Rokuro had grown up in a pretty well rounded family, they never had financial troubles, they had a small house just for him and his younger sister. They never saw much of their father, if anything he seemed to have dissapeared overnight. He was mature enough as a seven year old to figure out that he wasn't ever coming back... though his mother lied to him about their father being away on important business. His younger sister Rei, however, was only three and was too young to understand much of anything. But despite his father being gone, they were still happy for a while, until the bandits broke in... They threatened to kill their mother who wasn't a mage, and therefore was extremely unable to defend herself and her children against an attack like this. Rokuro and Rei were sent to the black market to be sold for various reasons. They stuck to each other like glue for the next year as no one would take them so young. Until a band of mages had broken in to try and save as many of these children as they could, Rokuro was able to help get his sister to the mages who took her away to hopefully be placed in a safe secure home. As for Rokuro however... he was picked up by a very different source, a tall male mage who "saved" him, and in return demanded that he come with him, and so Rokuro had no choice but to follow.

The mage Raised Rokuro for many years, and became almost like a father to him. Though, his morals were different than most... but as Roku never got to see much of the outside world, it was all he was taught to know. That killing wasn't a sin, that being powerful and feared was all that really mattered. He had no loved ones besides this mage he had looked up to for so long and trained extremely hard to try and please him. He never truely knew if he agreed with all that he taught him, but he knew if he didn't do what he was told he would surely be punished. His father let him out into the world alone without any support when he was 16, since then he has been trying to forge a name for himself throughout fiore that others would fear when they saw his face.

Roku has very good reasons for not joining any guilds as of late, he doesn't want to get close to anyone until he knows for sure that he can protect them. though it is an unrealistic goal as he cannot secure the safety of anyone no matter how strong he is. Roku would also hate to be in a team where he is not the leader, because if he has to listen to someone it gets on his nerves since he likes to be the one in control. however, if he gets to be a leader, he certainly isn't the best choice for a good one. He would be too cocky to make good decisions and would not care about the lives of the people he was supposed to be looking out for. If they were left behind in battle, he doesn't care. As long as they win, winning is all that matters in this world. If he can be powerful and feared, it practically guarantees his victory.

Roku always carries his schedule around with him to make sure he's keeping up with everything he needs to do. But his favorite thing however, is to cross out names of his dead targets. The feeling of crossing out a picture of their face brings him a sense of peace and closure.

Roku has always loved the feeling of overpowering someone, he can't help but smile to see someone wriggling on the ground beneath his feet, begging for mercy

Roku loves a hot steaming mug of black coffee (unsweetened, of course) any time of day, he in general loves strong drinks that most might find unappetizing. 

Being Unorganized stresses Roku out, a lot. If he isn't keeping up with his schedule or doesn't have his calendar with him he goes into his own little panic mode. 

Roku hates sweets with a passion, he loves things raw and spicey, like seafood or sushi. things like cake or chocolate just taste like processed sugar and would rather put more useful things in his system that will make him stronger than rather for how good they taste.

Rokuro has zero tolerance for people who piss him off. No matter who you are or what your doing, if it gets on his nerves... your in for a world of pain.

Rokuro has a long list of things he wants to complete, but at the end of his calendar he has his lifetime goals, where he wants to finally be able to cross them off and being satisfied with his own acheivments.

Rokuro would love nothing more than to finally see the proud expression on his role model's face when he becomes one of the most powerful mages in all fiore, he has never been able to meet his standards, so to one day have him be proud of Rokuro is one of his childhood dreams.

One of the main reasons Roku never wants to be close to anyone is because he likes to be in control, and if he can't be, or isn't strong enough to defend his loved ones, he'll wait until he is strong enough before he lets himself get close to anyone. Despite his outer shell... he still wants to have a family someday.

Roku fears that one day when he does finally want to settle down and have a family that he can protect, he might not be able to find someone who loves him due to the crimes he has committed. 

Roku fears that one day when he thinks he's ready to show his father what he has done that he will reject him and tell him he is still a failure.

Because Roku loves to be in power, having it be the other way around scared the living hell out of him. He hates it when others are stronger than him and he has to face that same fear of being controled for someone elses purposes like when he was held captive when he was a child.
