ISAAC ANICETUS
MAN OF THE LAW
"Shoot once, shoot twice, come on people! Hit the target, win a prize! Any prize, come on folks!" These were common advertisements and jeering from the dealers and conductors in the avenue of games and food stands. And where was this located? The city of lights and fun, Honsenka. They were celebrating an annual seven day, all week festival with nothing but parties, after parties, and festivities. When you could peek into the road, you could see children in their kimonos and yukatas running down the avenue of the Honsenkan festivities, groups of women flocking to rather flirty men and exchanging alcoholic beverages, elder men and women who would indulge themselves in the exotic foods they served. It was quite the sight really, and whom withheld such a sight was something that needed to be answered. Isaac Izana Anicetus had few events happen to him most recently. As of late, he had been let go by the Rune Knights, and entered Fairy Tail until he reentered his career as a law enforcing officer. And although gracious the Fairies kind words and merciful welcomes, he would forever be in their debt for such kindness. Meeting many people during that time, he had intended to come over to Honsenka to purchase souvenirs for the Fairies. But it was everything he expected, and it certainly wasn't all that great. The Honsenkan Festival was packed, and all game stands littered with prizes, and people's teeth sinking into the flesh of the most exotic of foods. It wasn't comforting, but it wasn't distasteful either. Next to a coffee stand near the center of the festival, a tall, masculine man with brown, short, messy hair and a stubble on his chin. A warm cup in his hand, he leaned against the stand and took short, controlled sips as the woman operating the stand would chat with him. "So what'cha 'doin all the way out here?" She chuckled, jolly from the festive season. Isaac, smiled and raised a brow. "Ah, well, I figured I'd gift some people for their generosity, Honsenka does have worthy presents." "You're right on that one. Just staying one night?" "As long as I need to. I personally don't have a lot of interest in going to festivals alone." "So you're alone, eh? Don't have any family?" The woman nudged his shoulder playfully as Isaac would pause midsip and sigh. "I should get going. Thanks for the drink, keep the change, miss." Isaac spoke softly and placed a handful of jewels onto the counter from his pocket, walking off down the avenue of festivities, with the coffee loosely close to his chest, lost in thought. | @King 442 Words |
