Indra Vs Asura (Open/ Cooking Battle)

It was about the middle of the day in the city of Rose Garden and in the Silver Moon in the kitchen was running smoothly though there were two cooking areas that were empty and reserved for the day by one of the newcomers to the guild.Gala sat at the bar Waiting for Magna and his partner to arrive while drinking a cup of Halloween Coffee to pass the time, it was very rare coffee as Halloween coffee beans were very hard to find but they made an amazing cup of joe. The Tanuki drank of coffee in silence as he looked around the inn.

He saw many regular customers and tourists but also some guild members were around as well, Gala wondered if some of them lived at the inn, as for himself the Bakedaunki had managed to secure a very luxurious apartment in one of the best places in Rose Garden and on the top floor as well though how he managed to obtain it was slightly sketchy. “ I do hope he got the note its been so long since I have had a real challenge"

Magna had been away recently and his last mission had been quite tiring so it was only shortly before noon that he even woke up. That wasn't normal for him, but he didn't worry too much as he was sure Gala would be able to handle things. In a quick motion he got dressed and headed towards the door noticing a small letter by the floor. He picked it up and flicked it open reading it with interest. It appeared the new member of the guild, the new chef in the kitchen Gala, had challenged him to a cooking battle or as had been phrased in the messaged a 'shokugeki'. It was a while since he'd heard such terms and in truth a while since he'd last competed in a cooking competition.

He nodded to himself and headed down to the kitchen. Unlike Gala he had not secured outside accommodation. This was not because he hadn't been able to, but more because he hadn't bothered. He preferred to be close to his kitchen and as an ace he had one of the largest rooms. It was basically an entire apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom etc. What's more due to his magic he could experiment almost infinitely. His room had a few scorch marks and freeze burns and oil splatters to prove this. Every now and then he cleaned it up, but he liked his kitchen to look like it had been worked in.

When he arrived he greeted the various people and then walked over to the specially prepared areas. "So Gala what's to be the theme of this Shokugeki?" he said calmly.

The Bakedanuki grinned as he caught Magnas scent and saw him approaching, he finished off his Halloween Coffee before he set the cup down on the table and stood up. When the head chef asked him what theme this duel would be based around Gala had to think for a moment before he spoke.”This duel will be around something everyone enjoys and you can find in most towns This duels theme will be Ramen” he declared. Suddenly people could be heard gasping near the entrance.

A creature that had the face like a bird had entered the inn and its eyes scanned the room before it saw Gala and Magna and started to approach, its black fur seemed to go well with its Blue skin and it had a bright red tuff of hair like a Mohawk on its head also it was carying a few containers of ingredients. When it was close enough it spoke.”Gala you should have mentioned where this place was I got lost a few times getting here” it said though its mouth did not move. “Sorry Pair did you find what I was looking for?” the pink haired mage asked before the Nitro nodded and handed the man the containters.

“Oh yes introductions Magna this is my partner Pair he has been helping me cook and gather ingredients for many years since I was a child, and Pair this is Magna the head chef here and who my opponent is today.” Gala explained before Pair crossed his arms and looked bored.”I hope hes up to the challenge ,after all your skills are rather high so I’ll be acting as a judge for this challenge the Time limit with be 2 hours.” the creature said as Gala followed Magna into the kitchen to get ready for the duel

So the theme was ramen. In his mind he began to consider possible ramens. The difficulty of course was that the dish was ridiculously simple yet also could be incredibly complex depending on what you put into it. Due to the amount of possible combinations the dish that his opponent provided could be very similar to his or very different. His mind was processing all the possible ramens he could make. There was so much he could do.

However, his mind was distracted when a rather rare creature walked in. It was one he'd only come across once in his life when travelling through Sin. A nitro and from what he understood of them the stronger of the two sub species. A blue nitro and what's more it had come as an ally of Gala. That was fairly impressive, but what was even more so was that it complemented Gala's skill in cooking. Nitro were connoisseurs who lived for centuries so if they complemented your cooking you knew it was good.

