Numerous streaks of lightning arced across the storm covered skies above Hargeon, as the townspeople had taken shelter due to the incoming winter typhoon. The ravaged sections of Hargeon were mostly abandoned save for the security set up to patrol those areas. The rain started to pelt down even harder as a few bolts of lightning shot across the sky once more. At the peak of the flash a lone figure appeared at the edge of the ruined city, most of his features were hidden due to the ragged hooded brown cloak he was wearing along with bandages that covered most of his face. The figure stood there for a long moment, unmoving and seemingly unnoticed by the nearby patrols. After another flash of lightning the figure seemingly disappeared, however he had simply started to walk towards what used to be the center of town…

As the figure did the rain intensified and the storm grew stronger and colder, as the rain started to turn into hail and snow, and the figure kept on walking, despite visibility dropping by the second, he slowly walked across the ruined town completely unhindered by the wreckage.

The rain tapped to white roof of the caravan that she had been laughing in for quite some time as the rattle of bottles and clinking of cans came from the closed area of the caravan. The loud clop of the hooves of great pack horses as they walked on stone paths went well with the occasional clink of a bottle followed with the loudest of happy yells. Inside the caravan a woman could be seen arms made from the most pure blue of water seen before holding a large bottle of alcohol no bigger than a human torso chugging away. As she happily drank away the bottle four different people all midian in looks and clothing chanted the words 'chug!' over and over until she slammed the bottle down and kicked it over empty, "I AM THE QUEEN OF SAKE!" She would yell as the people cheered and took great swigs from their own drinks. Sitting down on one of the benches in the caravan she would begin to cough sounding as if someone was dying or choking on blood as she did, with each cough getting worse this would continue for a good minute while those around her used already to the sounds would continue their party.

With a smile she would tap the shoulders of one of the girls in the caravan as they would smile and hand her a bottle of water which was quickly downed by her, "Thanks, How much farther to Hargeon?" Her smile was met with the long faces of those around her as in her drunken stupor she would look at them confused, "What'sh wrong? I swear it is not like the place was destroyed! That was YEARS ago!" A nervous laugh came from her as she read the mood in the air a hand reaching to her body as she would manipulate the water in her body to remove the drunken state she was in, "Tell me NOW what happened. . ." The people before her remained silent before one of the younger girls spoke up, "Recently there was an attack on Hargeon which wiped out nearly the entire town." A laugh large and hoarse would come from her as she glared at the woman speak fear now evident on her face, "I-I am sorry I am telling the truth! Go ask the guild master of Lamia Scale!" That drunken happy smile was met with a great face of rage as she would rise and begin walking towards the doors of the caravan, "IGSA! What are you doing?!" the woman screamed in panic fearing the worst as she simply looked back a smile on her face, "Going to check it out for myself." Jumping from the back she would ride the water itself from the rain using it like a makeshift ride to quickly speed towards Hargeon.

In the moments leading up to her approach towards Hargeon she could not help but see what had happened running around in her mind the sounds of screams, begging for mercy as their home is blown to pieces. Each thought leads her more and more to anger as now memories old and forgotten by herself mix with new thoughts the sights of radiation soaked lands and people screaming as their own flesh melted away from the heat, "Not real. . ." She would chant to herself as the memories tried to pour in a saying she had to make if she ever wanted to stave off the memories of that day. Reaching the main entrance to Hargeon she could see even from her vantage point the destruction wrought upon the town as patrols walked everywhere and the rain soon turned to snow and hail all around the city. Walking around she would ask the patrols soon gaining knowledge as to the location of the guilds base as in a storm of anger she would run towards it soon stopping at the entrance and barging her way in with eyes red from tears she could not even tell she was letting out, "HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN?!" She would scream at whoever was in there followed by a loud and wrenching cough as blood splattered to the ground with each heave in her cough but an eye always on the guild members, "WHY! Why AGAIN. . ." She would continue to glare at those around her a deep hate not for them but for herself for not being there, rather those around were who she could take that hate out on.

    K
ateri stood tall on the back of the titanic beast, covered in dull black armour with silver eyes known as Shadow. The leather wings allowing the air to glide past as he made a large circle and looked at the world below for any signs of trouble. Kateri kept her trusty rifle at the ready, the 20mm rounds proved to be overkill to the most extreme, but they ensure that she didn't miss so long as the round was within a foot of her target. Granted she was the best sniper in Fiore, and she had never once not hit her target, the fact that the rounds were large enough to hit her targets even with a foot of leeway was a comforting thing as useless as it was.

A harsh wind began kicking up, Kateri immediately freezing her feet to Shadow's head to prevent herself from being blown off. It was just in time as a sudden blast of wind and a lout crash of thunder occurred, had Kateri been closer the the clouds the sound might have split her ears wide open, had she not been frozen to her companion she might have been blasted right off... "Azure to Kateri." the sound came over a specialized headset Kateri was wearing. "Yeah, what's up?" she replied while placing an arm in front her eyes to try and block some of the incoming rain. "Wind's kicking up, I gotta pull the Salvation back the coast. I'll send the drones since they're better suited for storms, but I won't endanger my crew." "Understandable, I'll stay up here. Shadow's been through some crazy shit so a small storm won't stop him." "Ten-four"

Off in the distance a fairy large vessel was seen turning on its side as it banked hard to turn around. Three small dots flying out the back of its underside and splitting off in several directions. While the drones didn't have the ability to go on forever, they could certainly last for a few hours till the storm passed. "Drones deployed, Salvation out." and like that, the H.S. Salvation flew off to find a place to take shelter from the coming storm just in time for it to turn to hail and snow, something that might have scratched the paint...

