Diverting the Great Flood!(Sukiro and Midnight)

Mari had walked down through the gates of the Mountain Village and pondered there. Along side her had walked a small Fire Spirit, who Mari named Ignis, he is a Small Lava colored Fire Spirit. With a large head and two black horn like ears and earlobes, with green orbs at the end. With large emerald eye's and a white triangle where the nose should be. He has a small body with small arm's but large wing like hands, with small legs and pointy feet. And a tail about 2 foot tail. "Looks like this will be our first job together Ignis!" Mari said to him with a smile on her face. Ignis nodded and saluted toward her, before walking up to her leg and wrapping his arm's around it hugging her tightly, leaving Mari giggling and putting smile on her face as she continued to walk into the village. "Ok I guess we should wait here, a bit past the gate and wait for Ren." Ren was a member from Fairy Tail but Mari didn't know much about her or how she looked like so this was going to be the first time they went on a job together as well.

Ren would reach the main gates of the Mountain Village. She would look around, eyeing the gates curiously. A guard would yell. "State your business!" Ren would say that she was from Fairy Tail and she was here to help with the flood. The guard would order his peers to open the gates, them doing so. Ren would walk past the gates, catching eye of Mari and her pet. She would slowly make her way over, introducing herself as she arrives. "Hello, I'm Ren, and I'm guessing you're Mari?" She would say timidly, this being her first mission and the first time she will be with a colleague for a fair amount of time. Ren watches Mari. Admiring her beauty, her sharp and elegant features. "I guess we're going to be working together for a while." Ren would force a smile, although it would look very insincere and slightly creepy. She quickly turns away, cursing under her breath for acting like an idiot. This is going bad... She would think to herself. She watches as the villagers watch us from afar, wondering if they are intrigued or afraid. She wouldn't blame them if they were. She would be... very much so.

Mari with her hands behind her back, looking around the village to see that this part of the village wasn't much in danger as she thought. Though she did notice that there weren't as much people as she walked in, she thought that she'd see more. "Well maybe if we continue going down that way, we'll find more people and find out more about the problem." She said toward Ignis as he nodded back. "Hello, I'm Ren, and I'm guessing you're Mari?" Ignis jumped toward the the girl and held his arms out, into a guarding position, followed by Mari with a blank face, then soon a smile. "Ah, then you must be Ren, nice to meet you! Oh and this little guy is Ignis, please treat us well!" She said picking up Ignis and pressing him into her chest, with his face toward Ren. Ren gave Mari an odd stare, leaving her tilting her head. "I guess we're going to be working together for a while." Mari nodded. "I haven't noticed much things going on here since there is hardly any of the villager's around, so I think we should start walking so we can find out whats this all about."

Mari started to walk deeper into the village and saw the little streams of water passing through the streets of the village. She continued to walk until she noticed a small group of people huddled together and decided to walk up to them to see if they knew anything about what has happened. "Excuse me, but do you guy's know anything of whats happening." A young man walked up to her from the group with peddler type clothing and a hat. "Yes, up North we have somewhat of a dam that's holding back a large amount of water..." Another person but an old women came up to Mari. "Yes and there was a large explosion up there near dawn. We feared that someone is damaging the levees and is trying to flood the town. If you've notice the small streams, they are coming from the north, follow them and you should find the dam." Mari nodded and Ignis hovered and landed on her shoulder holding on by his hands, with his head poking out. "Ok, Ren what do you think we should do?"

Ren would look at Mari, then turning back towards the streams of water. She would raise her arms, causing the streams of water ripple and begin to be lifted up into the air in blobs. She would send them to her palm, creating a fairly large ball. "Well, I can ingest the water or you can evaporate it..." She would say, looking towards the dam. She would try to think of a plan, wanting to know how large the body of water is and if she can lower the level of it enough to stop the leak. "I wonder if we can lower the water level enough to stop the leak while we fix things up..." She would look at Mari, waiting for her to answer as she watches the inhabitants panic, yelling to each other what they should do. Ren would wonder who would want to sabotage the village. It could be anybody... We'll have to question almost the entire village, whoever doesn't have an alibi is a suspect. Although, I think it could be a political figure, trying to "wash" away their problems... What kind of person can kill so many people and feel no remorse... Ren would think to herself...