"Its nice to meet you Pair. I ran into one of your kind once in Sin. Looked a bit like you, but his fur was entirely black." he said politely. "It will be an honour serving food to you. However, I feel that it may be a bit biased in Gala's favour if the only judge is one who considers him a friend or ally and doesn't know me." That was his opinion. He felt he could perhaps beat Gala even if the judge was biased, but it would be hard. Unfortunately, he didn't have someone he could easily call on to judge and then that would make it uneven. In truth they needed two more judges.

Jiyu normally did not go anywhere near the kitchen of the silvermoon once the middle of the day had arrived! Normally? She avoided that place like the plague, being fully aware of her intense fear of any active flames or intense heat. However today she had woken up far later than normal, and it was essential for her to eat every day, especially recovering as she was, so she would be forced to brave that horrible place to get herself some food. Considering she lived in the Silver Moon the closest source of food and drink for the wind mage, was it’s kitchen, but she really detested not having her own and such, not that she even knew how to cook. However if she had her own? She wouldn’t even need to have an oven, just a fridge, but then she wouldn’t be so close to marschal! Of course the man passed out in random locations and sometimes she had no clue where he was, but most times when she saw him it was in this general area, so she liked staying here, increasing the chances of running into her savior again. However she could really do without the fire oriented kitchen.

Kazehime was shocked today when she went into the kitchen, finding it was mostly shut down for once, not many customers left to be served outside. If the chef’s were going to battle? This would be a prime day, however she had yet to figure out that was what happened to be happening. “I haven’t eaten yet today.” she spoke it casually, leaning in the doorway to the kitchen, cautious before she entered. Once she came inside? The female went closer to Magna than she normally did, considering he used flames in magic she was always a bit wary of him, but the part she'd gotten by eavesdropping, made whatever was going on seem interesting “I can be a judge and get fed at the same time, ramen doesn’t sound like a bad breakfast.” it was less of a suggestion and more of a statement as she pushed away from the door frame, flicking her long ebony hair once.

"No objects correct? Considering I'd be just as hard on both of you, considering I rarely eat cooked food and have no reason to favor either of you." and the fact she rarely ate cooked food was something that suggested she'd have no preferences in ramen either. However Magna might have one advantage, they'd been on a mission together so he knew what she could cook, and if he remembered the day she first arrived some time back, the male would know next to seafood her favorite food was steak. However when a wide panel was considered? None of that mattered. "Anything riding on this contest besides your pride's? Because honestly simple pride stakes makes for a boring competition." and there she went.

The Nitro glanced at Magna for a moment as the man mentioned that he had an encounter with another of his kind from the sounds of what he said it described a friend of his named Center”I’m insulted by that remark but I understand your worry, fear not when it comes to judging I am always fair right Gala?” Pair said to the Tanuki who nodded before the creature spoke again.”It seems we don’t have to worry about biased opinions since we have two more guests” he commented as he turned to head out of the kitchen and waited to be served.

“Sorry Magna he is not really big on humans and strangers”Gala said before seeing Jiyu and another yokai he had never encountered before in the guild,  when the recovering woman suggested something more then their pride on the line Gala gained a thoughtful look before he spoke again.”no complaints from me  but something on the line hmm that does sound more fun how about loser has to be the dishwasher for 3 months straight” he suggested with a sly grin on his face. While he did them plenty while growing up Gala was not one to jump at the chance to do dishes.

“I’m fine with you joining in just get ready for some of the best ramen you’ll ever tasted” he said as he went over to his spot in the kitchen and  set his containers down, they all had very delicious ingredients in them and  Gala was glad Pair was able to obtain them for him, the man was able to cook with anything but when it came to rare and exotic ingredients he could really show his skills off. “Alright if its all in order you both can begin” Pair called out from his spot outside the kitchen.