The figure walked onto a small clearing from rubble, a section of the town that used to be the market districts, he stood there for a moment. The storm blew around him however he seemed unaffected by the harsh winds and biting cold as his cloak whipped and fluttered in the harsh winds however not evet moving far from his body, not even to reveal what lies underneath. The figure’s head turned side to side slowly scanning the area, after a moment he stopped and lowered his head. A few more flashes of lightning illuminated both the sky and ground for a moment, as the storm seemingly refused to let up.

Suddenly a patrol rounded the corner and saw the figure standing their motionless, “You there! Don’t move this is a restricted area! Stat-“ He was suddenly cut off when a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky as a swift hit to the back of the man’s head knocked him out. As the mage fell to the ground the cloaked figure stood behind him for a moment. He then reached down and pulled out the magic Flare gun the mage had on him and fired it, and as soon as it went off he dropped the flare gun and seemingly disappeared back into the storm, only to seemingly reappear a few minutes later a few blocks away, standing under a leaning slab of wall. He stood there for a moment, seemingly thinking for a moment, but then shook his head and slowly walked out of his shelter and continued his way to the center of Hargeon.

A man walked into the same-said building the rampaging woman had just barged into, he was wearing a dark grey jacket over light blue slacks and a white dress shirt. He stood just outside the doorway as the woman yelled out loud. He then closed his umbrella and lowered his hood, revealing a older gentlemen with slicked back grey hair with a brown streak on the side. He then started using the umbrella like a cane and walked up to the woman. "Trusting I am correct in assuming what you are blaming these folk for my dear, I am afraid the blame is well off base." He then took off the bags from his back and laid it on the floor, a few scaples clinking together on the outside as he did.

    Hargeon Town.

Or at least, what remained of the once bustling port. Recently, the town had suffered through a massive attack which left most of it in ruins, a work in progress on the best of days. What was worse, it seemed that an enormous storm had rolled in, threatening to bring down all their hard work. Thankfully, most of the buildings that were being rebuilt had been secured enough to prevent enormous damage, but there were still people running back and forth to make further preparations before taking shelter. Many of those aiding with this mad dash were from the resident magical guild of the town, Lamia Scale, including a certain gray haired wizard who was taking a break in what was acting as the guild's temporary base.

"He's right," Came the voice of one Dmitry Kazakov as he was leaning against the wall adjacent to the door. "Everything that could've been done got done. Nobody died and that's all I'm concerned with." As he finished this statement, he turned to open the door and head back out to prepare for the coming typhoon. But as soon as the door was open, Dmitry could see a Powerful red flare flying into the sky. "Shit..." He said, knowing full well what that likely meant. "Crap, we don't have time to deal with this right now!" Said a panicked guard, one who had likely been running about all day. "Don't get your chain-mail in a twist, I got it covered." With his response to the guard, Dmitry looked over to the woman who had the outburst. "You wanna help out, follow me." Whether she listened or not, the spirit wizard started running towards the flare. By the time it subsided and the storm began to pick up, he was already close enough to the point where it was fired from to not have to worry. Except...

"The hell is this?" Dmitry asked nobody in particular as found an unconscious guard lying in the snow next to a discarded flare gun. Knowing he had to get this man out of the cold if he was to survive, the gray-hair held his hand to his right, forming a silver magic circle along with his unique, smoke-like aura. "I invoke the Lunar Horse:..." His pupils began to glow like the circle and his irises became pitch black. "...Alsvinder!" At the sound of it's name, the spirit emerged, fully manifested by the aura permeating from the mage that called it. With the invocation out of the way, Dmitry hoisted the unconscious man up and placed him firmly on Alsvinder's back. He then sent the horse back to the guild's base utilizing the psychic bond they shared. When the horse arrived, it would make enough fuss for someone to notice and then disappear when the man was taken off it's back.

Turning to the task at hand, Dmitry surveyed the area where the man was found, discovering some faded footprints in the snow leading to and away from the spot. "These are fresh, else they'ed be buried already." He said as he stood up. The spirit wielder would turn and call back to the woman from earlier if she had decided to follow. "C'mon, they're close." Having said that, he began following the tracks at a brisk pace, making sure not to move quickly enough to draw attention while still picking up the pace above a normal walk.

"Yeesh, this is all I need right now..." Dmitry muttered into the wind.

