Important Darkened Skies | Black Rose Guild Event

Post by Kiru 15th August 2016, 1:07 pm

Kiru's face was wet... It dripped silently with water on the cold, iron flooring. Her black and white hair hung down on both sides of her face, obscuring her eyes from looking in any direction but downwards at the cold ground. It had been a few minutes since she regained her senses. She had no idea how long she was out for. All she could remember was the job. The one she took with Izayuki, Momo, and Neyvahn. Something had happened at the site of the Runi sanctuary, however, before the group could figure that out, they were met with a blinding light... Shortly after that they found themselves situated in a completely different world...  After that, each of them were struck in the neck by something, and now Kiru awoke in black room. Her arms and legs chained to the wall. She looked defeated. A look of anger masked her silent expression. Normally, if she had been kidnapped, these restraints wouldn't have been an issue. However, something was strange. She had no magic... None. No matter how hard she tried to focus, nothing would happen. She was useless in this situation..

A feeling of determination swelled up inside her however, and Kiru quickly looked up. She turned her head to both of the chains on her arms, closely looking for any details that would indicate age of the metal. She knew she couldn't stay here. Surly whatever happened was a setup, and she didn't want to stick around to find out what the apparent success meant. However, the door at the end of the chamber silently opened. And slim figure walked in. Kiru's face grew cold with hatred as she stared at them. It looked to be a woman. She could tell that much with the slim physique, and larger hips. However, they wore a mask. It was white, with intricate red designs. There were two slits in the mask which Kiru only assumed. Her long, frizzy hair swayed behind her as she walked, a hand on the hilt of what looked like a long katana. Silence was all that came from Kiru as she continued to watch the woman...

Darkened Skies | Black Rose Guild Event Image11

Today was a rather eventful day. Not a bad one, not by far. In fact, it was rather exciting. It seemed the Earthland wizards fell right into her trap, and Raze had a fresh batch of magical energy conduits she could use for her plans. Although, there was something different about this group. About one of the Wizards in particular... How long had it been anyways? Raze pondered as she stood before the massive window. The clouds moving quickly past as if the building she was standing in was moving. Of course it wasn't a building at all. No, this was an Edolas airship. Black Rose's Airhsip to be specific. It acted as the guild's guildhall. The large, rather ominous looking thing slowly billowed through the dark sky as the Edolas sun set on the horizon. She stood there, with her arms crossed. The red and white masked attached firmly to her face. Raze thought back to past events. It had been 14 years since Raze had seen that girl last. She looked very different however. Her black hair had been obscured by a white color on half of her head. She had gotten much older as well Raze could theorize she was 19 years of age by now. She was only 5 when it happened. 'Oh Kiru... How much you've changed' She thought silently to herself. Raze had definitely never execpected to see her again, not after what she did. But here she was, a member of the Earthland Black Rose guild. She some how managed to survive Earthland on her own after all these years... Without her father or mother... And certainly without her older sister... Raze.

Raze stood near three feet away from Kiru. Her look of hatred directed towards the masked woman showed she had no idea who she was looking at. "Oh Kiru, you've forgotten me already?" She questioned, her tone hinting at amusement as Kiru's eyes shot wide open, clearly confused. How did this girl know her? Where were her companions, why was she captured? So many question ran through the demon slayer's mind, but none would be answered just yet as Raze chuckled again. "Not surprising. Heh, traversing through dimensions the way you did as a little girl would probably have side effects." Raze leaned down and stared at her for a moment. Her mask couldn't show where the black haired woman was staring, But Kiru didn't seem to care. Her eyes were locked straight at her, her silence begging for more answers. "My... You've grown up haven't you? I was only 17 when I shot you through that portal. Heh, mother was furious, and so was father. So much in fact, I was banished from the royal family."

Her red armoured gauntlet made a metallic sound as she lifted up her hand, and grabbed Kiru's chin, forcing it to face directly into her mask. Her expression showed the one emotion no one had EVER seen her convey... Fear. The sudden realization of what happened all those years ago. Before Morpha found the little girl floating on the ocean surface, moments away from death. So... She had ties to this girl... And to this world. These were Kiru's origins... The origins that had eluded the girl her entire life... "Well, sister. I welcome you home. Welcome to Edolas. You're the only person here that doesn't have a clone within the guild... Heheh... But I assure you. The Edolas version of your friends are dealing with your little investigation team as we speak. They're going to be just as surprised as you when they find out."

