Kaia can have a multitude of personality traits. For the most part, she's rebellious, restless, and at the stage in her life she's looking for a way to define herslef. She's quick to rile up, quick to anger, and quick to do about anything. She even plays the role of the occasional flirt to boys around her age, which just makes her see me even more odd on the outside. Because of her rebellious nature, she can become quite cocky, and get annoyed very easily. SHe has no problem being rude to others, especially if she doesn't know them. However, this is only towards those she doesn't know very well. Her compassionate side can be displayed towards her trusted friends, but even then won't openly admit that. ANd will still continue to mercilessly tease them regardless of her true feelings. However, if anyone points out her soft side, she'll become extremely defensive about it. Finding her kindness to those she genuily likes embarrassing, she's quick to resort to anger if it's pointed out.
One big word that can be used to describe Kaia is mischievous. She loves to stir the pot for her own enjoyment. Often trying to provoke others in subtle ways just to see their reactions. But rarely is it aimed towards her. She often tries to to intentionally make people get mad at each other for false reasons, while she sits back and giggles.
In battle, Kaia's persona rarely changes. She always loves a good fight, and usually enjoys fighting her opponents, regardless of who they are, or what their motives may be. A bad habit really, one she tries to lose, but can't help. Even though she likes to throw herself into the fray, Kaia isn't stupid. If she is obviously outmatched, she'll try to avoid a confrontantial approach just like any other. And she does this by being completely honest about her skill level. One thing she loves to do however, is make her enemies underestimate her due to her small and cute look. She often tries to play the part of the innocent young girl, and when they least expect it, she'll unleash the full fury of her much more braver and cocky nature. Often taking her opponent by surprise.
Under a leader, Kaia is usually cooperative. Despite having a rebellious nature, she can follow the direction of others if they're obviously stronger then herself. However, the girl is still young and can be naive in who she chooses to follow. She will rarely listen to anyone she deems weaker then herself, and attempt to follow her own path. Because of this, her outlook on leadership figures are usually determined on how powerful they are. One of her flaws to be sure, as she rarely looks deeper then that. Which is ironic since she thinks herself to have great decision making skills, and she's still not a very strong wizard.
All in all, Kaia is a young, rebellious girl who may be hard to approach for those Who don't know her very well. Not considered very kind, but she isn't ruthless. Just don't poke the beast and she'll be fine.

-Getting Caught By MANA (Magical Archeological Natioal Association): A company her father worked for. Long story short; Kaia discovered a sinister plot, and stole a bunch of her father's research to prevent MANA from obtaining it. They're now searching Fiore for her, and she fears if they find her, they will be able to achieve their goals.
-Losing Her Disguise: Kaia desperately tries to hide from MANA by only being called her first name. She worries if people find out she's being tracked by MANA, they will abandon her, or turn her in.
-Dragging Innocents Into Her Battle: Even though she isn't viewed as a relatively kind girl, Kaia still tries to avoid hurting people who aren't fighting. She knows the difference between right and wrong... Killing people who can't fight isn't right.

She also has an anime antenna hair (アホ毛 ahoge?) that always sticks out on the top of her head.
While wearing black ribbons, Kaia usually wears her signature white uniform with a black tie, a short red-colored skirt, and long black boots that reach up to half of her thigh. During formal occasions, or colder weather, Kaia can be seen wearing a red, school uniform like suit overtop of her usual clothing.
