Type: Combat Pet
Description: Leon is a brave and honorable Exceed of the Nemean Clan, who in his native land of Edolas was revered as a Hero. With that said, he is one of the few Exceed to have actually lived and fought in Edolas before traveling to Earth Land, where much of his power was lost. Having lost his ability to permanently remain in what he now refers to as his "battle mode" Leon has acquired a more bitter personality than what he used to have. Going from a large, ferocious looking Lion to a house cat has had a real negative impact on his Pride. Any mention of his size, or the fact that he's "Cute" will cause him to erupt in anger most of the time. Though despite his bitterness, Leon has a very good heart and is more than willing to help those in need of assistance. Though he generally always speaks in a stern tone of voice and is overall quite a serious person. He tends to think of himself as Shuhei's babysitter and disagrees with Shuhei on most things, referring to him as an Idiot or moron and will sometimes go as far as to strike some sense in to him, literally. Leon appears to be a Siamese cat in his neutral stage. Possessing very light orange fur with dark brown ears, paws, face and tail. He carries several scars on his body, most of which have become too small to notice in his neutral stage. Though the crescent shaped scar over his right eye and the chunk missing out of his left ear are still quite visible.
Abilities:Battle Mode: Leon's battle mode is what remains of his former strength. He grows significantly, standing approximately seven feet tall with a wide build and bearing. His muscles also ripple outward causing the battle scars that were too small to be noticed in his neutral stage to become quite apparent. His claws and fangs also grow significantly to the point where he's capable of using them to fight and lastly he grows a large Lions mane around his head. He's incapable of maintaining this form for more than a few hours a day, depending on what needs to be done. His wing span also grows enormously to the point where he's capable of carrying up to 2 people while flying. All other abilities he possesses can also only be used in Battle mode. Naturally however, he possesses significant physical strength and razor sharp claws and teeth that can cut through iron. A physical attack from Leon is the equivalent of a high end C-Rank spell and depending on the effects of a spell, Leon can deflect incoming spells or projectiles. D-Rank spells do not harm Leon, however he can still be afflicted by negative buffs.

Name: Nemean Might
Rank: A-Rank
Description: This is the ability that earned Leon his fame in Edolas. Leon is capable of strengthening his skin with magic to the point where he's capable of withstanding up to A-Rank spells for a short period of time. While this spell is active, he cannot be burned, cut, pounded or injured by any means and becomes a living wrecking ball. How this spell works is different from others. Instead of a set duration, Leons skin is granted a magic rating of 1200. (see magic rules for details on power ratings.) Meaning he's capable of withstanding up to 1 A-Rank spell, up to 3 B-Rank spells, 6 C-Rank spells. Since Leon can passively withstand D-Rank spells, they have no effect on the magic rating. Though Leon may not sustain damage, the damage on this shield spell stacks and disintegrates it over time.
Strengths: This long lasting Shield makes Leon a very deadly foe for a lower ranking mage, allowing for greater durability and the ability to plow through spells without sustaining damage and also act as meat shield for Shuhei. So long as the magic rating doesn't fall below 0, Leon will sustain absolutely no damage.
Weaknesses: 6 post cool down. The cool down only starts when the magic rating of the shield reaches 0 which means if it falls to a low number like 100, receiving a hit from a higher ranked spell will cause him to sustain a great amount of damage which increases the risk factor of the spell and makes it increasingly difficult to use multiple times in one fight. The shield also only protects Leon from physical damage. Negative buffs can still affect him, but won't reduce the magic rating of the shield.
Name: Nemean Ferocity
Rank:B-Rank
Description: Leons strength amplifies greatly to the point where he's capable of launching a single physical attack the equivalent of a B-Rank spell. With this skill he's capable of punching through shields of equal rank, breaking weapons that can be broken by B-Rank spells and charge through walls. If used in conjunction with Nemean Might, Leon is capable of breaking an S-Rank spell, defensive or offensive, but both spells will be cancelled immediately.
Strengths: lasts up to five posts. This spell allows Leon to strike with greater force granting him the ability to counter enemy spells of equal rank without having to use the magic points from Nemean Might. The combination of Nemean Ferocity and Might turns Leon in to the very definition of a tank.
Weaknesses: 4 post cool down. Leon can only perform one action per post that would be the equivalent of a B-rank spell. This spell is purely physical, which in some scenarios may put Leon at a disadvantage.