Her eyes turned towards someone who had just walked in the door of the base a red looking in them from being bloodshot both due to her messing with her body and the tears as she learned what happened, "What do you mean 'off base'? This is LAMIA SCALE. . . A guild based around knowledge true but I have known their strength!" She spoke with a tone of pure anger and despair a fact she tried to avoid was the memory of what happened before but as she was about to pipe up and bring out another rant a second man spoke. Listening to what he said she would sigh wanting in all earnest to rage and outburst more but even if she could they were right, "No casualties huh. . . Unlike LAST time. . ." She would look around the tent wounded sprinkled here and there but none overly serious as most had simply been hurt during the repairs as she could assume. A glint in the sky as the man who spoke up before attempted to walk outside a head turning to see the lights of a flare in the skies. Panic arose in one of the guards speaking of them not having enough time, "Time is no problem! I am an Ex, Lamia Scale Member and will help where I can." Looking at the man she could tell the youngin was gonna ask anyways and to be honest she needed something to take her mind fully off the state of Hargeon.

Following closely behind the man who had invited her along (though she more forced herself along anyways) they would arrive at the site of the flares firing. She would look around as the man would speak in confusion her eyes drifting to his location. She would quickly dash to the unconscious guard as the man began to chant most likely about to cast a spell as she would hold a hand over the body of the poor knocked out guard, "Hypothermia is setting in. . . This snow is gonna kill him if we do not warm him up." With a soft sigh she would form one arm into water and cover the man in all the water focusing on her arm as it would slowly heat up the cold of the air causing steam to rise from her. As she kept the guard warm using the warmth of the water and steam the other man behind her would summon what seemed to be a spirit of some sorts in the form of a horse nodding to him she would remove her arm and pull herself back quickly refreezing her arm and then turning it back to water in the form of a human arm, "I have reheated the blood in his body and staved off the hypothermia get them to the base quick."

Watching as the horse would charge back to the Lamia Scale base she would sigh and look at the man in front of her, "So I know this may not be the time but if you do not mind a name would be nice to get from you, Mine is Igsa Yeoja, Yours?" Almost like she was shoved off or her question initially ignored she would hear them call her due to the man being close by still. "Are they now?" With a smile she would place a hand on the ground and take a deep breath, "Show me what we have." With a calming breath and closed eyes she would begin to feel the air around her each drop of water, every flake of snow, each stream of steam that flows for one reason or another she can feel it all. In moments her eyes would snap open and she would sigh, "I felt something but it is faint cloaked in a way, they might be hiding themselves with magic!" Running up to the man she would sigh, "If they are using magic to cloak themselves it is GOOD I can sense most if not ALL forms of water in a large area around myself. . . So that means they either have little to no water in them. . . Or they are good at making it hard to find them by magical means." With a sigh she would begin to think to herself as always mind rushing, 'No. . . That was not a normal cloak. . . It. . . No that is not possible. . . I still felt the cranial fluids. . . But yet. . .' With a sigh she would note she was falling behind and quickly run, "WAIT UP!"

    A
signal flare went off in the distance calling Kateri's attention. Upon arriving however she found a multitude of footprints, some she knew to belong to Dmitry Kazakov, some she couldn't recognize. "I'm picking up movement." the voice came in on Kateri's headset. "What is it?" Kateri replied.  One of the drone's zoomed in across the expanse while turning towards Dmitry and Igsa, making a straight line for them. "I see metal head and some chick..." Azure said calmly, rerouting the other two drones. "I've got a drone passing by, intercept in 20 seconds." "Got it, thanks." Kateri reached her arm out for Shadow to land on it, the small version of the colossal creature slithering under the thick wool cloak Kateri was wearing.

Kateri formed an ice dome around the two men with a small hole that would allow air to come in, but keep most of the cold out. She took a few steps back and got ready, watching a small glint in the distance as it quickly approached. Exactly one second before it would pass overhead, Kateri jumped, using an icicle she shot at herself from below to boost herself straight up and grab the wing of the drone and swing herself onto its back. She froze her hands and feet to it so she wouldn't be whipped off as it was moving much faster than shadow normally did, and there was a lot less to grab onto with this thing...

The drone dropped down lower, getting a couple feet off the ground while Azurius took direct control. A hard turn had avoided a piece of loose debris that was knocked down due to the hard winds, sending the drone into a tunnel made by a collapsed building resting on top two walls of rubble. It was a tight squeeze but there was plenty of room for the drone to spin with Kateri glued to its back, barely making it through a hole formed by a set of support beams that gave weigh just after they shot through. Turning another corner while under the building, putting the drone and Kateri back on the right track, a wall had crashed down up ahead and threatened to destroy Kateri and the drone as soon as they slammed into it. The loud banging sound of the drone's main gun firing off left massive holes in the wall, so large that when the drone passed through only a few chunks of rock bounced off the front, flying over Kateri's head. "Rendezvous in 4... 3..." Kateri heard on the headset and unfroze her hands in preparation to let go. "2... 1..." she released the drone, kicking off and performing a backflip mid-air, stretching an opened palm below her and causing the snow and hail to converge into a path that allows Kateri to slide down without losing speed.