So there were two more guest chefs. Two who were members of the guild and neither of which had any real bias towards them. It seemed he'd offended Pair slightly with his remark and he bowed his head. "Sorry about that Pair. I didn't mean any offense." Magna replied and walked over to his own station. Unlike Gala who had brought his ingredients with him Magna seemed to have nothing. Some might think he wasn't prepared at all for such an encounter, but in reality Magna did not need to carry his ingredients around with him. "The wager seems fair. Though let's make it a year."

He closed his eyes and ran his hand through the air as if looking through an invisible inventory. As his hand passed by seemingly random points ingredients appeared on the counter. He knew Jiyu's taste a bit. Seafood was a big drawpoints for them as was steak. They tended to prefer their food raw, but that wouldn't be an option. So a seafood ramen or a ramen using steak. He decided on seafood as he had a few ingredients in mind.

Pots and pans began to be filled with various ingredients as he stood there. The time was too short for the full dish he had in mind. If he'd had another two hours then perhaps he might have enough time. However, he did have time for a lesser version of the dish.

"So do you want to announce our dishes before we begin cooking properly?" Magna suggested. That way they could begin whetting the appetite of their guests before the meal even began. "Or would you rather keep them guessing?"

Shockingly? Unlike most mages, Jiyu never drank, one would expect with all the time she tried to spend with Marschal and the way she dressed, that drinking would be a hobby, at least partly. However? She actually hated booze, the only person she liked it on, even remotely was the panther demon, and that was because she was star eyed about him, he’d saved her life, brought her into Black Rose and always been there for her. Forgiving his rampant drinking, which never affected his persona to her knowledge? Was a small price to pay for his company! Thought she tended to avoid the other’s in the guild when they drank, unless she herself was willing to get slightly tipsy, which was only when she was already so happy, it was impossible for the wine to take her any higher. Too many bad memories for her, just so happened to be linked into substance abuse, mostly the aching loneliness that had been her years after seven, up until she joined Black Rose. Even now thought? She couldn’t bring herself to give up her barriers and truly feel relaxed or at home here. However the time she had here, it was a start to recovering from a past that was not the most tragic that existed, but was certainly one that would weigh on someone’s mind and hold them back sometimes.

“In a speedo, the loser has to wash the dishes for a year in a speedo.” Jiyu should never be involved in arranging or raising wagers! Whenever she could manage it, the wind mage tried to make things damning or embarrassing for the loser, generally fire shots at them somehow. However? She was going easy this time, since these two did happen to be her guild mates. Kazehime smirked after her words, chuckling lightly, a finger on her chin, before she spun around on her heel and headed out after the bird looking existence, waving her hand at the two chefs and the demon still with them.

“I’ll be looking forward to this.” she announced it, before she finally took a seat in the restaurant area, at the bar shockingly, even if she disliked booze. Leaning back against the bar itself, she started swinging her legs absently, looking over to see if the other two judges were out and about with her. Maybe they could have some fun while the chef’s cooked.

“I’ll consider overlooking it if you can impress me but its not going to be easy” the Nitro called out from the bar as Gala nodded to Magna about the wager.” Alright sounds fair but no speedo sorry Jiyu” he said before he grinned at the question of if they should tell the judges the name of their recipies.”I’m alright with telling them the Ramen I’m making is one of my original recipes its called Royal Ocean Ramen” he said as he kept his smile and he then turned to his work, he opened one of the containers he was given which had various bones in it and he proceeded place them onto his choping boared before he simply ran a hand over them before they emmited intense heat and caused the bones to sweat, he then quickly movedto place them in the pot of water before turning the heat on and turning to his station.

From another container the tanuki grabbed a few golden carrots and jogged to the pantry and grabbed a few onions and some celery before he started to chop them into pieces with his knife, it was a beautiful knife made from a rare metal know as Damascus which gave the blade insane sharpness and a beautiful wave pattern on it. After cutting them up the pink haired mage placed the mix into the pot as he crushed a clove of normal garlic and a clove of black garlic and added them to the mix as well. All the while the bespectacled man never seemed to worry his face was a picture of serenity his movements were fluid with no wasted motion, this was why he was called Indra as his serenity seemed to fow from him and around the kitchen and inn. While the broth was simmering the rich smell of fish along with the sweetness of black garlic and the delicious smell of normal garlic started to waft from the pot to the Bar.

