It's a
Gundam!
Gundam!
That bastard, Markov Shazinski, had betrayed the Isayev Heavy Industries. Anger and annoyance filled Anastasia as the engines of the S.S. Myrmidon began to hum. She cleared her throat and crossed her arms as the ship started up. Her eyes looking down at her father for a moment. She knew not to hire that guy, but her father insisted. How annoying! The man just simply marches out of Isayev Heavy Industries and who did they call? Anastasia! They had their own run-away/interceptor crew, but they contacted Anastasia, who was already in the middle of something.
When the news broke out that Markov took off with the Tesseract, a call was instantly sent towards the Royal Capital and they were placed on high alert. The Royal Capital was always subject of some of his 'crock-pot' conspiracy theories that everyone seemed to brush off. It was him painting the Royal Capital as a creation of evil that became a cause for concern; and with her father informing the capital of a traitor stealing one of their suits, Isayev Heavy Industries is absolved of all guilt if any damage WERE to occur to the Royal Capital. At this point, the Royal Capital, being the helpless babes as they were, should get destroyed one of these days. She's getting a bit tired of saving the city from massive monstrosities.
First she had to save the stupid Royal Capital from from Captain Chernoff; one instance she felt obligated to help the Royal Capital. Well, if she let Captain Chernoff do what he wanted to, she felt that a new government would kinda be her fault if it got set up, knowing full well what the Pirate Kings wanted to do. Second, she ended up saving the Royal Capital by purging demons from the Royal Capital. Now she has to prevent a run-away mech stolen by a prior dark mage from reaching the capital. The nerve of it all! They were told right from the start that he was a prior dark mage, but in her father's infinite wisdom, he decided to give him a second chance at life. And this was the result of that second chance.
"Of all things, you let him get away with the Tesseract Sentry? Really?! And it's fully loaded?" Anastasia asked, looking for answers. "Uh, yeah. We were going to start doing some field tests the day after tomorrow, so it was loaded with weaponry," her father, Ivan, replied. "Then how about the killswitch?" she asked. "Well, about that...." Ivan asked as his voice trailed. A grumble came from Anastasia when she was given the green light for launch.
"Get the Sentry Transport ready. When I give you a call, the transport should be there pronto. Don't keep me waiting," she said with another grumble before the gate of her ship is closed and the engines began to roar furiously. The roaring of the engine and the jetwash caused her father and any other person watching to back off away from the S.S. Myrmidon. Upon seeing her father back off, she retreated to the bridge of the ship where her men and Taliya stood up. When she entered the bridge, Taliya shouted, "Captain on the bridge!" prompting the men to stand up in respect for Anastasia.
"Everyone, we are going to be chasing after a mechanical monster. This monster is just as massive as my Dragon Armor and has the capacity to destroy a nation," she said as she spoke to the crew. A hush fell over the crew as they listened. Her voice was transmitted throughout the entire ship. "This Sentry is called the 'Tesseract' and is equipped with," she said as she started to rattle off about it's armaments, to include the mecha's drones it is equipped with.
"Upon reaching the battlefield, you will leave me and Taliya to fight this thing. It's too dangerous for the SS Myrmidon to approach without being destroyed. No matter what happens to us, you will stay out of it, understood?" she asked.
"Yes, Ma'am!" the men stated. They didn't seem to like the idea of just leaving Anastasia and Taliya alone to fight against this monstrosity, but they knew it was for the best. A waste of life is still a waste of life.
"It's last known location was the Mysterious Canyon," she said before turning to look towards the helm. "Helmsman! Set a course for the Mysterious Canyon!"
"Aye aye!" the helmsman stated before Anastasia dictated. "Engines at 80% power," she said before a call over the intercom system replied, "Aye aye, Ma'am!"
"Let's take down this mechanical beast," she stated before the ship turned and started to zip across the sky towards the Mysterious Canyon.

- Job Title: Taking Down the Mechanical Giant
Rank: A
Player Requirements: 1 A Rank or 2 B Rank mages. 5 Mages Max
Job Requirements: Defeat the boss. The boss MAY summon minions in the form of Weak, Normal, and Strong Monsters. The monster rolls aren't necessary but may grant more rewards. 15,000 words minimum, +1000 words for every mage beyond the first
Job Location: Mysterious Canyon
Job Description:
A man by the name of Markov Shazinski was hired by Masenko Tech to infiltrate Isayev Heavy Industries to steal their latest Magitek Suit, The Tesseract. What his actual intentions are unknown, but he was last seen heading through the Mysterious Canyon towards the Royal Castle. From the looks of things, Markov had also infiltrated Masenko Tech to suit his own purpose. Your job is to take down The Tesseract unit without destroying it. Be careful as The Tesseract comes fully loaded with a LOT of weaponry and a lot of drones at it's disposal. This was, after all, a weapon meant to be used to conquer nations.
What little we know about Markov Shazinski is that he used to be a mage for a small dark guild called "Heaven's Wrath" who wanted to overthrow the government of Fiore. We don't know the reason why they want to overthrow the government of Fiore, but what we do know is that if he manages to get The Tesseract unit to the Royal Castle, that may be the end of our society as we know it. So failure is not an option.
After you enter the Mysterious Canyons, you will encounter the Tesseract unit from the start. Be careful when fighting as it can summon a bunch of smaller drones from within it. You may or may not have to encounter the small drones. Be very wary if you're going to fly near it in a large vehicle as it will immediately aim for airships. So we suggest to not bring any airships with you on this mission. Good luck and godspeed. You can't fail this one so we're counting on you.
Enemies:
Weak -
Nano-Machine Swarm: Thousands of microscopic machines bundle up into what appears to be clouds of haze. While they move slowly, if one is to come in contact with the cloud, they suffer A Rank DoT damage for 5 posts (50% A Rank damage initially, 25% A Rank damage every post afterward). These swarms are able to withstand 1 A Rank hit before being destroyed.
Normal -
Suicide Drones: These drones are capable of curling themselves up into a ball and rolling around on the surface. These drones can be taken down by 4 A Rank hits. Upon being destroyed or being out for 3 posts, they will explode dealing A Rank damage to a 10x10 area. One drone exploding can cause others to explode as well, creating a chain reaction. These drones have no other attacks.
Strong -
Autonomous Orbital Units: Extremely quick and extremely agile. These airborne mechanical nightmares are capable of spitting out focused beams of pure energy at a target at a high rate. Each beam deals B Rank damage, but they are capable of firing this beam up to 4 times per volley. These things are quite difficult to track, but they are extremely flimsy; being capable of being taken down in 3 A Rank hits.
Boss - When a boss is rolled, you obtain 3x Strong Monsters