Continuing on her frozen lane, Kateri pulled herself up near Dmitry while reaching out and shouting over the wind. "Hold onto this!" she shouted while holding out a small rectangle shaped lacrima. "It'll help us find whoever it is a lot faster!" she shouted before slowing herself down enough to match Igsa's speed. "I'm Kateri! Hold onto this! It'll help us find whoever it is faster!" she shouted and gave her the same rectangle. Regardless of if Dmitry or Igsa took the HUD Lacrima she passed them or not, a black streak shot out from under her cloak, quickly growing into a massive creature that was 300 feet long with two pairs of 600 foot wide wings. Kateri angled her runway upwards, launching herself onto Shadow's back and quickly making her way towards his head. One of the drones pulled up on Kateri's left, the other on her right, and one directly und and all of them began going higher in the air as Kateri looked carefully for their target.

For an added set of eyes, Kateri stretched her hand out to above her saying "Ice-130!" with a confident tone, a set of large magic circles gave birth to a massive airplane with machineguns on the front and a mounted rocket launcher underneath. The plane was built for heavy storms, so she knew for a fact that the typhoon they were in wouldn't be of too great a consequence. She pulled out her 20mm sniper again, the barrel extending to its full length and the scope flipping up she began using it to get a look at what was in the distance... If either of them had taken the HUD Lacrima, they would hear Kateri's voice coming over as she said "I've got an unknown target about two hundred meters ahead coming out from under some ruble. He's wearing a brown cloak, but the damn storm's makin' it hard to give you any better details... If you can get a better visual let me know, I'll put a rocket on 'em damn quick." However this would only happen if at least one of the two took a hud, otherwise they would see Shadow speeding up in a particular direct and be left to assume that Kateri saw something.

Elaine was inside when the rain started. Azure had left only moments prior but the look on his face told her that it was something with much more meaning then she could understand. It was only within seconds when the rain and lightning turned to hail, then heavy snow. She managed to shut the rest of the windows when the sub zero weather.

She assumed the weather was normal for the winter in Hargeon, that the temperatures always changed due to being so close to the sea. She watched as a family fell to the ground in front of her home. She rushed out to get them and pulled them inside, making sure each was still well. She let out a groan, knowing that she most likely would have to go out and help Azure and the rest of her guild. She felt the mark on her back ache and burn; a sign that it was sensing some heavy magic in the city. She twisted uncomfortably as it began to burn more, creeping up her arms.

Once the family was safe, she requipped herself into warmer clothing, summoning her broad sword to her side and heading out into the storm. When she set foot outside, she saw a red light burst into the sky, a flare. Elaine squinted as she broke into a sprint; with each step, her warm clothes were exchanged with bright white lights, "Requip! Heaven's Armour!" Soon, her body was covered in moving black marks; some of which had engulfed half her face; swallowing her eye and turning it black. She summoned on top of it a white winter cloak, leaving the wings of her armour exposed out of the back. Extending them and shooting off into the sky, she soared above the town that looked exactly alike.

Coated with a thick layer of snow, people struggling through the streets; guards moving people along to get to safety. The cold wind bit her hard but she kept going until she landed at the spot of the flare. Retracting her wings she gracefully landed on the ground. It was no particular part of Hargeon that spoke to her, in front of her there were two figures.

Powerful mages. One of you. A voice rang in her head.
They're Lamia Scale members? She answered back, the mark on her swirled in response.
The boy. Yes. The girl....not anymore.
Right. And the storm? Any chance of it letting up? How about the magic? Closer? She demanded, walking towards the two figures. "Hey! Excuse me!"
The storm. Strong. Dangerous. Careful. The Mage. Magic. Powerful. Caution. Very close.
"Thanks dumbass. Because I didn't already know that." She said out loud. Before she could speak to the two figures in front of her, a drone passed over her head. On the drone she recognized Kateri, who had flown over her to pick up the two people. Elaine groaned and broke into a sprint once more; opening her wings and jumping up, giving a small push to meet Kateri's level. "Kateri! It's good to see you again? I assume you're in contact with Az? Did he send you out here then?" she shouted over the whistling of the wind.

The figure walked a few more steps towards the center of town, as he did the storm whirled around him. He had a feeling someone would have found that mage he had knocked out and figured he was in safe hands. A sudden gust of wind suddenly whipped across the town, the strongest one yet causing the figure to stand still and brace himself as it was enough to make him slide across the ground slightly.

It seems Hargeon herself is mad at my return…. I can’t blame her….

The figure looked up as an old bell tower started to lean and fall his direction from the sudden gust of wind. He watched it come down and then swiftly jumped to the side as it came down right where he had been standing. A giant cloud of snow erupted and was quickly blown away as the figure knelt next to the fallen tower.

    After all… I failed to keep my oath…. I deserve this wrath…

The figure stood up and looked skyward, towards the eye of the storm, he had a feeling what about what he was walking into, but he shook his head and kept walking. As he did he got on what used to be a street that went alongside a manmade river that had frozen over. As he walked the wind suddenly changed direction and blew towards the outside of town, making it slightly harder for him to walk forward. As he approached the ruins of a bridge there was another bright flash of lightning and when the light dimmed he had once again seemingly disappeared.