Royal ocean ramen. That meant it was a seafood ramen. It time to battle water with water. "The ramen i'm making is also based on seafood. Moonlit reflection ramen." That was all he would say in truth. In front of him on his counter was a large crystal and several containers. He did not need to go to the pantry. Part of his magic allowed him to get his ingredients from a pocket dimension where time seemed not to flow. There all ingredients would remain in the state he had put them in. He pulled out his kitchen knife and began to slowly run it along the crystal collecting the dust from it in a bowl beneath. He nodded and then opened up the containers. His eyes began to glow red as his face split into three and four more arms formed. From his waist his tail unfurled and next to it formed a second tail, this one reptilian, topped with a snake head.

His hands moved in a blur as he pulled out various ingredients and sliced them, diced them and otherwise prepared them with an aggression and passion that showed why he was called the Asura. Despite this aggression all the ingredients were prepared perfectly. Most of these were vegetables that would be used in the broth and as garnish, but one was a potato. A rather odd ingredient in truth and the potato didn't exactly look normal either. These were pork potatos. A rich, starchy potato with a strong meaty flavour that would make a strong broth when soaked.

There was still three containers that he had not yet opened and he had not yet used the dust from the crystal. Some of the various vegetables were boiling in a pan whilst the potato soaked in another. They would take a while to finish and as such he had the vegetables simmering on a low heat. He stood there silently and calmly the four extra arms, two extra faces and extra tail fading away with a shimmer of light. His eyes were closed and he was focusing entirely on the sounds and smells of his dish.

After around half an hour had passed he turned up the temperature on the vegetables slightly and moved the pork potatos in. The broth would now begin to thicken and become rich and full of flavour. The first of the three remaining containers was opened. From this emerges a lobster which was placed on a mesh that rested above one of the cookers flames. Immediately, the smell of barbecue began to fill the air whetting the appetite of those present, especially when combined with the rich smell of the broth.

"There is a theme with my ingredients. They all come from a particular place and should blend together quite well. I've been working with them a lot recently." he said as his eyes closed once more to listen and smell the food. He did not explain where they came from. It would be interesting to see if the 'Indra' would know they were all from Star Lake, a beautiful lake in the mountains. Not many knew of it unless they specifically requested tourist spots in those mountains because at the wrong times of day it looked just like an ordinary lake. However, at the right times it was one of the most beautiful sights in all of Fiore.

The moonlight reflection ramen was a recipe he had come up with on the spot when he saw the bones and ingredients the indra was using. It also helped with one of the judges. Jiyu liked seafood and meat, normally raw, and he could easily sate the seafood. However, if things went to plan then it would satisfy both the taste for seafood and meat. Or that was his intention anyway. The pork potatoes and the lobster, known as a bbqribster, would help with that and he still had a couple of others left.

"What's a speedo?" it was quiet the simple comment but anyone who had once sailed on the same ship as Jiyu would know it was something never to be spoken, unless you wanted more eye candy and could conceivably not actually know. If she thought you legit did know? Nothing would come. However, luckily or unluckily for the onlookers, judges and chefs, Kazehime did indeed believe that Aruzati did not know what a speedo was, and she was very willing to teach him. In some placed? It might not be the wisest choice, but the wind mage was never so concerned about such things when she knew her power adequate to protect herself. While she was no idiot or slut? Jiyu sometimes could seem like one due to how little she cared unless it played on her own plans in some way, and the only thing really ever on her head was avenging her mother. So long as she continued being a mage no matter what? That would happen one day.