Mari placed her chin in her hand as she thought about the situation. She didn't understand why it started to exploded and so the first thing in mind was to go and check it themselves. Mari turned to Ren for her thoughts. "Well, I can ingest the water or you can evaporate it..." Mari nodded agreeing to what she said. Either Ren can hold back the water, so we can fix the problem, or if needed Mari can heat the water up, to when it'll evaporate. "Alright then, lets go check it out!" Mari shouted as she looked toward the two villager's. "Please try to get as much people out as you can, we'll notify you guy's after the problem has been resolved."

Mari started to run through the village heading North, Ignis bumping up and down holding on to her shoulder for dear life, toward the dam. With only a few seconds later another explosion appeared, shaking the tree's around it. The Village soon was stampede with ton's of forest animals that were running from the explosion. "This isn't good." She said slowing down. A Nightgale Cat came jumping from one of the roof top's in front of Mari and mad a large growl. "Stay back Ignis! Ren! I got this!" She said charging toward it. Mari put her hands together and tried pounding the Cat but he took the hit blocking it with his head, and pushed Mari back. Mari quickly got her balance back and tried kicking the Cat but he jumped over leg and foot. Once he touched the ground, he pounced toward Mari but she flipped back and watched as he jumped over her. "Ren see if you can finish him!" Mari shouted.

Ren would watch the Nightingale Cat approach her. She would watch it, a blank expression on her face. Her expression would then become an angry one. She would raise her arms from her sides then. "Water Dragon's Anger!" She would yell then. Water would begin to rise behind her, coming from whatever water source can be found nearby. She would watch the Cat as it looks at her in slight fear. The water behind Ren would be the size of a small building then but as wide as 2ft. She would then send her arms forward saying. "Begone!" The water would jet forward, going around Ren. The speed of it not matching it's size, going particularly fast. The wall of water would slam into the Cat, smashing it into a nearby wall, causing heavy to medium damage. She watches as it gets back up. She quickly sends her arms in front of her mouth, saying, "Water Dragon's Roar!" Her cheeks would begin to get bigger as water is sent from her mouth in a jet. It would hit the Cat before it even realized it was coming. Sending it into the wall once more, this time knocking it out then.

Mari watched as Ren started attacking the Nightgale Cat. She would raise her arms from her sides then toward the Nightgale Cat. "Water Dragon's Anger!" She would yell then. Water would begin to rise behind her, coming from whatever water source can be found nearby. She would watch the Cat as it looks at her in slight fear. The water that was behind Ren started to rise about the size of a small building, then would grow as wide as 2ft. The wall of water would charge forward and slam into the Cat, smashing it into a nearby wall, causing heavy to medium damage. Soon she quickly sends her arms in front of her mouth, saying, "Water Dragon's Roar!" Her cheeks would begin to get bigger as water is sent from her mouth in a jet. It would hit the Cat before it even realized it was coming. Sending it into the wall once more, this time knocking it out then. "Alright nice going!" Mari shouted while giving Ren a thumbs up, with Ignis doing the same thing right beside her. "Now we should get going before any other animals start coming out!" Mari shouted before continuing running toward the dam.

Ren would follow Mari as they made their way towards the dam. She looks at the villagers as she passes by, relief in their eyes to be seeing their saviors. She would keep running before coming to a slow stop, as she sees terror in one of the townspeople's eyes, looking up at the roof of a house. She follows the line of sight, seeing a dark figure on the roof. She yells for Mari telling her that there's someone watching them. Just as she turns back towards the figure, it jumps towards them then. At this moment, Ren sends her arms up, bringing water up with it just in time to block a kick sent from the attacker. She watches as it flips back around, coming around for another attack. Due to the moonlight being blocked by clouds, she can't really make out the enemy. It'a too far away from any nearby light to see what it is. As it runs towards her, Ren catches a glimpse of what it is... She would yell for Mari once more, telling her to get ready, because this is not the only attacker they're going to have to fight. This mission is getting harder by the minute...