Despite the raging storm, it was easy to hear the incredibly loud sounds of Kateri's approach. As such, knowing her, he wasn't at all surprised by her incredibly flashy entrance and merely held out a hand to catch the device she had thrown, placing it in his pocket. While he normally might have been surprised to see her back in town, such feelings were suppressed by the need to find whoever was roaming the streets, knocking mages unconscious. It was at this moment that he noticed someone else calling after her and taking flight, a mage he had seen around the guild hall from time to time. Though he was a bit curious, he decided to leave the matter to his younger friend.

He did stop when he heard something crashing into the ground, a large eruption of snow following the sound. Not sure if it was caused by the storm or the stranger, Dmitry picked up his pace to a light jog and continued along the path laid out by the footprints. Soon that path wound it's way towards the very same crashing sound, leading the mages to a fallen bell tower. Unfortunately, the snow displaced from the impact had covered most of the tracks in the area, making tracking next to impossible. But as luck would have it, Dmitry managed to spot another set further into the site, obviously fresh as they were in a place that should have been blanketed in the ice crystals. Silently, he moved along the tracks until he found himself on a street, deciding to pause so as to make sure his companion hadn't fallen too far behind.

"He's probably heading further in, doubt he's come all this way just to turn around at a bell tower falling over." The woodsman said, certain that this person was male due to the size and depth of his footprints. What still eluded him was why this man was making the effort of passing through a storm of this magnitude?

To truly hunt, you must not simply follow your prey, his mentor once said. To know where a living thing is going, you must first understand who and what it is. Know your prey, and you will know your path.

Dmitry turned back to the direction their target was likely heading. Just who or what the hell are you? He thought before moving further into the both the town and the storm.

With her pink hair soaked through and through the young woman was not exactly happy. It was not just raining outside, and it wasn't just storming, it was as if there was something in the world that the entire sky was mad at. But Evia was not in the mood to go and change into new clothes, instead she was going to find the person who had caused for this hatred to be poured down on her pink hair and make it weigh about a hundred times more that it should.

Her feet thundered through the halls as she stomped, her feet splashing with each step leaving tiny water marks behind her. Her lips were closed tight and her eyes narrowed. The female raged down the hallways of what was being rebuilt of the guild. She didn't know why she thought the person would be in the guild, but she knew that this was the most likely place to be as the rest of Hargeon was also under construction. She could feel the space around her drift with mystery and with the thoughts of resurrection, but she didn't know what it was, or, who it was. Only that there was and she was going to go and get them and slap them several times for the water that they had caused to pour down on her head.

Evia had long lost her shoes due to their squeaking and sploshing around as she walked. She still didn't know where she as going as the entire new guild was a maze for her. But she could feel that she was getting closer and closer to the tree that was stationed in the middle of the new guild, the only thing that was left from the attack that they had faced several months ago.

With this new realization the pinkette began to move faster until she slid to a stop, she wasn't quite at the tree yet,but she knew that it wasn't too far away.

There in the middle of a room was a figure with a hood over his head.

"YOU THERE! You know how hard it is to get my hair dry?! Do something to appease the weather people to call of this storm!"

She didn't know who she was talking to and she didn't care but the person there in the middle of her sight needed to fix this gosh darn weather forecast.

A soft cold wind permeated through the air an eye turned as she felt a new source of water enter her range as she looked at someone quickly flying in. Before she could enter any form of combat stance they flew in front of her diving down to hand the man in front of her a lacrima of some sort before quickly matching her speed and doing the same quickly giving her a name, "Thank you Kateri." once more as she finished speaking she could feel someone else enter the area her head quickly turning as they yelled out asking for them. A partial sigh came from her as she would simply back off and turn her head in a snap, "WHAT THE?!" She could feel it someone was by the oddity she had felt and now she had a target to move towards. Raising a hand snow would collect beneath her and as if it were a sideways avalanche she would ride forth. Ignoring the person behind her she would speak in the lacrima assuming it to be some form of communication device, "I have found someone near the target I can feel them so follow my lead." Grabbing Dmitry with an arm she would freeze her hand onto his arm so he did not get swept up in the snow, "Follow me!"

With a quick calmness she would heat her body and the arms until the water on her arms boiled cloaking her in the mass of an avalanche. Driving her way forwards like a storm with Dmitry in tow she would have him set on a plate of ice above her ride as she cloaked him with the heavy steam coming from her arms keeping him warm in the storm above them as she charged. In moments she could feel herself getting closer until she would stop at the person she could sense most clearly hearing them speak. Almost by nature she would roll her eyes, "You are more worried of your hair than the storm? Please." walking forwards she would simply look over to the man and sigh, "Looks like we found them. . . You do what you need. . .But stay near me. . .If the storm gets worse the heat from my arms will keep you warm. . ."

here was something strange with the path the target was taking... Kateri watched from high up through her sniper's scope as the blurred figure had taken cover in a conveniently timed bell tower collapsing before disappearing somewhere. However, there was something that remained constant throughout the entire ordeal... The man had gone from the outside of ground zero, and was almost all the way to the guild hall... Her eyes narrowed in as she spotted the others below rushing towards somewhere, and then someone had flown next to her. A short flashback took Kateri back to when she had seen Azurius Tade fighting the duel against another angel... Kateri looked at her with far less friendly eyes than she gave Elaine when they first met. The circumstances here were different from then, so Kateri wasn't in a friendly mood... she was in a business mood.

