the snake hissed at them. Tori quickly made up her mind and launched herself backwards skidding on the wet dirt, she decided it would be best to try and battle from a distance seeing as both Kirana and Hirana used poison and she didn't want to be close enough for them to touch her skin "Let's go Ebony, Animal Summoning Calcifer the Bear" she yelled as a large grizzly bear appeared infront of her roaring at the large snake, as the bear had a particular grudge against snakes. "Lets dance" she said grinning at Ebony and staring at her opponents

Frederick ignored the teasing insult Hirana threw at him and slowly observed the grizzly bear and the girl who summoned it. She appeared to be a summoner. With a small grin on his face chanted two whips consisting out of dark magic on each side of his arms. 'Hirana, let's start this.' Frederick dashed of to the side, moving along the arena wall and planning to attack the summoner from the side.

Ebony looked at Tori who summoned her bear, Hmm... I guess I should summon Bast then Ebony thought as she grabbed Bast's cat shabiti, "Summoning the Cat Goddess Bast!" she said as teh Goddess appeared, "What now?!" she complained as she hissed at Ebony. Ebony frowned and looked at Tori, "We work with the bear" she said as Bast's mouth dropped. "No way, I ain't fighting with this...thing" she hissed as she slashed her tail. Ebony looked at Tori who was focussing on Lord Frederick. "Come on Bast"

"Well said Frederik." said Hirana in a calm manner. Letting Mikagura unwind and creating her own poison whip through her spell Venom Godslayers Art: Poison Whip, she ran along the wall opposite to Frederik. Not giving her opponents time to react, she immediately lashed out both whips at Ebony in attempts to put her out of the fight.

Tori watched as Hirana dashed towards Ebony, she turned to face Lord Frederick as he unraveled two whips, she wasn't sure what type of magic it was but she would just have to fight it out and see from there she grinned as ran towards she would attack first she looked at her bear "Right Calcifer go for his arms, but be careful of those whips" she yelled as the bear lumbered towards her oppenent. Tori crouched down ready to jump out of the way if her opponent decided to attack her directly. She took a quick glance at Ebony worried for a moment but then shook her head, Ebony would be fine her spirits would protect her and she could do pretty well on her own.

The bear intervened with Frederick's plan to attack Tori directly and tried to claw at him. Frederick managed to evade one of the claws but the other one hit him. Knocking him back and make him lose focus on his whips. 'Tsk I'll guess I have to get rid of that bear first huh.' he said while rubbing the place were the bear hit him. He quickly jumped back several meter creating some more distance between him and the bear. 'Corrupt Explosion!' he shouted at the same time a swiped his right arm in a linear pattern at the bear and Tori. Creating and multiple explosions out of dark mass in the same pattern as his hand swipe.

Ebony looked at Hirana as she lashed out towards her, Great, poison. One of teh things I do not like she thought to herself as fell backwards trying to dodge the attacks. "Quick now Bast!" Ebony yelled as teh she-cat transformed into a cat and leaped at Hirana.

(First two are to dodge the attacks, next are Bast attacking Hirana)

Ebony managed to dodge one of teh whips but fell to the ground as teh other hit her in the leg. "ARgh" she yelled as she looked Bast who launched herself at Hirana "Watch out for those!" she said trying to stand up. She managed to lift herself onto her feet.

Hirana jumped back immediately. She watched as the Egyptian Goddess Bast leapt at her. Attempting to sidestep to dodge the attacks, Hirana shouted: "Gate of The Heavenly Scales, Libra!" and "Gate of unyielding might, Hercules!". She had miscalculated the distance and one of Bast's swipes scratched her across the arm. Upon landing, Libra and Hercules appeared beside her. With her eyes set on revenge and consumed by the rage of the battle. "Libra, Use gravity magic and condemn Ebony to the ground!" said Hirana with a calm voice. Libra lifted her scales in such a fashion that they were unbalanced, launching the gravity manipulation attack at Ebony. "Hercules, charge up Heartseeker Strike" yelled Hirana. The warrior nodded in approval and began to aim his spear.

(ooc) Libra's attacks will pin you to the ground for 2 posts.

Tori grinned as one of her bears attacks hit, but her smiled was quickly replaced with a flash of fear as she watch Lord Frederick waves his arms in a linear pattern. Tori readied herself knowing a pretty powerful spell was being cast. Tori sprinted towards the edge of the arena just as 4 of the explosions went off, she managed to dodge 3 of them by nimbly leaping out of the way but was hit by the last one when she let her guard down. She let out a small shriek as she was thrown back against the edges of the arena. Wincing as she hit the wall with a painful sounding crunch, quickly checking that she wasn't seriously hurt, nothing was broken but she had grazes and cuts already from the explosion. She stood up her eyes flashing annoyed, the battle had hardly begun and she was already wounded. She flung her hand up in the air bringing it infront of her "Bears Rumbling Earth" she yelled as the bear brought its paws down to the earth, causing a mini earthquake. She hissed annoyed and the attack had no effect on Lord Frederick. She dismissed Calcifer and decided to summon Karma "Animal Summoning Karma The Wolf" she yelled the tawny coloured wolf appearing. Tori narrowed her eyes determined