'Monster Dice' :

Mari continued to run through the village until she heard Ren shout her name. Mari spun around with the dust flying in the air, and Ignis stopped as well. Turning around Mari noticed two Urion Money jumping upon the roof of a house, within a few seconds Mari started to giggle alittle behind her hand in front of her mouth. "They're just some silly monkey's" Mari said as they jumped onto the ground, and started walking toward Mari. Mari bent over to pet the monkey's before they one reaching out and grabbing both of Mari's breasts. The place got quiet before Mari's face became red, with Ignis flapping her arm's up and down. Mari quickly pulled her head "Fire Dragon's Roar!" She shouted before opening her mouth. And a large beam of fire shot forward.

The two monkey's jumped out of the way flying toward the ground and jumping again onto a house's roof, they grabbed each others hands started to jump and dance around as they laughed. The fire had scorched the pathway it was targeting, making smoke rise from it. Mari jumped to her feet with her fists clenched and tears dropping from her face. "Come back here, You perv's!" Mari shouted in a angry tone.

'Damage Dice' :

Ren would watch Mari run after these monsters than, shrugging as she rolls her eyes. She continues on towards the dam, looking back every now and then to see if Mari's there. She stops for a moment, turning her head towards the ground as she prepares her spell. "Water Dragon's Roar!" Water would jet from her mouth, propelling her forward. She would be sent flying in the air at high speed, reaching the dam in seconds. She lands at the base. She looks around, the area being flooded with knee-high water. She would stand in the water, waiting for Mari. Can't believe she's wasting her time with those things... She would think to herself. She places her arms into the water, "listening" to the water. She finds the leak near the left side of the base. She hears a sound coming from behind her. She begins to raise her arms, using the water around her to her advantage. She builds up a wall of water behind her, as she sees three dark figures appear in front of her. This should be fun... She would send her arms forward, the water jetting towards these figures as they jump out of the way. Approaching, she could see their faces.

Mari stared at the jumping monkey's with her hands clenched tightly. She could hear the foot steps of Ren running past her, continuing to the dam. Mari decided to stay with the monkey's and stop them from doing anything else, or even something worse. Mari charged toward the monkey's and jumped onto the roof and slipped off once she landed crashing onto the ground. "Dam those monkey's have better grip then me." She said scratching her head. She looked toward Ignis and they both nodded their heads once they made eye contact. "Ignis let's go!" Mari said jumping off the wall of a nearby house, with Ignis right behind her, he put his arm's under her's and held tightly, allowing Mari to hover. They dashed toward the two monkey's. They made a surprise face as Maria and Ignis hovered toward them and started to run away by jumping onto the ground. Mari and Ignis rush down toward them. Mari punches her fists together, creating a red magic crest in front of her. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" a large stream of fire from each of his/her arms as she flew toward them looked like large wing's. She grabbed them both by the head and striked them both outward with blunt force, making them fly in opposite directions. She jumped and hovered in the air. "Ignis let's go to the Dam, Ren might be worried that we've been gone to long" Mari said as Ignis nodded and flew into the direction of the dam.

'Damage Dice' :

Ren looks at the Nightingale Cat, then to the two Vulcans, sighing in annoyance. Are you serious? This is becoming very bothersome! Ren would say just as the enemies begin to approach her. She would send her arms up, using the water around her to her advantage. She creates a wall of water behind her, this intimidating the monsters. She sends her arms forward once the water reaches an adequate level. She sends it flying towards the monsters. Not wasting any time, she would place her hands up to her mouth, a jet of water traveling towards the weaker Vulcan, casting her Water Dragon's Despair quickly after her previous attack. Sharp raindrops would rain down onto the enemies. Just as the succession of attacks subside, Ren would use this small moment of vulnerability repeating her Water Dragon's Roar attack, this being the final blow to knocking all the enemies on their ass, leaving them dazed and knocked out. She falls over on her back onto the water, having exhausted three quarters of her magical power on these guys. She waits for Mari as she lies there, watching the amazed faces of the nearby villagers standing there having watched her fight.

