    Description: Alchemy is the ancient metaphysical science/mystical art of manipulating and altering matter by using natural energy. This act is known as "Transmutation"  and its sequence is usually described as:

    Comprehension - Understanding the inherent structure and properties of the atomic or molecular makeup of a particular material to be transmuted, including the flow and balance of potential and kinetic energy within.

    Deconstruction - Using energy to break down the physical structure of the identified material into a more malleable state so as to be easily reshaped into a new form.

    Reconstruction - Continuing the flow of energy so as to reform the material into a new shape.
    The proper application of this craft requires not only a full understanding of chemistry and ancient alchemical theory, but also a sort of natural talent towards recognizing and manipulating the physical objects with energy, which require uncommon levels of intelligence and aptitude. Those remarkable individuals capable of studying and practicing alchemy are known as "Alchemists".

    There are many paths by which alchemists can transmute the various substances of the world, with some alchemists being said to transmute by way of the Four Classical Elements (Water, Earth, Fire and Air) and some by way of the Three Essential Principles (salt, sulfur and mercury), but the basic tenet at the very foundation of all alchemy is that of Equivalent Exchange.

    Amaia uses Alchemy by deconstructing and reconstructing her surrounds which in return allows her to manipulate the battle field as she see's fit. This enables her to create obstacles, traps, attacks, and weapons using the very matter that consists around her.

    Strengths:

    - Alchemy allows the user to manipulate matter, thus allowing her to basically control all the elements. The user does this changing the state of matter of objects from a solid, liquid, gas, and even plasma. Meaning that the user can alter an opponents spell to their advantage, for example turning a water spell into a wall of ice to black an incoming attack. By changing a spells state of matter the user can dispel and negate any spells that are constructed by an element (Such as ice, fire, lightning, water etc). However the user can only do this to spells lower than the users rank. (Manipulating the matter around the user can be done at any rank)

    - Alchemy allows the user to create various constructions whether it be a simple statue, weapons, or buildings.

    - Alchemy allows the user to use deconstruction to destroy objects.

    - Alchemy allows the user to make objects stronger and weaker by manipulating it's molecular construct.

    - Generally alchemists are required to use a Transmutation Circle or a Transmutation Array to perform alchemy. However the user does not need to use a Transmutation Circle or a Transmutation array to perform alchemy.

    Weaknesses:

    - The mystical practice of alchemy to create objects out of raw matter or turn one object into another is widely believed to be capable of anything - indeed alchemy is often viewed as magical or miraculous by those unfamiliar with the craft - but it is a science and as such is subject to certain laws and limitations, all of which fall under the concept of Equivalent Exchange: "In order to obtain or create something, something of equal value must be lost or destroyed."

    - The Law of Conservation of Mass, which states that energy and matter can neither be created from nothing nor destroyed to the point of elemental nonexistence. In other words, to create an object weighing one kilogram, at least one kilogram of material is necessary and destroying an object weighing one kilogram would reduce it to a set of parts, the sum of which would weigh one kilogram.

    - The Law of Natural Providence, which states that an object or material made of a particular substance or element can only be transmuted into another object with the same basic makeup and properties of that initial material. In other words, an object or material made mostly of water can only be transmuted into another object with the attributes of water.

    - Since the alchemical forces being manipulated are not human in origin, but of the world as a whole, the consequences for attempting to bypass the Law of Equivalent Exchange in transmutation are not merely failure and cessation. When too much is attempted out of too little, what occurs is called a Rebound, in which the alchemical forces that are thrown out of balance on either side of the equation fluctuate wildly of their own accord in order to stabilize themselves - taking or giving more than was intended in often unpredictable and catastrophic ways such as accidental mutation, serious injury, or death.

    - Despite the versatility of alchemy, it proves to have difficulty dealing with magics that involve time and space. If the user is placed in a dimension that has no matter, it can put the user in a serious disadvantage.

    - All constructs created by alchemy still take it's elements weakness. For example if the user made an object made out of ice, it will melt due to the heat of a higher ranked fire spell. Metal constructs are highly conductive to electricity etc.

    - All constructs can be eaten by slayers if it is made out of the same element that the slayer can eat. Meaning an Ice slayer can eat a object made by the user if it is made out of ice, a fire slayer can eat fire made by the user etc.

    - As stated earlier the user (Amaia) can use alchemy without using a Transmutation Circle or a Transmutation array. Amaia is able to do this because she struck a deal with the ancient God of creation and destruction, because of this deal she was also given immense knowledge and wisdom. However the price for these gifts was a large chunk of Amaia's life force. As a result Amaia has 12 years to live. She will undoubtedly die at the age of 18 due to her shortened life force.  

    Lineage:

    Armoured Beast:
    Description: A humanoid monster was said to live in a small village in Fiore. The monster was said to be intelligent, yet strong. However, despite holding the intelligence of a human, it was shunned for it's hideous figure, which lead to it crafting it's own armor to hide it. Eventually the armoured beast rescued a princess in distress and they fell in love, eventually settling down and making a family. Their children, however, didn't have a hideous appearance of their father but they were prodigy at war and wore armour fit for conquerors.
    Ability: A passive defensive ability that allows the user to have a higher endurance (50% more HP), tolerance (Poisons and disease/curse effects last half as long) and a keener intellect than most others.
    Usage: Passive.

    Unique Abilities:

    - Principle of Truth: Amaia is able to immediately identify the elements, and a molecular structure of an object. Amaia can figure out the weakness, range, and effect of an element based spell (such as fire spells, water spells, lightning spells, etc) if she sees that spell used twice. (Note the user can only do this to spells equal or lower the users rank).

    - Principle of the World: Amaia is able to passively bring elements such as iron, sulfur, water etc from the deep earth and bring it close to the surface so it can be used by the Amaia accordingly.

    - Elemental Attunement: Due to constant exposure to the elements Amaia has 15% resistance to element based spells or attacks such as water, fire, ice, earth, etc.
