What was a family? Well the little girl could tell you very easily that one's family was whoever they wanted it to be, and it was not always their own flesh and blood, even if that was the ideal situation. She'd grown up for five years in the 'castle' of a small village, one that lived alongside monsters, and where everyone practiced the same refined kind of magic, thought to varying degree's. Honestly, it was a gorgeous kind of unity and Frey could never see existing somewhere else, in fact her last name was the same as what the village thought was the life force of everything in the world, a Rune! Growing up to be a sweet girl was the only thing she had to worry about, until one day something upset several of the wyvern like monsters near them, and those dragon beasts attacked the village, wrecking the town wall and burning a few huts down before anyone even knew what was happening. At first? Rune had tried to help the village that saved her life as an infant, the place she came to call her family and home. However during the fight, something had bashed her over the head, knocking her out so that the last thing she saw was the silver colored icy fur of her pet Rune Wolf.
Fairytail would wake up to the sound of pitched barking right outside of their door he had been carrying the little girl that saved his life all night long, running and teleporting, before running again and repeating the process to put as much distance between them and the village as possible. Honestly? He didn't know if their would be anything to return to, but Silver would not allow the little girl to die on his watch, so he'd taken her away, looking for somewhere safe, and a location to aid her. Considering? She was bleeding from the side of her head, and he himself had numerous lacerations on his legs and flanks, the spaces left uncovered by his armor and saddle, tail lashing back and forth, causing his weapon to fly off of it, barking continuously to draw attention.
