Hope possesses a unique body chemistry that causes him to fall ill should he come in contact with salt air or sea water, rendering him ill-suited to such tasks like going to the beach or cruises unless he takes the necessary precautions.
⚘ Personality: For as long as he can remember, Hope has always been the soft-spoken quiet type, a true wallflower who enjoys listening to others more than speaking. Though he shows no anxiety when placed within large groups of people, he opts for fading into the crowd and is the type who doesn't like to be the center of attention or be put in the spotlight. He greatly dislikes being put in a leadership position. But because of his effeminate appearance and mysterious personality, there is something quite entrancing about him and he often draws unwanted attention from other males, some of whom desire to either protect him or use him. Growing up, he became accustomed to being used and therefore, developed a high tolerance to pain and heartache and in order to avoid further degradation, he has made sure to prioritize his demure, reserved, and modest nature so as not to draw attention to himself. However, this has been a double edged sword as most find mystery to be the most alluring quality. Though find him unnaturally lovely for a boy, he is someone who doesn't really acknowledge it. Hope doesn't really base of the crux of who he is on his outward appearance. In some regards, he finds that kind of visual outlook on a person to be shallow. He's more concerned with a person's character.
Though mature, sensible, and capable of controlling his pain, he has become quite accustomed to believing in the hearts of others. Highly spiritual and a catholic devout in his prayers to the higher being that be, Hope has taken his own internal pain and turned it into a beacon of compassion, empathy, and sympathy. Hope's androgynous nature has a way of being able to appease to others, placate them somehow--calm them down and help them see the big picture. He appreciates the kindness of others and goes out of his way to repay them. Like a purity ring, his presence is sometimes enough to bring out the softer qualities in those around him. The guy is real sweetheart, who is courteous and thoughtful to and he is known giving people the benefit of a doubt, even when they don't deserve it. Diplomatic to a fault, he believes in people more than he probably should and gives others a chance to bask in the light.
But there is something quite mysterious and incomprehensible about him. He has learnt over the years to hide his despondency behind a subtle smile and coy gestures. Hope is incredibly perceptive, bright, and intellectual, but slyly hides his sagacious wisdom behind his cryptic nature and poetic-like manners so as to not appear haughty. He has a subtle and equivocal way of shedding light on a situation while simultaneously withholding the deepest and darkest of secrets. With a tolerance for pain that is very high, its practically become a talent of his to be able to keep his past and the confidences of others hidden. He is truly like a strategist of sorts, meandering behind the scenes until he is called forth.
But as someone who is a lover of poetry, he is a lover of dreams and abstractions. Hope is a young man who seeks out the ephemeral and romanticizes the world around him so it is easier to believe in. He feels the world around him in words and lyrical rhythms, a flowing stream suddenly becomes a beautifully intricate sonnet about the cascading waters and glimmering rainbow fish. Even his way of speaking is quite graceful and poetic, augmented by an airy, pacifying kind of tonal voice. Hope is a lover of math, literature, ancient classics, poetry, and art. Art in all forms; painting, sculptures, pottery, calligraphy. He has a fine appreciation for such things and enjoys dabbling in them when he gets the chance. He enjoys the things most people find to be mundane. These particular interest take patience, something most people greatly value but do not have. Hope is extremely patient and rarely gets flustered by time because he has an uncanny ability and willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay. This in turn, makes him an excellent person for when seeking advice, though one may have to uncover the pith of his riddles to see the big picture as he does.
In combat, Hope takes on a more supportive role for his team, and his lovely appearance belies incredible resolve and an uncanny ability to adapt and acclimatize. Unusual amongst most mages, he is a quintessential healer who prefers to stay behind the lines of battle to aid his allies, while still being able to coordinate the outcome of the current situation and handle his own enemies from afar. He is lightweight and thin, making him physically weak and fragile to assault, but this also allows him to be quite speedy and elusive with his movements. He is feathery on his feet and his dainty steps make it seem as though he is walking on air. He's got a knack for escaping danger, as though his feet drag him to just the right spot to avoid capture. Despite this, he is still very vulnerable, so he generally needs to be protected if he becomes greatly outnumbered. He is primarily pacifistic, and will try his best to defeat his foes without having to cause them immense harm or worse, death. For Hope, killing is a last resort measure when all other resources have failed, so his main focus is sustaining the health of his allies so they may be victorious.

-Learning; Hope has always been classically smart, despite the pain he suffered in the past, so he gravitated towards complex concepts and found them puzzling and enjoyable to learn to take his mind off the many issues he faced.
-Spiritualism: Though he does not impose his beliefs onto others, he is a devout Catholic who found solace in prayer to the powers that be, spiritual optimism, and meditation.
-Healing Others; With a heart like a mother, and with a penchant and natural aptitude for taking care of others, he began to delve into healing magic to help those in pain who cannot help themselves.

-Fear 3; Okami. Someone from Hope's past who is possessive and will do anything to get him back. Okami is an intimidating young man a few years older than Hope. He is the son of an underground magical drug selling kingpin. Okami can use a wereworlf takeover magic, making it difficult for Hope to completely avoid him. But being in a guild with people who will look after him has its benefits against keeping Okami at bay.

Taking greatly after his mother and grandmother, Hope is an effeminate and lovely young man often mistaken for girl because of his voice, thin body, style of dress, and feminine facial features. Like the darkest waters of a starry night, his midnight blue head of long hair hangs down his shoulders and flows with the gentlest of breezes. His comely face sits rightfully on his thin neck, accentuated by watery slate eyes. A small nose, small lips, long curly thick eyelashes, and thin straight eyebrows further perpetuate his angelic like appearance. Hope's skin is porcelain and smooth, like a beautiful world washed with snow. Though pull back the garbs and one would definitely take notice of the numerous scars on his arms and forearms.
Appearing as though he could easily be blown away by the wind, he has a very willowy frame, flat chest, slim arms, and an overall lanky body. Hope keeps himself covered in a feminine dress of white and blue hues, though he sometimes wears a nursing outfit which consist of a sky blue robe with a white collar and white cuffs, a white apron with a left pocket, and a white bonnet featuring a red symbol. On the left sleeve there appears to be embroidery of the same symbol. Underneath his clothes, is a thick choker with a catholic cross hanging from it. A hair pearls and a white camellia sometimes sits upon his head, and his bangs frame over parts of his face. Sometimes he will stylize his hair into high ponytail. Wrapped around his left wrist is a bracelet with a distinctive cross on it as well.
His unnaturally effeminate beauty has unfortunately drawn the attention of many males and caused him a lot of strife and pain when he was younger. His appearance was cultivated by his mother and grandmother. The Yulestarian family is primarily matriarchal and believed that feminine beauty was more advantageous and profitable, thus they raised him to be pretty and feminine. Lets just say, Hope doesn't have the best relationship with his maternal figures. Hope often relies on his childhood best-friend for protection, a guy who he similarly shares an ambiguous love relationship with.
