Hisashi Isamu was about to try something new. He usually gained experience from fighting alongside his mates as Savage Skulls. Even though he was annoying to them, they without doubt got along well in the end. He needed some more experience in order to take his ranking up examination. He decided to get some experience in a field he hadn't been involved in before. Apparently some hospitalized children got depressed and needed some cheering. Isamu had a perfect plan in mind, not exactly a perfect one but it was one that would earn him the money for sure. He hummed as he walked his way to the hospital, reaching the destination in the evening. He did not knock the door as he opened and walked in to see a woman at the counter. He walked up to her and said, "Hey, uh, I came here to entertain some depressed children patients, could you please direct me there?" After some introduction, the lady directed him to the room.
Isamu reached the room soon enough. Like before, he chose not to knock as he opened the door. He saw a nurse sitting on a chair in the middle of the room. There were three beds on both her sides. On the beds lay children, one in each bed, summing up to six children in six beds. "You must be Nurse.." Isamu did not remember. He took out a chit of paper from the pocket and opened it. He had written the name there. However, he could not read his own handwriting too well. "Gl-Glad-Gladi-Gladiator?" He looked confused, what kind of name was that? The nurse smiled as she got up and said, "It's Gladys." With that, she walked towards the day saying, "Take care of them, I'll be downstairs." Isamu nodded as he clapped his hands to get the attention of the children while Nurse Gladys walked out.
"Alright, guys! My name is Isamu!" He started to make an approach. He looked at the six of them and then on the document on a table beside one of the beds. He walked over to see that they were medical reports. One of them, according the medical report, had a permanent sneezing disorder. He sneezed once every ten seconds, usually silently. The boy was easily recognized. He then checked the file to see that the second one had a permanent hiccup disorder. Once again, the boy was easily recognized. The third one was a girl, she had this disorder that made her unable to reduce weight and thus stacked on the fat she gained so far. As the past two patients, she too, was easily recognized. The fourth one was mentally disordered. He was autistic. He had a bad habit of swearing despite his very young age. His mother told the doctor that he learned it from his father, who drunk himself to death before the boy got to reach the age of three. Isamu paused to respect this man, the father, before continuing to read that the same boy could not speak properly, only use random phrases his father used. The fifth boy was almost deaf. He was going deaf by the day and was very depressed about it. She could not hear most things. The doctor said that he needed to hear something one so that he would gain confidence. He said it was confidence that would cure this deafness but he just was not feeling it. The sixth boy had a very strange condition. He had a transplant once but afterwards his left hand got a life of its own and he was unable to control it, it did things on its own. His left hand was tied to his back and thus he was once again recognizable.
So far, the children anticipated his next action. If anybody except Isamu and the kids were there, they would have fainted. Isamu took out a bottle of alcohol from his inner jacket pocket and whispered, "Nothing cures depression like a nice drink of alcohol!" He took a sip to demonstrate before giving a sip to the boy with the sneezing disorder. "Are you out of your f**king mind?" Said the boy with the mental disorder as after taking the sip, the sneezing boy sneezed louder than he had ever sneezed before. The girl with the weight disorder was right in front of him, she backed away from the loud noise only to stumble over a chair and fall backwards. On the other side of the chair was both the boy with the left hand disorder and the one with the hiccup disorder. The boy with the hand disorder, due to the disorder, hit the boy with the hiccups, pushing him away from the falling fat girl. The girl fell flat on the boy's left arm, hitting a nerve in his shoulder, moving it and somehow managing to cure the boy's strange left hand. The girl landed right in front of the boy with hiccups, millimeters away. The noise made by the whole situation got to the near-deaf boy, who was overjoyed to hear the loud thud. The boy with autism looked surprise, his eyes big in shock as he looked at the situation and spoke his first real words, "I'm never swearing again." And so, a roar of laughter followed, curing one boy of his hiccups, the other of his problem in the left arm, the other of his deafness and the autistic boy made progress. The sneezing boy and the weight-problem girl was not too lucky but they were cheered up nonetheless for they had their first laugh in years.
Nurse Gladiator, I mean Gladys, rushed into the room to hear the laughter. Isamu, who was holding an alcohol bottle, quickly put it inside his jacket pocket before the nurse noticed. He turned around and smiled. The nurse was overjoyed as she ran to the children. Isamu did his job here, even though it was a fluke, he cheered them up.
