Appearance: With her hair cut short and her glasses no longer necessary, it is readily apparent that Winter’s Daughter is far more ravishing than previously noticed by her peers. Her manner of dress is still conservative compared to what others might be wearing, it is different than the casual clothing she had worn previously. Nowadays, she can be seen wearing something akin to a school uniform of some variety: a white skirt extending down to her knees, a black overcoat with blue edges, and stockings going up to her knees from her tidy black shoes. Although she always had fair skin, it appears her complexion has become quite pale compared to her previous appearance.

Personality: Upon meeting Grace for the first time since her return to Fiore, those that had met her previously would hardly recognize her as of today. No longer is she the chatty, scatter-brained airhead that people knew before; her words are blunt and pointed, her organization clear, and her intellect readily apparent in her words and thoughts. She no longer holds the same bright and cheery demeanor that defined her interactions with her coworkers and friends; she is unaffectionate, focused, and honest to the point of brutality. Where she was once willing to talk for days on end about her explorations and experiences outside of the country, she now is eerily silent. Her brilliance--once trademarked by the endless stream of observations and facts coming out of her mouth--is now hardened by the cold winter heart that resides inside of her. Although, on occasion, it may seem possible to pull the "old" Gracie out of the cold shell that she has built around her, more often than not those attempts are met with scorn or distaste from Ms. Evolan.

For most, the shift from her formerly extraverted nature into that of her current introverted one is a confusing one indeed. Many of the characteristics she once had in her previous state of mind are retained in her present one, but they have taken on new phenotypes. She is still more than capable of having an intellectual conversation about a number of topics, but her ability to babble senselessly about them has disappeared and been replaced with more pointed and focused words. The brilliant and flamboyant display of her intelligence in the form of massive reports and constant dedication to writing down every observation has been replaced with the subdued mechanisms of mental note taking and reading. Other traits, however, have morphed entirely. While before she was able to tolerate and even partake in the shenanigans and tomfoolery of her peers, she now finds such activities nothing short of baffoonery. Her curiosity, once an innocent mechanism that allowed her to go days and days on end with the intention of finding the answer to a question, has now taken on a darker and more sadistic turn. Her interests lay not in the physical world and its phenomena, but in the limits of the human body and psyche. Her once caring and kind heart has become covered in ice and as barren as the winter tundra.

Despite her shift in personality, her use of magic in battle remains largely the same as before. She will take as long as she likes to study and analyze her opponent(s) before making a move, exploiting any weaknesses she may have observed over the course of the conflict; she still retains her tendency to goad her opponents into situations. In addition, one may find that she prefers to draw a battle out as long as possible. Part of this is due to her newfound penchant for sadism, but the other part of it is the fact that she will study and toy with her opponent as she pleases until she is no longer entertained by the fight. Highly intuitive, Gracie rarely makes plans ahead of time if she is in a leadership position; instead, she will bend the situation in her favor as it unfolds. When under a leader, Ms. Evolan is a begrudging follower, at best. She will endlessly complain if something is inefficient or an illogical move on the leader's part, and will more than likely try to wring some level of power off for herself so she can do what she thinks needs to be done.

Likes:
❅ Reading- By far her favorite pastime.
❅ Organization- Despite her previous aversion to do any sort of house keeping or organization, it seems that she can’t stand any lack of organization nowadays.
❅ Winter- As a mage who controls the ice and snow, it’s only natural that her favorite season be the one where those things are most prevalent.

Dislikes:
❅ Boredom- Although her curiosity often takes good care of her need for entertainment, she still heavily dislikes being bored and may take it out on someone if it gets bad enough….
❅ Rules- Her dislike of rules comes no longer from her desire to be spontaneous, but her need to do as she pleases and achieve what she sets out to do.
❅ Summer- The season in which she has to expend the most energy to cast her spells or be of use. If only it could stay winter year round…

Motivations:
❅ Curiosity- Her curiosity is still, perhaps, her single most driving component of her decision making. Most everything she does can be traced back to an instance where something caught her attention or made her wonder...however, those curious thoughts have become increasingly morbid as of late...
❅ Knowledge- Her desire for knowledge is, again, an important component in her decision making.
❅ Power- Although paling in comparison to the motivations of her curiosity and desire for knowledge, power is an attractive thing for any person, no?

Fears:
❅ Snakes- Despite her hardened exterior, she is still highly disturbed by snakes.
❅ Failure- Her fear of failure is not born out of any self loathing or emotional trauma of her own doing, but instead out of what her mother might do if she found out...
❅ Weakness- Her intolerance of weakness comes from the fact that she is always questioning whether she is, in fact, too weak to do what has been asked of her.