Anyway’s, it had been dim witted for the male to ask such a question with someone who was practically naked beside him. Before anyone could even realizing what she was doing? The wind mage unhooked the button to her shorts and let them just fall off, since there was not much holding them on her marked body anyways. While she was built well and attractively? Jiyu was way too thin still. Than a phrase was uttered that might give some heart attacks and make them give thanks that Black Rose member’s were the only one’s present. “This is a speedo.” as she spoke the wind mage held one arm over her chest, which from behind could imply she was covering the area in lack of anything else being there to save the little modesty she did have. In truth? Her bikini top was still on, but those behind her could not say that, one hand lifting her hair slightly so Atu would know the bottom was just that, a bottom of a swimsuit, a well fitting one. “Only men don’t get the cute tops.” she whirled around as she spoke, putting both hands behind her neck and laughing, tossing her shorts onto one of the chairs.

“Oh come on Gala. Someone insecure about their body?” but watch what would happen if someone so happened to mention her numerous bruises and burn marks! While she was confidently standing around in just a semi-skimpy bathing suit right now? If they started staring or commented on her marks, she would get extremely upset and likely go change into something average to keep eyes off the wounds, which mostly only bothered her emotionally these days. “Anyway’s do your best and let me know when you guys are done, I might take a nap.” even though she’d just woken up

Gala was still as calm as ever but he did grin slightly at Magna when he saw the ingredients he was using though the crystal was something he had never encountered before.” its been a while since I’ve seen ingredients from that spot but your handeling them very well” he said before he opened one of the other containers that Pair had brought him, he had three more remaining. Inside the container was beautiful fish meat.”my ingredients don’t come from a certain spot but most of them are very hard to find this meat and my stocks bones are the rarest, they are from a certain land shark that tends to go after wolves” he explained as he took some of the stock from the pot and placed it in a smaller pan before putting some of the meat into in to simmer it slowly.

While he did that Gala also grabbed a container that he obtained earlier today for the match that held a interesting fruit in it, it looked like a lemon with small lightning bolts on it and seemed to spark on occasion, he quickly started to make his dough for his noodles and started to grate some of the peel into the dough before squeezing some of the juice into it as well, all the while Gala was moving thru the kitchen his demeanor never changed he seemed to be constantly at ease even while he lightly toasted a few Cream Matsutakes and added them to his stock he then grabbed another rare ingredient that was incredibly hard to prepare, the Human Face King Trumpet mushrooms that unless prepared right were very nasty tasting.

Before long the smell of seafood erupted from Galas side of the kitchen and it came from the meat he was simmering which was King Land Shark meat one of the rarest meats to obtain because of how deadly the beast was. Moving over to his stock the Tanuki simply pulled out two small vials from his chefs coat one held a red liquid in it and the other a transparent fluid. He uncorked them and lightly added a few drops of each to the stock causing the flavors to intensify and deepen, the two liquids were Magma Consumme and Wall Penguin Saliva both were very useful when cooking.”Trust me Jiyu if you saw me in a speedo you’d know I have nothing to be ashamed of” he fiared back at her with a confidence in his voice. In the dining hall Pair just shook his head at the antics of the other two.”can you both behave please” he said as he crossed his arms

Magna watched his opponent as he began to apply the ingredients. They were all incredibly rare, incredibly hard to prepare ingredients, but even the preparation was nothing compared to how hard they were to gather. It was said, in the right chef circles, that those ingredients were once used by the Rampaging Beast, a man capable of stopping the world turning. That explained the Blue Nitro though. Blue Nitro were gourmet experts and would easily be able to gather such ingredients. The ingredients he was working with, in truth, likely couldn't compare at least in terms of base flavour. However, even if you could gather and use those ingredients it did not gurantee the dish would be delicious. Some of them were ingredients that if you made a single mistake then you would ruin them. Others were very powerful so if too much were used then they would overpower the other dishes.

This last factor was much like his crystal dust. The dust was an appetite stimulant and highly addictive. However, unless the ingredients were compatible it would completely overpower them. Fortunately, Magna had experimented with it a lot and knew what it would work well with.

