Job Description:
Looks like you are now trusted by your Guildmaster to look for real treasure. With this comes great dangers, but the rewards for you are probably much higher as well. Careful as you take a hold of the job, for it does run the risk of mages dying. You're now racing against other mages as well as avoiding the dangers of this trial set up for any mages who dare try it. The goal is simple, try to get inside of the Volcano, dig to the core of it without causing it to explode, and unlock a magic seal of fire guarding the chest below. Provided the core of the Volcano is not triggered, the Volcano should not explode... Probably... Good luck! Oh, as for the reward, who does not like a nice surprise?
Enemies:
Weak: Flame Sprites (10x): Well, they are there to guard the treasure! Or more likely, the volcano itself. They each use fire! And they all inflict C rank damage with each strike they hit onto a mage. They take 1 B rank hit worth of damage.
Normal: Wind Sprites (10x): More guards! Wind can fuel flames... Though Wind normally cancels it out due to too much oxygen... But this is, er... Special wind, and each attack of wind mixes with the fire to help create more amplified attacks from the flames surrounding them. Each strike inflicts B rank damage. They each take 2 B rank hits to defeat.
Strong: Elemental Mages (2x): Earth, like the rocks of the volcano. Wind, like the air around them. Fire, for the flames around him. And Water... Er... These mages can inflict B rank damage. They take 10 B rank hits to take down each.
Boss: Guardian of the Volcano: More fire! Fire! Fire! FIRE! Well, this giant clay monster takes the form of a knight in armor, though the armor seems to be swarmed with flames. It doesn't seem to move too much, but the attack speed of it's magic is brutal. The flames cut through any defense of B rank or lower without question, instantly putting those spells on cooldown. Attacks that are related to earth that hit this monster have their damage cut in half. Each hit this monster uses inflicts A rank damage. This monster takes 35 B rank hits to defeat.
Reward:
-15,000 Jewels
-Jewel Cloning: Works on B rank jobs or lower only. This can be used on one job to triple the jewel reward given to the user at the cost of the exp, meaning the user does not get exp for completing the job.
