Selia is a sweet and intelligent girl. Even though she came from a rich family, she got a scholarship for “Ravenscroft Ridge”, a private school on a completely different continent then Mongolia. She is school smart. She tends to like to follow to follow the rules; however, this does not stop her from breaking the rules, if it is for the good of the majority of the people.
While at school she became the student body president, all 4 years she was there. She was reelected 3 times after her freshman year, the first time being in her freshman year. She has superb leadership skills, telling people what to do. She usually is Nice and calm when leading to people, always saying “Please” and “Thank you”. However, if forced to work with a group of people who decide not to listen to her, she well get serious.
Even though she was student body leader, she still knows how to follow directions. Being what is known as a “Teachers pet” she always did what she was told. Even after, when she join the SSM, the secret society of magic, AKA, a forbidden guild that a group of the school magic using students started to let other students flourish their magic potential, she learned to do what she was told. Even if it meant going behind the teachers back she did what she was told with almost no questions asked.
Inside (outside as well), Selia loves people. She rarely tries to hurt people, but her being in elections so many times makes her not a fan of losing. She will do what is in her power to win. She will never break the rules, she may occasionally bend them, but she will NEVER break them. Her physical strength isn’t that strong, so when in battle she relies on pure strategy and magical power, however a weapon might come in handy as well.
Outside battle she tries and takes care of people. Some might call her the robin hood of mages, except a little more attractive, and instead of being homeless she comes from one of the richest families in the world. However, her love has her limits. For instance, to the man known as the Keeper of Savage Skulls, Lord Fredrick (OCC: me and LF have already discussed this and he is fine with this). When her sister died, AKA the keeper’s wife, she started to blame him. Even though she does not know of him being in a dark guild, she still blames him for her sister’s death. But, to other people other than her ex-brother in-law, she is a saint. Still might break the occasional rule but only for the sake of the peoples good. “Breaking Rules in Life, and Breaking Rules in combat are two different topics” she likes to say.
In Combat, it is like a competition. You want to know that YOU are the best for your training and potential, she learned this lesson during the duels in the SSM, she won quite a few of them but occasionally lost, but it is better to lose by defeat, then win by a cheat. However, in life, there are exceptions. If someone is homeless, then maybe it is only right for them to steal a piece of bread. If someone kills your sister, maybe they deserve to die. All of these are exceptions.
Likes:
-Dogs: they are so loyal to their owners, Selia appreciates this, not to mention they are cute.
-Music: she has had some depression in the past. Not depression where she gets mad at people, but when she feels like nothing matters. Listening to music helps fill the emptiness she feels when the depression kicks in.
-helping people: as a former leader, she loves the satisfaction of being asked to do something, and then the appreciation she gets from actually doing it.
-Winning: running for elections sense she was in middle school, aka 11, she loves the satisfaction of winning an election. Tis has even carried on into her life as a battle mage.
Dislikes:
-Spiders: they are little creepy. The big ones she can handle, but the little ones have their way of creeping up on you and scarring you, she doesn’t like that.
-Dark Mages: Dark Mages are murderers, and a murderer killed her sister.
-Disappointment: not so much her being disappointed, but her disappointing others. Whenever she can’t do something she feels helpless and then gets depressed when she can’t help other people.
-Losing: In elections, she has only lost once, and she almost killed herself after she lost. After she decided it wasn’t worth it, she decided to never let it happen again, this has followed her into battle.
Motivations:
-The magic council: She has been a leader sense she was 11, the magic council or being a guild leader would be like the best job for her.
-Change: changing the world to be a better place, one of the reasons she wants to be in the MC so because of how bad f a job they are doing, if she cant be in the MC then they might as well be replaced.
-Finding Fredrick: she hasn’t talked to him sense her sisters funeral, she needs closure, not only closure, but killing the man who killed her sister.
Fears:
-Death: seeing her sister in that coffin scared her of death. She made a promise that she would live on for her, and she is not one to break her promises.
-Losing: Losing and Disappointment both fall under dislikes, and fears. If she looses then she lets her guild down, and she cannot let that happen.
-Falling into the darkness: Even though she is a firm believer of following the rules unless exceptions are needed, she does not want to be pulled into the darkness and make the wrong kind of exceptions.
