She could hear them on the inside of the building, it drove her senses mad, and she wanted to cut off her new ears already, tail flicking angrily beneath her dress and cloak, unseen by anyone who happened to be passing by. How was she suppose to go back into the building that had become her home, the place where she slept and worked when not on jobs?! Jiyu was now considering herself a freak, a very endangered freak, if anyone found out what had happened to her. Kazehime had only sought to see her mother’s visage again, went chasing a wild tale of a Time Gem, and found it to be tree, not expecting anything else would happen. However, the wind mage had make a fatal mistake while training with her mother inside the spirit realm or whatever, she’d consumed her own blood, and it turned out that any blood consumed was enough to start a transformation, one Jiyu had not even known was possible! All she could recall was her mother saying she wished that her daughter had not licked her own blood and then swallowed, upon coming out of the Gem, Kazehime felt like death, agony and misery over taking her as she began transforming. The body of a human? Could never handle the powers of a half demon, which was what she now happened to be, what she had been the whole time, half dog demon, she just had not known it due to her blood being asleep and her mother hiding her own demon status. Now however, Jiyu knew she was a half demon, and anyone else that saw her would know it too, not to mention she didn’t even know about the demonic aura that most demons and halflings projected! Poor girl, she had no clue the other demons, the non humans in Black Rose, would have some idea of what she now was, the very second she walked in! Thought considering the sheer amount of Tanuki’s, demons and half demons in Black Rose, she might get away with her aura never getting noticed, if she never did a mission with anyone again, of course that was not happening, especially since she didn’t know about her demonic aura. The bottom line was the fact that Jiyu was paralyzed with fear, right outside the door to the SilverMoon.
Once she finally got up the nerve to put her hand on the handle to the door? It was thirty minutes later, and it took several heavy, nervous breaths to open the door. If she had been any bit lucid and in a clear thought process? She would have first noticed, brought up the memory that marschal was a half panther demon, and then recalled that their guild master was a Tanuki, and lastly remembered that a good deal of the guild was not exactly human either. While she had been convinced she was human? Jiyu had been one of the few to be sure she was entirely one hundred percent human, anyone who found out about her senses, pretty much had suspicions that she was something besides pure human. If Kazehime had been thinking right, this would be only a hit to her pride, one that she’d try to drown out and pretend never happened! It would just prove what some others already suspected. However after her transformation, she had become convinced her mother had been killed because someone suspected she was a demon, and that explained why she let herself die in the fire, escaping may have proven to the enemy that she was a demon, and thus her child had to be one too. Now? She knew her mother died to protect her! Upon realizing that, she became fearful whoever murdered her mother, would now come back for her, somehow knowing of her awakening as a half demon. That fear gripped her heart as she walked through the threshold, back into the Silver Moon, and she confirmed her own worry, several members of the guild were still inside of the restaurant that made up the first floor, winding down from the day.
In her attempt to hide what had happened? Jiyu did not realize that she actually made herself look more suspicious. First off? Ever since she arrived, the most she’d worn was jeans and marschal’s jacket on the first day! Even the dress she worked in, only came to her knees and was short sleeved. The cloths she entered the building in? Well she looked like a nun or something, far too covered up for someone who normally looked no better than a stripper, or as if she was ready to hit the beach every single day! Also it left her face as the only visible part of her, and that was bad in itself, everyone had seen the marks on the side of her face, the scratches and bruise covering it’s left side. However those no longer existed, her complexion was smooth once again. Jiyu should have known better, bought some makeup and got rings of invisibly to make her new features invisible or something, it would have been soo much more conniving than the dress and hooded cape she threw on! “I’m going to my room.”
Normally she at least played around a bit with someone, especially if she could find Marschal, but today she B lined for the stairs! It was weird, and the chances of no one trying to stop her and figure out what was going on? Didn’t exist.
