Personality: The Geezer is a pretentious individual. Having lived for an absurd amount of time and having dedicated his life to scholarly endeavors; he rightfully considers himself smarter then everyone he meets. This causes him to talk down to people, think less of younger people and making him generally self righteous. It isn't that he is exceedingly arrogant, he is surprisingly humble, but rather he just thinks less of everyone around him. As a man dedicated to the preservation of history, the individual just doesn't seem all that significant to him.
But you don't get to be a thousand years old not knowing how to laugh, well you can but that isn't how The Geezer did it. The Geezer has a notorious streak of mischief, elaborate practical jokes and pranks to keep himself feeling young. He'll laugh at just about anything and is easily amused. But despite his ability to get a laugh of out a whoopee cushion, he still enjoys taking jokes up to an eleven. However his idea of a joke and the average person's idea may vary a bit....
He has a strong moral compass that he follows to the letter. He believes in every situation there is a right thing to do and it his responsibility to do it. He takes great pride in this moral rigidity, if not a little preachy. An insult to his moral code is a sure fire berserker button. Don't talk philosophy with this guy unless you intend to say "Yes Geezer you're right, you're always right," over and over or unless you're looking to get an annoyingly stern lecture on why you and your face and your little dog too are wrong.
His moral code is rooted in the scriptures of times long past. He is a scholar first and foremost, a scribe of all human history. He has a passion for learning, and recording information in all of its forms. Almost rivaling his passion for obtaining knowledge is his passion for preserving it. He is an avid writer and teacher. He has no shame self promoting his many self written dictionaries and encyclopedias on to everyone he talks to. Nor does he hesitate to lecture everyone in ear shot on the history of that rock they just walked past; because somehow he knows. He always knows.
The man has a strong aversion to battle. As a scholar from an ancient time he believes his head contains some of the most important knowledge in the world, it'd be a shame to lose it to a concussion. But his aversion to battle and moral compass tend to clash. When he sees someone doing something bad he feels the absolute need to stop them, even if it means going into battle. In such a case his moral code trumps his desire to avoid combat.
When put into a position of leadership The Geezer very rarely likes it. He'll likely begrudgingly accept and do his best; but he isn't much for giving orders. But he is an even worse follower. He has too much pride to take orders from someone younger then him. So in short he isn't much of a team players.

-Preserving Knowledge: The loss of information is seen as a tragedy in his eyes. He aims to preserve and record human knowledge at every opportunity.
-Pass on Knowledge: All the knowledge in the world isn't going any good sitting on a shelf. The Geezer actively tries to push the knowledge and wisdom of old onto new generations.

-Death: Despite being un-aging he can still die and his death means the destruction of everything he has ever learned. Which is rather counter productive to his goals.
-Fire: It burns books and people alike, what isn't to fear?
-Surviving: Sure the Geezer doesn't want to die. But what scares him more is being the only one not to die. Because of his ageless nature he has to live with the very real possibility that he will be the last human alive.

Even though he insists he isn't balding and this head is shaved, no one believes him. Despite his age he has done well to preserve his bodies physique, making him the most ripped old man you've ever met. He frequently wears white robes that hide is form. However under them he wears a blue and white battle suit of shorts and t-shirt incase he ever needs to fight seriously.