Jiyu really did not know what she had been doing, actually she could barely even remember her own name! Every single part of her body felt numb, and she could barely breath. The sad thing about being a wind mage of any decent power level? You gave so much of your body over to your own magic and the magic of the world around you, actually most elemental wields did so! Thus when you happened to have magic removed for any reason whatsoever, it made you much weaker, psychically, mentally and even spiritually, you were basically placed into some living hell as a result of loosing your magic. Even thought she was still a half demon, had the tail and elfin ears to prove it? Jiyu felt weaker than any human in existence, nearly sickly, she could barely feel any part of her body and breathing took actual thought, as did ensuring her heart kept beating.

Everyone had to get taken through a very strong portal recently, and they had been dumped in another world. Considering that? Jiyu was extremely disoriented, her greatest strengths turned into intense weaknesses! The magnetic field of the earth which was a sixth sense of hers due to being half dog demon? Was different here, and her body didn't really realize it yet. All the scents and sounds were different, and with the stress of her body having gone through a portal and a naturally weaker body, Jiyu was well and truly screwed.

"Marschal? Someone?" of course he would be the first person she called for, curling into herself, and attempting to push upwards, her world spinning, the now heavier weight of night hunt, no magic included, hanging against her led, and her quiver felt like it weighed several tons. She had no idea what was going on, where she was or about anything else, she was just weak, and felt sick.

Ruminal Blackflower • Black Rose • C Rank

Ruminal was laying on his back in an unknown location. He was drifting between consciousnesses and unknown to the reason why. He had no idea what was going on and could barely think. "What... Happened?" Ruminal thought to himself trying to piece together how he ended up like this. Last thing he remembered was him and his friends investigating a place called Runi Sanctuary and then... And then?.. He couldn't exactly remember in his current state of mind. All the new right now was the feeling of all his energy seemingly left him all at once. He was breathing heavily on the ground and his vision was fading in and out. From what bit of sight he could see was very blurry but he believed to be in some kind of forest like area but it couldn't  have been otherwise he would be able to feel its presence. Ruminal's magic is founded on the energies of nature itself through manipulation with his own magic. For as long as Ruminal had magic he had connection to the very energy of nature itself.

Was then that it hit him, he couldn't feel natures presence cause he didn't have the magic to do so. His fatigue must have been caused by his magic leaving his body but it still begged the question, how did this come to pass? Why was his magic gone? A child like Ruminal were suppose to be rich with natural magical energies. Having all that magic ripped from him so suddenly must be the reason for the fatigue, there was no other explanation for it.

Ruminal rolled over onto his hands and knees in an attempt to try and get up but ended up falling down soon after. Was then that he heard a cry in the distance. It was Jiyu, and she didn't sound far. "Jiyu!?" Ruminal called back as loud as he could muster, hoping she hear him. He tried once again to at least get up on his hands and knees again and at least try to crawl towards where her voice came from. His vision was at least starting to come back which was a good sign that his body was starting to deal with the lack of magic in his body.

The room was dark. That was the first thing Neyvahn caught when he regained consciousness. Other than that however, he did not know. He couldn't sense anything else to be honest. No real sounds other than the slight echoes off the walls, No sight except slight glimpses of corners or patches of dim light, No smell except for the hint of Neyvahn's last known location back at the Runi Sanctuary. No taste... even his own dry lips were void of any moisture. However, only one sense kept him from believing he was in a void.

He still felt a few strands of hair itching his cheek, a smooth wall behind his back, and iron clasps around his wrists. In the pitch black darkness, he couldn't see it, but he could feel the cold iron shackles keeping his arms bound. Not only that, but his feet weren't touching the ground either. He was being suspended up by those cuffs. Neyvahn groaned groggily as the iron dug into his wrists.

"Kei, you okay?" he thought in his head.

The voice in his head responded back with a slightly perturbed tone. "I'm fine... but what's going on?"

Neyvahn tried to stretch further down to see if he could touch his foot to the ground, toes pointing and arms extending, but to no avail. The disoriented mage hung limp by his shackles, and let out a long sigh. "I don't know. Last thing I remember was being at the sanctuary," he said in a low voice. "Everything after that is just... blank."

It was then that Neyvahn realized something missing... something that's always been there, but it was gone now. He looked up at his cuffs, and tried to mold them, morph them and separate them to free him. The cast iron didn't even budge. Neyvahn couldn't even make them shimmer slightly.

    No magic.

"Shit," Neyvahn cursed, pulling even harder against the restraints. The situation was slowly getting worse, with every recovered detail slowly revealing itself. The magic-less mage didn't want to guess what would happen next.