The woman asked about her boyfriend, wanting to know if he sent her. She was right to think that Kateri and Azurius were in contact though, the two of them were the guild's number one users of not-magic. Kateri pressed a button, sending out a pulse of energy from the lacrima that Dmitry and Igsa were both holding onto. Suddenly, the two of them would feel magic power erupting from the crystals and coating the entire world for quite some distance around them. The man who Evia had confronted would notice that his body was glowing bright red. Kateri then looked at Evia "I tagged the target, stay out here and keep an eye on him, I'm gonna meet up with Azurius!" she shouted over the sound of the wind to Elaine before the three drones and Shadow started flying directly upwards.

Kateri pulled out her HUD Lacrima and zoomed in on the building. "Time to flush out the rabbit." she said grimly, pressing a button on the console and then clicking the little red dot that marked the intruder's exact location. "All units, tactical retreat. I'm opening fire." she said with a calm voice over the lacrima that Igsa and Dmitry were using. While Igsa had no idea what was coming... Dmitry had known Kateri's capabilities for a good bit of time. He knew who her father was, and that her father was the most wanted man in Fiore for what he was... Additionally, Dmitry knew exactly what Kateri would and wouldn't do, and he knew that when she said she was opening fire, it only meant a hellstorm of bullets, bullets, rockets, bullets, and more bullets....

Soon, the building began being riddled by gunfire from Kateri's plane while she was just bursting through the top of the storm, making her way to a gaping hole that marked the center. She would track the small dot as it ran, the intruder would be able to know he was no longer safe by the fact that he would still be glowing bright red. What's more, through the wind he would hear a very distinct whistling sound... like a tea kettle that was ready to pull from the fire the sound would come in loud and clear... and get louder...

Kateri had selected three areas in the path her little new toy was running, and as the intruder would quickly find out, that whistling sound was the sound of Kateri's Mortar Strike spell. The whistling would end seconds before a massive explosion of black ice would come down on his general area, and another, and then a third following a line that Kateri predicted her would follow based on the terrain and his overall trajectory.

She would enter the eye of the storm, allowing shadow to descend in pure free fall as she pressed another two buttons and pressed a bit in front of the intruder's red marking. A magic circle would appear in the sky as a small cyan dot would launch near the intruder, erupting into more black ice and a violent shockwave upon impact. Then another would come down, much larger... and then it would splinter off into a series of smaller dots that would riddle the area with explosions.

At this point, Kateri and Shadow would arrive at one of the branches of the colossal tree that was the only thing remaining from the former guild hall. From her back, Kateri pulled out a special toy she was saving for the next asshole who went after the guild hall... A titan of a gun that was so massive Kateri was able to mostly hide behind it. She laid down on a branch with Shadow wrapping around her and the branch to prevent the recoil from sending Kateri flying off into oblivion when she took the shot. Meanwhile, the drones would be hidden somewhere...

Ni-Ju wiggled his way free through the last of the loose debris that covered the passages leading into the bowels of what had once been the labyrinth under the Lamia Scale guild hall and paused to give a half hearted swipe at the muck that covered the vast majority of his clothing before giving it up as a lost cause. "Rain and a little mud are the least of my problems after all." A sad look in his eyes showed more then a little remorse at the current state of things. The destruction of the hall had reduced a fair number of the tunnels to nothing more then cold wet tombs and the main structure of what was left was pitiable indeed. Putting everything back in order was going to take a concentrated effort and even with the amount of help willing to be lent, the tasks at hand were not going to be simple or pleasant.

The young mage's thoughts were rather dark and gloomy as he made his way through the rain and rubble towards what remained of the great hall, where the Zuo tree still stood it's vigil silently. It had brought some small measure of comfort to him to visit the tree at the end of each day's work and try to get his thoughts in some semblance of order while he pondered over how the former Guild Master's would have handled the burdens as had been placed at his feet. Such gloomy thoughts didn't sit well with his nature but as of late it had been harder and harder to see things any other way. Rubbing his temples in an attempt to alleviate the headache that was growing there, Ni-Ju sat down at the base of the tree and closed his eyes. It wasn't long before he was ushered into a fitful sleep by the steady sound of falling water. Little did he know that the wheels of fate would soon come crashing his way as the cares of the world dissolved away into the land of dreams.

Elaine shivered slightly at the cold look Kateri gave her, she had only met her once before as of what she remembered. And she was set to believe that her memory of her was quite pleasant. She sighed at the cold, the weather was only getting worse and worse. Slightly lost in thought before Kateri pointed out the man that they had been searching for.

Elaine hadn't been a part of Lamia Scale for that long. So she had never known to history of man in the cloak, but it seems as though he was important if all the members of the guild old and maybe some new ones. "Kateri! Is that the target?" She asked over the wind, though the question seemed invalid when she saw the young girl pull out a slew of weapons, aiming it at the man. Elaine sighed, she expected nothing less; she extended her wings and drafted back up into the air; summoning her King's Bow she drew it back, summoning the largest magic arrow she could find, it was a ginormous deep blue arrow; aiming it at the man. Even with the Kateri's heavy fire Elaine kept her aim on the man, until of the corner of her eye she saw Kateri fly back at the shot of her massive gun.

