So I was thinking about something 5 minutes ago and I really noticed something:
0-Post cooldown Signature Spells become a lot less effective when you are doing longer-post jobs, and ANY spell become ineffective when doing the word count method, as well as regenerative abilities, DoT spells, etc. Can there be a rule on jobs (This does NOT portain to PvP, because that would be a mess) that a certain word count could be considered 1 post when it comes to Spells?
What I mean by this is: Let's say we have a job that has a 500 word word count per post. If the rule on "job cooldowns" makes it that one "cooldown post" is 250 words then you would be able to perform a signature spell with 0 cooldown twice in that post, or go through 2 posts worth of cooldown. This would make longer jobs a hell of a lot easier to fling spells in when in combat.
"What about shorter jobs?" You say. Well if a job has a lesser word count per post than the "cooldown wc" is, then just simply go by normal cooldown rules. Let's say the "cooldown wc" is 250 words and a wc per post of a job is 200 words, then you'd just have to wait a normal post in order to use that.
This would also make doing the word count method a lot easier, as the wc method makes it all 1 post, or at least a very short amount of long AF posts. Under current cooldown rules if you were doing the wc method you'd only be able to use each spell in your arsenal only ONE TIME throughout the entire job.
As for a general "cooldown wc" I'd probably say 250 to 300 words would be optimal just because of how much actually goes on in 250 to 300 posts, unless someone just fills that with fluff. So how does this sound?