Suddenly, a square of light appeared out of nowhere, temporarily blinding Neyvahn. When his eyes readjusted, he looked over to the light to realize that it was a doorway. A silhouette stepped into Neyvahn's view from the doorway, and walked forwards into the room. The door shut behind the silhouette and everything when dark again. However, this time it only lasted a few seconds before the ceiling flashed to life with numerous rows of lights. Neyvahn shut his eyes closed and waited for them to readjust to the light.

Before his eyes could fully accommodate the new light, Neyvahn's jaw was grabbed and his whole head was turned to look at the silhouette. However, it was no longer a silhouette. The face looking at him was familiar, as if he had known it his entire life. That's when he realized it. He was looking into a demented mirror. The face across from his twisted and distorted into a wicked smile, one Neyvahn wished not to see on his own face. The eyes of the man were red, and wide open with a strained and buggy manner. The eyes of a madman.

"Rise and shine, sleepyhead~" the warped figure hummed. He tilted his head and chuckled at Neyvahn's lost expression. "Oh... I see, this one's still half awake!" The psycho curled his fist and jabbed it right into Neyvahn's gut. Neyvahn's mouth hung open in silent horror as another fist hit a little higher, right into his lungs. The silver-haired man let out a silent breath as the air left him. "WAKEY WAKEY!" The madman took his right fist off of Neyvahn's stomach and thrusted it into his side, right where his kidney was. Neyvahn let out yet another mute scream while the figure grumbled.

"Took you long enough. I was waiting awhile for you to wake up."

Neyvahn finally regained his breath and spat on the ground, his spit tinted red. "It was just so comfortable, I couldn't resist falling asleep."

His twisted reflection swiped a hard fist across his cheek and forced his chin forward. "Well naptime's over, brother."

"... Wait... Kei?" Neyvahn said in a low voice. "But... what happened?... How did it happen?"

Kei just stared at Neyvahn with dark red eyes. "Simple, I was the stronger of the two, so I took over. After all, I was always dad's favorite~"

"What the hell are you talking-"

Kei hissed as he grabbed Neyvahn's skull and bashed it into the wall behind him."Did I SAY YOU COULD SPEAK!?"

Gala grunted as he opened his eyes and relized he was no longer in the Silver Moon in, he had been getting ready to go out on a mission and then everything went black and he woke up on cold earth surrounded by vegitation and after feeling the air moved relized that his Taunki features were now exposed and try as hard as he could he could not make them vanish thru his illusions.”Shit not only do I now know where I am but I can’t blend in this is just great” he grumbled as he stood up and dusted himself off as he fixed his glasses and patted his tail to get the dust out of it..

Hearing a familier voice call out from guild mates Gala quickly tried to run into the direction by ended up tripping and falling down a steep hill and ended up rolling down right in front of Jiyu.”ugh my back you ok Jiyu?”The Tanuki asked as he righted himself after a few moments and offered the girl a hand to help her up.

shit I'm fixing this bc I can't pay attention ahhhhh

Black. It was all the blonde mage could see as she struggled to open her eyes. She hadn't a clue where she was. The air felt stifling and stale, and she felt as if her body were being pulled down by some extraordinary force. Valkryes let out a small, confused cry as she finally managed to open her eyes, her vision blurred as if she had just woken from a hard sleep. To be honest, that was the best comparison she could make to her current condition. It was as if she had been asleep for a week straight, though she instinctively knew that wasn't it. Even if she couldn't remember quite what she had been doing, Val knew that she hadn't slept that hard in years. As she finally found a moment to look around, she shook her head in utter confusion.
"What the hell.. who turned off the freaking lights..?"

Valkryes reached to rub her hazy green eyes, only to feel a weight pulling against them. She could reach her eyes, which she did, but the weight was extremely uncomfortable. She looked over, examining the force that had been dragging her down in the dim lighting.
Cuffs? Am I missing something here?
She thought to herself, her confusion and frustration now evident. As far as the mage knew, she hadn't done anything that stupid lately. At least, not stupid enough to have no memory of it. Now feeling more on edge than ever, Valkryes held out a hand, expecting her trusty weapon to appear. Even if she didn't need it, just having the Pistol's familiar grip resting along her palm was comforting.

    "Requip, Pistol."
    "The hell? Requip!"

The blonde flexed her hand, frustrated and perplexed by the lack of a weapon. It was strange; she couldn't feel anything. She couldn't seem to even find her pocket dimension. It was as if it no longer existed. After another moment of pondering the issue, it hit her. She couldn't feel any magic energy at all. Nope, nothing, nada. Even if she indirectly used magic, Val could still usually feel its presence. Or in this case, the lack of.
Well, this didn't bode well for her.