"Holy crap...." She murmured when Kateri flew past her. Elaine brought her bow back up to the figure, "H-hey! You! Stop right there!" She shouted at the man, if he were not to listen at her, she would let the arrow fly, not fully hitting him, but close enough to feel a burn of the magic as it whizzed past him.

The figure took a few steps into a building that seemed to be mostly intact, he moved with a certain degree of softness to the degree of not even the snow on his shoulders were falling off. After a bit he stopped in what had been the center of a shopping store, one of the many stores that used to thrive due to the nearby presence of Lamia Scale. However, now it was nothing more than another abandoned building, or that’s what the figure had thought. While he had been standing there for a minute someone had ran out from one the hallways and called out to him.

"YOU THERE! You know how hard it is to get my hair dry?! Do something to appease the weather people to call of this storm!"

The figure slowly turned around and stared at the Young woman with one ice cold eye, he stood there for a moment, not saying anything as he carefully started to grab a few things from off the inside of his sleeves without being noticed. He took a step back towards a blown out window that had snow blowing through it. When Suddenly two more people suddenly barged into the building, one dragging the other with an arm of water by the looks of it. The figure silently examined the new woman who was walking forward towards him. However suddenly the person who had been dragged inside caught his eye. The figure stared at Dmitry for a long second before closing his eyes and lowering his head.

    Forgive me Dmitry…

Suddenly the figure thrusted out his arms and threw six small objects out infront of him without opening his eyes, suddenly there was a large flash of light encompassing the inside of the building completely as well as a cloud of smoke, the figure had jumped backwards out of the building, his ears ringing but his eyes relatively fine. When He landed outside he extended out his right hand as a magic circle appeared at the hand, and as he did a walls of Crystallux(Ice and Crystal compound) would completely cover and block all the openings of the building just as the wall of the eye hit the area causing the figure to brace himself as nothing but white surrounded him.

Trusting they stay in there… they will be safe from this part of the storm…

The figure then slowly got up as he then noticed he began to glow red, he looked at his right arm in confusion when suddenly he heard gun fire, without even hesitating he jumped back turned around and started running as fast as he could through the worst part of the storm to avoid the remaining gunfire. He then heard whistling sounds as he ran that suddenly ended in three explosions, one behind him to his right, one to his left and one ahead of him to his right. He then stopped as debris rained down around him and he then waited a moment. Then suddenly he faintly saw the glow of a magic circle not too far in front of him in the air. He reached down and grabbed an old metal lightshade from a destroyed lamppost, and tossed it with all of his might at the magic circles general area, a second later a bright explosion was seen through the white out and as it cleared another larger magic circle had already appeared above him. The figure seemingly stood there for a moment and let out what seemed to be a sigh as he held his right hand directly above him and sent out a minute pulse of his own magical energy causing what ever spell that had been unleashed directly above him to turn into solid ice and lose its effectiveness.

The figure then started walking again, and as he did a giant crack could be heard behind him as the Frozen cluster missile hit the ground and fell on its side then suddenly the missile exploded, causing a sudden rush of air to blow outward with ice shards flying all around the man. After a few more minutes of walking he noticed the winds slowly dying down and could see a small clearing not far ahead. He stood there for a long moment, staring at what would be the inner wall of the eye. He then closed his eyes and stretched out his senses, looking for something, something he did not expect to sense underground. Remembering what he had heard he stood there for a moment and then called out to the weapons mentally,

Icarus… Geruko and Geruka… Form Ringed blade and Spear Bladed Shield…

He stood there for a moment as he felt the ice slowly forming on the once dormant weapons, after a minute he felt the completed ice around the weapons, the spiral blade around Icarus, and the spear shield around the Geruks. He then nodded and reached out with his cryokinesis and caused the weapons to start spinning. The ground on the far side of the tree started to shake as the two weapons started to spin at incredible speeds underground.

    Now… come to me…

The figure suddenly pointed up with both hands as the two weapons shot out of the ground, Icarus flew to the left side of the tree and the Geruks went to the right. They both circled the tree once and then flew towards the direction of the figure, a giant Sawblade in full torque, and the other a bladed disc. Right before impact the figure held both hands towards each of the weapons palm out and caught both weapons by their edges stopping them cold. He then lowered Icarus and grabbed it by its actual metal pole and then flipped the shield with his left hand and then grabbed the Geruks and held it like a normal shield. The figure then stepped out of the Eye wall causing his hood to be blown off and his incredibly long white hair to get caught in it the first time and blew to his side as he did. He then suddenly stopped as he noticed a small blue dot at his feet that then moved up to his chest. The figure then looked up at the tree and noticed a young woman next to a dragon, holding an oversized gun pointed straight at him. Next to those two was a Platinum haired young woman aiming a bow with a large arrow pointed straight at him. For a moment, there was nothing but the stillness of the scene, until a large ship and three drones flew up out of hiding and circled him. The Captain of the ship called out on the ships speaker identifying himself and giving out a command as all the guns trained on him. The figure stood completely still, assessing the situation as much as he could, before coming to a firm conclusion as he bowed his head causing some of his hair to fall in front of his eyes. He slowly opened them and stood there and simply looked at the grand Zuo tree for a long moment, not doing anything else.

