Name: Takemitsu Naoaki
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Birthday: 03/23
Sexuality: Straight
Special Characteristics: Takemi has a special tattoo that is branded on the left part of their chest. It signifies the long years of tradition that his family has. It is a scroll which signifies the family's motto: "Spoken words fade during peace, but written ones survive a lifetime of war"
Personality:
Takemi is a calculated individual, he chooses his words wisely before saying something that wouldn’t be to his benefit. He might seem reserved at first, but he’s actually observing and determining people’s information. Not as a means to use to use this information but as a justification that with knowledge comes power. Once he gets comfortable with people, he acts like a regular young man, but in the meantime he will try to be the bigger adult (and succeeding is still debatable), telling people smart one liners when they haven’t even asked for one. Sometimes, they make sense but sometimes they don’t, but all of them make sense to Takemi. He doesn’t like to drink alcohol but it as a lover of tea as his family tells stories about wars being won and lost over a cup of tea. The idea of companions does not sit well with Takemi, even though he acknowledges that sometimes they’re necessary for certain purposes. He knows that he needs to change his mentality on this because there are far more dangers out there than he realizes, reason for him to try and find a magic guild which to join. He knows that joining a guild is the only way that he can try and change in order to survive and grow as a person. His family is everything to him and any disrespect to any ancestor, his or otherwise, does not sit well with him. Most times, you will find the young wizard reading a book or drinking tea watching the day pass by, or sometimes doing both. He is dedicated to whatever goal he establishes for himself, and will not stop until that goal is completed. This can be a personal one or one that belongs to a future companion.
In battle, Takemi relies on his Lineage power a bit but not enough to depend on it. His family is proud of such of a gift but they always try to keep it hidden, as it’s possible that it might be used for darker and more sinister means. He doesn’t like to jump for a battle right in as he is not physically strong enough to win a fight outright. He likes to have a plan beforehand and use his wits instead of brute force to overcome the obstacle. His quick thinking in sticky situations has saved him more than once in his wandering life. Another thing that the wizard is good is thinking on his feet. He doesn’t have much physical strength and he knows it, so uses his quick thinking and reflexes to evade his enemy. He understands authority even though that sometimes he doesn’t agree with their decisions. He will follow any such authority as long as it doesn’t lead to Takemi’s death or any that he has deemed worthy of friendship. If he respects the leader of the party, or guild for that matter, he will follow directions as much as necessary, but trust, for Takemi, is not something that’s easily given. Trust is something that is earned, be it through battle or just plain companionship.

Likes:
- Tea – That’s the gentleman’s drink, so he says. Anything that can be discussed, be it personal or work related, he likes it to be discussed with a cup of tea in his hand. For that he always has some in hand.
- Books – Takemi loves book and likes to read them. Not with the speed reading magic but like a normal person. He enjoys the thrill of the stories that are contained in each binding of papers, be it a true story or fictional.
- Travelling – Takemi likes the idea of moving from one place to another. Right now, he hasn’t called a place home yet, but he knows that it’ll happen once he’s joined a guild. That doesn’t mean that he won’t travel cause he will the first chance he gets.
Dislikes:
- Rude people – The young wizard doesn’t have much love for rude people, these ones being those that interrupt his tea drinking or book reading. Takemi finds that his time is valuable, as most people do, but those that interrupt him will not be perceived as companions in arms.
- Hot heads – He doesn’t know what it is about hot headed people that get on his nerves. He will stand them but that doesn’t mean that he must like them. The idea of not having a plan before doing something irks Takemi a bit but not enough to warrant a beating, well only sometimes.
- Alcohol – The taste of alcohol makes him retch, though he doesn’t know why. His parents never told him what happened but something did happen to him when he was a young lad that made him dislike alcohol like so. Maybe one day he’ll find out why.
Motivations:
- See the world – Takemi wants to travel the world as much as he can because he knows that the world is big enough to stay in just one continent.
- Family – His family taught him everything he knows, even he accepts there’s much to learn still. But, they are the ones that started it all, teaching him all the ways about being a wizard and what it entails to be a Takemitsu. He wants to make them proud.
- Knowledge – Takemi desires to know more about the world and its mysteries. He wants to know about places, its magic, and everything else inside of those but he tries to accomplish it one step at a time first. Knowing about a new type of magic, or discovering a new place or anything of that sort.
Fears:
- Unfinished tasks – The idea of leaving a task unfinished dreads his existence. Takemi doesn’t like to leave things like that (in mundane tasks) and tries to finish what other people start as well. (e.g. a person is sweeping the floor but it’s called to do something, Takemi would finish before they would come back). He fears that his parents would come find him and giving him a beating for leaving things like that, be it from he or from others.
- Insects – He really fears insects due to his childhood. He would really try to act tough when running into them but his whole body would go pale white. Depending on how big the insect would be he could also freeze from shock although his face would show nothing related to fear.
- Ghosts – Not everybody was afraid of ghosts but Takemi sure was. They say that ghosts are a form of magic, but he doesn’t think that. He still believes that ghosts are apparitions from the other side and should not be taken lightly. Created by magic or not, they still make a chill crawl up Takemi’s spine.
