Job Title:
Treasure Hunt
Rank:
A
Player Requirements:
Golden Phoenix members only, at least one A rank mage or equivalent
Job Requirements:
40 Posts of 400 Words minimum per post.
Job Location:
Phoenix Mountains
Job Description:
Now this is going to be the average hunt, so prepare yourself for the best. One can equip with some of the heaviest gears that the guild can offer, but with a lack of experience and skill, the result of failure can never be changed. The location that has been chosen was one designed to give the Golden Phoenix members an advantage. Phoenix Mountains. In this job, the jewel seeds have been amplified to satisfy even the worst cases of greed, so many jewels can be placed through the multiplication seeds, allowing the seeds to sprout out even more money for those who can get their hands on it. Who said money can't grow on the tree? Er... Seeds. Beware however, the enemies at this point are brutal and have the ability to end the life of a careless fighter. As of current guild knowledge, there are other guilds, wandering mages, pirates, thieves, hunters all for that treasure, and that is excluding any monsters that may guard the mountains as well. On the plus side, at least the Phoenix Birds won't attack you!
Enemies:
Weak: Sniping Fire (1x): Looks like the Welcome Wagon expected you here, magic bullets flying at you suddenly. Don't get hit by the bullets, or you take A rank damage. And to make sure one remembers the pain of being struck by the bullets, they explode on contact with their target. That explosion is designed to add a state of shock onto the pain. Also, good luck finding the source of the firing, due to the fact that it is very much distant.
Normal: Pirates (5x): Magical ones as well. For every Normal monster, dice monster rolled, there is a water mage, a fire mage, and ice mage, an earth mage, and a darkness mage. These versatile groups attack all at once to overwhelm their opponents. Each strike that they hit inflicts A rank damage.
Strong: Buccaneers (3x): Stronger pirates basically. All of them are involved in using crash magic, meaning they go all out in their attacks. Beware of these pirates, for they have blows that really sting if one got hit by them. Each of them inflicts S rank damage per strike, and can take 10 A rank hits worth of damage.
Boss: Chelsea: Leader of the Pirates trying to locate the multiplier seeds. Provided you survive long enough to get to her, you will begin to notice a bit of an odd aura around her. Any buffs to strength or speed will be copied and added to her own, guaranteed to make her much more physically capable of fighting. She dual-wields two pistols, each bullet inflicting S rank damage. It takes 30 A rank hits to defeat this pirate queen.
Reward:
-45,000 Jewels
-Advanced Multiplier Seed: Can only be used on A rank jobs or below. The user can triple the amount of jewels that they earn in one job at the cost of the exp, meaning they would not earn Exp for that job.