He nodded as the lobster was finished cooking and added it to the broth. It would strengthen the meaty/fishy flavour combination he was going for a lot. The broth was thick and filling. It might be too much for some people's stomachs so he added a few sprinkles of the golden crystal dust. Immediately, the scent of the dish changed becoming a lot stronger. Alone the smell would begin stimulating appetite among the observers and what's more the air itself would begin to glow slightly. However, he was not yet done with the dishes.

The next ingredient he brought fourth was really two ingredients. It was a large fish with an open and in that mouth were lots of smaller fish. The three faced form appeared once more as he rapidly prepared, slicing, dicing, gutting and otherwise preparing them until they too were added to the dish. This was a Big Bertha and her young the Bullet Billys which she fired off when hunting like actual bullets. The children got a taste as they pierced the target and then the mother fed on the corpse.

The final ingredient now emerged. The air immediately began to shimmer brightly with a silver glow. These were shining gourami. These were got from an incredibly hard to get to cave near the starry lake and were what would take the most advantage of the dust. However, what was interesting was that the water it had been resting in was like oil. He nodded and added some of the oil to the pan before adding the fish. This was the nutrient rich oil-like water that the gourami resided in within its natural habitat. It was said to have gained all the nutirents from the other fish and natural plants of the mountain becoming a powerful ingredient in its own right. The fish absorbed that oil and became incredibly delicious and nutrient filled.

Once it was cooked to a certain level it was clicked diced into small petals and left to rest on a low heat. The final step was to prepare the noodles. These would perhaps be the hardest bit of the dish to prepare because he didn't have time to let them rest. They also needed to compliment the broth and other ingredients. Fortunately, he had a rather good idea what would work with this. A true seafood noodle based on Kelp.

However, anyone who knew Magna knew it wouldn't be quite as simple as that. No, the kelp he used was again from the starry lake and it was one that would improve the flavour of the soup even more. He'd manage to snag a bit when he'd been at the bottom of the starry lake. However, it wasn't exactly normal seaweed. No, it was a fish that was very much like seaweed. In fact it was two types of living seaweed, the kelp snake and seaweed snake. They were said to be the reason the fish in the lake gained as much flavour as they did.

It didn't take him long to convert it into noodles and he soaked it in the special oil to gain some of its flavour before adding it into each of the bowls that would be served. This was followed by the rich meaty/fishy broth that had now turned clear as crystal. As the shinining gourami was added it began to glow brightly. A perfect tribute to the star lake where the crystals grew and at the right times of the day glowed brightly. At night they reflected the night sky in such a way that they were like a second night sky. "My dish is ready to be served." he said calmly and then all three bowls vanished. "Don't worry I will bring them out when you are ready. They won't spoil at all."

The games she had been earlier wore thin on the wind witch and she flopped back into the same chair she’d thrown her shorts into, sitting atop the clothing item. Even if the wounds she’d incurred did not bother her much physically anymore? They still zapped at the energy she possessed, as they attempted to heal over and vanish completely, it was clear to see from her paling skin that she might be pushing it. How did someone pushing it by simply dancing around in a bikini, managge to go on dangerous missions?! Mostly because Ji was to determine for her own good, reckless to the point of stupidity at points. The wind mage just had trouble staying still and that equaled her body reaching the point of exhaustion quicker than others would; Adding her wounds this meant she had to take frequent breaks sometimes to avoid permanent damage to her body. While she was reckless? Jiyu knew she still had to possess some body at least partly capable of performing basic tasks! She would prefer retaining her own body, thought if there was a way, she wasn’t beyond stealing someone else’s if she became a ghost or something. Shaking off such thoughts, she kicked her feet into a position that could be called lady like, focusing her gaze unto everyone else again, sipping at her juice box.

“Telling me to behave doesn’t work you know?” she was acting more calm now, but that was not because she had been told to be such, it was because her body had reached it’s wild limit for the moment. Looking over at the bird sort of creature, she sighed and leaned her head back against the ground, slipping so far in the chair one might think she could fall off.


