Diverting the flood. (Nightken and Naraku)

Naraku had decided for this particular mission that she did not want to ride her wolf. Mostly because getting through the forest would be difficult on his back. For this reason she was flying there using her wind magic whilst carrying the wolf in his small form as if he was a teddy bear. She arrived at the village entrance awaiting her partner to arrive. This mission would certainly be interesting for her because unlike most of the missions she took part in she was not here to destroy or kill. No she was here to fix a dam. There would be some killing and probably torture later, but that would have to wait. The levees needed to be repaired first though how she was going to do that she had no idea. Perhaps her partner would have an idea. She wondered who it would be. She hoped it was Eve, but she doubted it. Besides, she was pretty sure her partner was meant to be from Fairy Tail and if she remembered rightly Eve was from the Rune Knights.

"I wonder how long they'll be." she said with a thoughful expression and then began to sing the song pop goes the weasel in a very creepy voice. She often sang children's songs whilst waiting for people to arrive. No-one ever asked how she knew them though. After all, she had only entered the real world relatively recently after being raised in Hell by a demon. Fluffy barked along, despite being able to talk English he preffered to act like a proper dog/wolf, to the tune. He enjoyed her singing.

As the girl waited and sang she began to think about how best to fix the dam. Perhaps a temporary reinforcement would be ok and then the people of the village could hire someone to fix it properly later. That seemed like a plausible idea. With the aid of her magic and Fluffy's strength she could probably put some stone and trees as extra reinforcement. Then again, maybe the village had equipment to fix it and they were expecting the mages to do that. In truth she felt this was a job that was below her. It seemed more the job for a stone mason or architect then someone of her power. The finding those responsible though...that was the fun bit. That was why she had signed up.

Nightken was riding Tenshu to the Mountain Village to help the village folk out. “Come on Tenshu we need to hurry up we’re running behind time.” Nightken said as Tenshu sped up. Flying over the village the sound of children stories could be heard being sung creepily along with the sound of a wolf howling. “The note I got did say my partner for this job is a bit creepy.” He said as they landed in front of the village. Walking over to where the singing was coming from he could see a little girl holding a wolf pup. “You must be the person I’m working with. I’m Nightken nice to meet you.” He introduced himself to her. The little wolf started to growl as he walked up. Ignoring the wolf completely he suggested that they should go see what all they need to do before they meet the village leader. “Tenshu you’re going to be helping with the heavy lifting.” He said to his wyvern. Tenshu didn't look too enthusiastic about helping with the lifting. “Oh stop your complaining a little heavy lifting isn't going kill you.” As he said that Tenshu smacked him on the back with his tail pushing him a few feet forward. “Temperamental wyvern you know this isn't the time for you to be having a fit.” Nightken said to Tenshu while he dusted himself off.

Naraku placed a hand on Fluffy's head and he immediately stopped growling. "I'm Naraku and that sounds good." she said giving him a smile and a thumbs up. With that she lifted up the wolf and rose into the air smiling at the man before heading towards the levees themselves. The flight power she gained from her wind magic was truly useful. It made transport much easier, or at least so she felt. Of course, she had a flight ability anyway, but this meant she didn't have to waste as much energy and the flight was limitless. Yes, a much better power overall. Or that was how she saw it. The man had come on a wyvern so it made sense to fly to their destination because he would likely do that for higher speed. After all, time was of the essence or so she would assume what with the urgency in the message.

"Nightie...do you know where the holes are?" she asked looking at the man as she hovered a few feet above the ground. She wasn't quite sure where they were. She had no idea how to even begin looking for them. Particularly because the area was quite large. It would waste time that was for certain. And time was definitely of the essence.

“Nightie? Never heard someone call me that before.” He said while getting back on Tenshu. Flying above the village he could see exactly where they have to work. “Yeah it’s on the other side of the village." He said hopping off of Tenshu and started to walk to they village leader’s house. “Tenshu wait for me at the work site.” He said while his wyvern flew off. “Hey let’s go to the village leader’s place.” He said walking through the village. Walking through the village he could see people that were scared looking at the edge around the village like if they didn't something is going to happen to them. “What are they looking for?” He asked aloud as the bushes near the town started to move as a shadowy figure started moving from bush to bush. “What was that?” One of the villagers said aloud. Five people headed over towards it with spears in hand. “Hey we should give them a hand.” Nightken said as he quickly used his cursed seal lineage and pulled out both of his swords out of the vortex and headed over towards the bush putting his swords on his side. “Leave this to us.” Nightken said as he drew both of his swords one was coated in blue electricity while the other was coated in black electricity.

'Monster Dice' :

Naraku saw the work site and nodded. Quite a lot of damage to repair. However, for now they were going to the village leaders to discuss it. Yet on their way Nightken suggested they help the villagers with something. It was quite a bright lit day and so within the bushes the faint outline of a large black cat was visible. She lunged forward suddenly slamming her wrists together so the palms were facing towards the large Nightingale cat. A second later a high pressure blast of wind was launched the five foot distance between them. The power of it was equal to a strong rank weapon and was very swift going about 10ft per second. Therefore, unless the creature dodged it would likely be hit very hard by the blast of high wind enough to almost kill him. Probably, not enough to kill it, but at least weaken it heavily in order for Nightken to finish it off. "Winds of Hell"

Unfortunately, the beast was faster than she had expected and dodged her blast despite the close range. Quite irritating in its own way, but also interesting. She hadn't expected a mere cat to challenge her abilities. Well, if anything it was merely challenging her accuracy or speed and not her power. Still, irritating and interesting in its own way. "Clever kitty." she said offhandedly. She wondered if Nightken would be able to hit it.