After a bit of walking, Dmitry stopped and looked about as his instincts told him his prey may be nearby. Sure enough, his eyes caught view of a figure heading into a building, though he couldn't quite make out who the figure appeared to be from this distance. Before anyone could even touch him, he had long since broken out into a hard sprint for the building, bursting inside just as his companion had come flying in on some kind of avalanche.

"Pinky?! The hell are you doin' here?" He asked in a genuinely shocked tone, having not expected to see her out here. After the surprise faded, his attention turned back to the stranger, who now seemed to be staring right back at him. For a moment, one that felt longer than it was, the two simply stared at one another. Eventually, Dmitry's eyes widened as a realization struck in regards to who was standing in front of him, just as that very man looked down at the ground. Before the grey-hair could say anything, however, the hooded man let loose an explosion of light and smoke, blinding Dmitry for a moment. When his vision finally returned, it seemed that the mystery man was gone, an ice and crystal barrier visible to the medium upon looking out the window. Before he could say anything on the subject, an enormous rumbling began to shake the newly formed cage.

"That girl's getting my hand upside her head for this..." Dmitry muttered, knowing full well the mage that such trigger happy antics belonged to. Cracked his neck and rolling his shoulders, the mage waited a moment for an opening in the crystal prison to inevitably appear during the gunfire. Soon, cracks could be seen from outside the fortress as pieces began falling through the roof of the building the group was in, destroying a wall and revealing a newly formed gap in the ice and mineral.

"So let's get started!" Dmitry said as he sprinted towards the destroyed wall, grabbing Evia's hand as he did so. When they neared opening, the two mages vanished thanks to the grey one's Arc of Destiny, reappearing in the snow outside. It was unlikely that the other mage in the ruined building needed any help escaping, considering her entrance. As the two landed in the snow, Dmitry finally let go of Evia's hand and began charging in the direction he now knew his target was headed. "Try to stick with that other lady, you'll be fine!" He called back to the pinkette, running in through the storm as Alsvinder ran up top his side, having disappeared back into the storm after dropping the unconscious man off. In a feat only possible due to the psychic bond he shared with the spirit, Dmitry manged to hop up and sling himself over his old friends back as they both ran, using his speed to run past the area where a series of explosions caught his attention.

Soon after passing a few craters, the wizard and the horse spirit came upon an area approaching the resting place of Zuo Cii, one of Lamia Scale's previous guild masters. Without even taking the time to hop off, the spirit walker dispersed Alsvinder's form and landed on the ground running at full sprint for the 'stranger' that had now stopped. Not showing any signs of stopping or even slowing down, Dmitry slung his fist with all his might at the jaw of the man, calling out his...name.

    "FROSTY!"

The cold glare of the person in front of her struck through her and the icy look in his eyes had the pinkette frozen where she was standing. Who was this person and why did they strike such a fear inside of her. The comment from the other female who had entered the room passed through empty ears as Evia was pretty much stuck to he place where she was standing on the floor. Her blue orbs were frozen wide as she continued to look at the person in front of her unable to move from her spot. The movement and the voice of a familiar male echoed through her ears and the girl looked back at the grey haired mage with wide eyes that looked as though she had seen a ghost. There was almost a pleading in her eyes before several things were tossed into the air and exploded with a flash of light and smoke.

Everything was white in her eyes and the arms that she had thrown up to cover her face were slowly lowered and with a quick glance the person who had been standing right in front of her was now gone. With narrowed eyes and a low growl like that a demon would do the girl pried her feet off the floor wanting to break down the ice barrier that was not in front of her. Gun shots ran through the air and Evia stalled and covered her head, not knowing what was going on around her. Her teeth grit before a hand was over hers. A regular heat to her had her eyes flash open. Dmitry.

With him pulling her behind him the girl stumbled for the first couple steps before she got her footing. Following behind the wolf like male she looked like a small animal. She trusted him whole heartedly, he was the first one to be there when she walked through the doors of the guild that had disappeared in the destruction of the large monster.

One moment they were on one side of the wall and the next they were on the other. He released her wrist before telling her to stick with the other girl and running off.

The pinkette looked at the female mage and scowled before turning on her heel and took off in a run towards where the grey haired mage had gone. Her hair was now pretty much a frozen popsicle now and the frozen ends brushed against her tanned skin causing fot the heat of the skin to melt them and the water to drip on the floor.

She was not running, not now but she was walking with a purpose. She was not going to stay with a stranger, guildmate or not. Walking past craters and other such dents in the floor she followed the direction in which she knew Dmitry had gone.

After passing through several more rooms the girl came to a halt. It was the room she had only been told takes about. The tree of a previous guildmaster in the middle and the greenery that surrounded the room made it a refreshing and replenishing place. She didn't stand next to the man whom she had followed, but several meters back, only watching.