“So foods ready? Great!” she didn’t even get up, just rolled over in the chair, somehow not falling out of it. “I am starving, my stomach is about to over throw me.” actually her body which desperately needed nourishment about being at the starving point for years, was about to rebel against her. However she’d just have to wait until the other dish finished and they were served.

Gala just glanced at Magna for a moment as the man finished up his dish but the Tanuki was not worried as he started to put his dish together he took out the final container that Pair had brought him and he opened it to reveal Garlic that looked like it had gold on the outside of it, it was Meteor Garlic that had already been prepared so now the Tanuki took the pieces and began to slice them length wise and gently toasted them to give them even more flavor before he removed them from the heat and onto a plate so he could finish his dishes.

He poured the broth into four bowls and it was revealed the broth was a beautiful red color from the king land shark meat and the consommé magma he had added to it he then added his noodles with numb lemon added into it and finished it off by placing the prepared and sliced human face trumpet mushrooms and meteor garlic to the top along with each dish getting a beautiful pieces of King Land Shark meat. “ I guess I’ll go first if that’s ok with you there’s also one for you on the table” he said as he grabbed the three bowls and headed out to give them to the judges.

He placed them down before the judges and pushed his glasses up a bit.”sorry for the wait this is my dish Royal Ocean Ramen please enjoy it” he said before Pair took the bowl in front of him before taking some chopsticks and started to eat it.”no matter how many times I try this the flavor is amazing it uses such powerful ingredients and yet they all work together perfectly” he said as he felt a light surge of electricity go thru him from the numb lemon and then after eating the meteor garlic he felt his body flood with energy. Pair blinked and then had a vision of being in a great undersea kingdom as its ruler for a moment.”wow the Meteor Garlic combined with the king land shark meat and the numblemon made the dish very rich yet very refreshing and extremely nutritious I think I’ll be able to hunt for ingredients for at least a few weeks non stop with how I feel” the Nitro praised as he kept eating the ramen at a rapid pace.

Gala sighed and took his bowl from the table and bowed his head in thanks before he dug in while Pair did the same. From the first bite of noodles and the Shining Gourami the tanuki kept taking one bite after another since the taste was amazing though after about 5 bites he seemed to slow as he adapted to the taste of the dust.”Magna this dish is impressive your use of the Shining Gourami is intresting we really need to share some recipies and cooking methods I think we can learn a lot from each other” he said as Pair finished his bowl at the same moment before he thought long and hard about the two dishes.”first both of you have made impressive dishes, Magna your very talented for your age and your dish was impressive though there was a few things I noticed that made Galas Dish stand out from yours” Pair said before he pushed Galas dish forward as his vote.”Magna while your dishes flavors flowed together beautifully the impact was simply not as powerful as Galas, also the nutrition level was a factor as well, your Shining Gourami was extremely delicious and very rich in nutrients Galas Meteor garlic along with his mushrooms and King land shark exceeded that by a large margin also the numb lemon made the noodles very refreshing as well though yours were very good too” the Nitro rolled off before he looked at Gala “My vote is for Gala and young one keep him around he will be good for polishing your skills”

Magna was about to take a step forward and end the fight using one of his spells when suddenly Pair was ordered to step forward and broke up the face with their face splitting in the Blue Nitro fashion. Yes, quite definitely a Blue Nitro and not one of the lesser Red Nitro species. It was then that the critique of his dish, from Pair's perspective at least, was given.

He considered the words and nodded. "I can see what you mean, but I personally found Gala's a bit too rich and heavy for my tast." he said in response wondering how pair would react. "The nutritional value was there of course and the dish had a lot of impact, but like I said it was a bit too rich." That was his opinion on it. "Still, the ingredients are far beyond what I put in mine. So even if they aren't blended as well and have a richness that is too much...the deliciousness surpasses mine."

He looked over at the pair, who he hoped had stopped fighting, waiting for their response before turning his gaze back to Pair. "Based on your critique it seems I have a long way to go before I can hope to polish his skills. I think I'll go travelling again and see what I can learn."