Ignis and Mari flew through the air and with both their heads toward the ground they searched for a trail that would lead them toward where Ren was. As they continued to fly through the air, they started to pass the village and started to see trees and bushes, which meant they started to enter the forest near the village along with the river of water, with tons of animals running in the same direction of the water, but trying to get away. Mari started to lose altitude from Ignis losing power. "Ah Ignis! Come on bring us down, I'll walk the rest of the way." Ignis landed Mari onto her feet and flew into her arms as she held him like a baby. "Lets go, I think if we follow this stream we'll find the dam." Mari said as she started to run.

Reaching the base of the dam Mari noticed Ren on the ground with water surrounding her all around and also some monsters that seemed to be unconscious. "Wow, remind me never to get you mad." Mari said jokingly as she walked closer, still holding Ignis. "Have you found out the problem?" Mari asked.

I guess I overdid it a little... She says as she lies on the ground. There's a pretty big leak over towards the left side. She looks to her left then, seeing two more Vulcans appear from nowhere. Mari, look out! Ren's exceed, Luna, swoops down and grabs Ren, just as she pulls out her kusarigama. She spins it at her side, one hand on the base, the other halfway up the chain. She sends it into the side of a nearby building, just as Luna lets her go. She uses this to swing over to one of the Vulcans, sending her heel into it's face. It would've been caught off guard, flying into a wall. It gets back up just as quickly, slashing at her, but Ren, still swinging around on her kusarigama, dodges it quite easily. The other's yours Mari! Make him regret that he stepped out of the darkness! She lands onto one of the buildings' roof. She sends the kusarigama back in it's place. Luna would come down onto Ren's head, smiling. You hit it good Ren! It was so funny watching it slam into that wall! Just then Luna would bring out her wings, flying Ren back over to Mari.

Two more vulcans appeared from the shadow's coming in for a sneak attack toward Mari and Ren. Ren suddenly caught wind of them before they reach the sky "Mari watch out!" Ren shouted as her exceed Luna came swooping down and grabbing ren. Mari however was still holding onto Ignis, so she had to run from the vulcan's and hid behind a house. "I'll be back Ignis. Just sit here and rest a bit." Ignis nodded to Mari as she spoke. Mari got up and started to run back toward the Vulcan's and watched as one flew into a home of the villagers. "The other's yours Mari! Make him regret that he stepped out of the darkness!" Mari charged toward the other vulcan as Ren shouted toward her. "Alright!" Mari shouted.

Mari charged toward the Vulcan punch straight toward his stomach, he flexed and her punch was bounced of but left a bruise. She quick used her right foot to spin using the loose dirt and lifted her left leg, spinning it around to hit his right arm. He grabbed her leg and flipped her into the air. "Fire Dragon's Crushing Talon!" She said with her right foot engulfed in fire. She used the flipping motion to speed her drop kick as the Vulcan tried to block, her foot crushed his arms onto his head making him fall back. She punch him again only after he had regained his balance and blocked it with his arms, though the punch was strong enough to push his arm's aside. She grabbed his head and he grabbed her's and they both went for a head butt. Crashing their head together making a loud "Bang" sound. They let each other go and in a few moments the vulcan fell, not being able to hold himself up any longer. "That was tough." Said Mari. "Now just to plug up the hole before anything else happens." But before another explosion occurred in the same place as before, the explosion can be seen from their position. "Dam another one! Wait the person behind it must be near it, lets hurry!" Mari shouted soon after a large sound of water started to get closer.

Ren would watch as another explosion occur. She sends herself up on her feet, initiating a Water Dragon's Roar, propelling her to the top of the damn in seconds. She lands on her feet, watching the mysterious man run off into the woods nearby. She chases after him, about to use another attack, just as his friend jumps out from a bush, tackling down Ren. She struggles to get him off, his weight bearing down on her. She eventually pushes him to side once she freed her right hand. She quickly shoots up, backing up as she begins her Water Dragon's Despair. A cloud would form over the assailant, knife sharp raindrops pouring down onto him. It would leave him in cuts, causing him to collapse from the pain. She would watch as Mari passes her running after the mysterious figure from before. Ren would go after him as well, making sure no one sneaks up on her again as she runs. Ren would sprint past Mari, sending herself into the mysterious figure, pinning him down. She would pull his hood back, revealing to be a young man, about 23 years of age. She would use her Water Dragon's Fear on him, trapping him inside of a water sphere, waiting for Mari to arrive.
